Weekly Update! The commission project will be uploaded tomorrow and The Artist project is fully animated now!
🕑 Added 2025-02-21 19:17:47 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
So there were some issues with the final render for the commission project. I was hoping to get the final version uploaded today, but it's been postponed until tomorrow. The final scene that needs to be fixed is rendering as we speak! :D I'm so sorry for the delay, but there's not long to wait!
For the Artist project, everything is now animated!! I only need to render stuff out at 4K and we should be good for getting that finished and on here for next week :)
This week, the focus was on finally animating the intro and finishing the peeling effect on the 360-degree camera.
We start off with a little opening shot and the idea is to show the outside in full focus so when it changes later we notice more of a difference.
We then have a slow approach to The Artist where we can see her painting on a canvas.
The final part is her finishing her painting, being very happy and for us to see it as a cute stickman ^_^
The next two GIFs show off the peeling effect on a lot more of the environment, the only change I might make here is pieces peeling off that fall by the camera look very sharp/ rigid so I will put a sub-division on the mesh to smooth it out.
That's all from me for now but the commission project will be out tomorrow morning or mid-day and then all focus will be getting the Artist project out for next week :D
I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and wish you all a restful weekend <3

Well you did really good with the Freddy animation so I can’t wait for the artist. So definitely a break is needed. And if nemesis one does happen i hope we get to some tentacle action (especially if it’s with a male) 🤭

There is another commission happening and there will be a much shorter and simpler animation alongside it so I don't burn myself out like I did on these two projects. I got some ideas about who it might be (Maybe Classic Nemesis as I'm a big fan of that look) but for now all focus is getting the Artist project done and then resting for a couple of days ^_^
