Commission Stuff! :D
🕑 Added 2024-11-01 19:11:00 +0000 UTCHi to all of you amazing people <3
So to start I hope people enjoyed the finished threesome animation :) It was a super fun project to work on but I have been left a bit burnt out after that and recent projects so this week I took a couple of days off and next week I might do the same just to have a little break but I'm not completely stopping work :)
For the commission, it's been getting the characters ready and getting the rigs properly done as I started using Rigify Pro to create them so it's been a learning process but I'm super happy with the results and honestly is a lot better than me doing it the way I used to. The Elodie model was a lot trickier to put together and the hardest part was getting her skin tone right, it took me a very long time because I could not get her skin tone to look the same as in-game but it's pretty close now I think I just need to make her a little darker. For her outfit, I want to try and make the texture look nicer and I'm going to try and use a particle system to make it look fluffier. Beyond that the characters are ready and the next step is making the environment. Usually, I build the entire environment and then place cameras but I'm going to do a very rough draft of the environment and then set up cameras so I know where I should add more detail rather than spending time on areas you will never see as I have a bad habit of doing that at the start of projects.
For the Artist and Pyramid Head project, I have used Rigify Pro to make a good rig for Pyramid Head and I spent some time getting the cloth physics looking nice for his apron so he's all good to go. For Artist I have made fixes to her rig and got the jiggle physics for her boobs done. I have been putting together the environment which is the main building of The Artist's Map but I'm doing what I said above where I have a rough draft and I'm not blocking out the intro animation to work out where I need to focus on environment details. This intro will take a while I think as I need to create the rusted metal version of each seen object and get the peeling effect on each one.
That's all for now though :) I'm going to be resting that's for sure but I will have more to show on both projects next week :D
I hope everyone has had a lovely week and wishing you all a glorious weekend <3
