I'm a little disappointed too.
🕑 Added 2024-11-28 14:38:26 +0000 UTCSo, the latest release has raised a lot of criticism caused by high expectations or a genuine preference for version 1.0.
However, I note that the new scheme has either been liked or found interesting, although unfortunately, not everyone has fully understood its potential, but it doesn't matter.
Unfortunately, there have been unfounded accusations on the Internet, probably caused by hatred and frustration.
There is a belief that I want to eliminate the old S&F and replace it with something completely different.
Nothing could be more wrong.
It would have been enough for them to read my work in progress to understand that it is not a replacement, but a new beginning with more solid gameplay bases for a more frenetic open_world, where the plots of the old S&F would have been reinserted without particular changes.
What I notice is that there is a huge gap between developers and players.
Where many developers bust their ass working, and some players are like the fat people in "Little Nightmare" who devour every dish in front of them, shitting judgments.
I would like them to know that I sleep very well at night and that their words are just a little annoying like someone who farts next to you during a good meal.
Some even believed that the game would be released ready and finished, and I still wonder where they read it.
For the rest, I sincerely thank everyone:
Those who liked it, those who complained, those who were angry, those who tried to make peace with empathy and diplomacy, those who wrote suggestions for improvement, and those who wrote me privately to compliment me in person or to speak better about many things.
That said, I will continue to work hard despite everything.
We'll talk on December 9th about all the news on upcoming releases.
And yes, I will start working on the stories again.

Well I have played 1.0 and LOVED it!. I saw a video review featuring the first 5 minutes of 2.0. It did not look like something I would enjoy playing. Too fast paced, too many choices to make over and over. I can see how some would prefer this style of play. But it is not for me. Hope you decide to do a true continuation of 1.0

In fact, that's what happened and I accept it, dude. I've certainly made a difficult choice, questionable for some, but I will continue to do everything I can to make this game great.

Dude I have never hated your work just what you put your patrons through. I believe what makes you great is the story and your ability to draw out and create interesting scenes. But now I think you're trying to do too much with maybe just you or a few other developers. It's insane to advertise a game like this and most gaming industries would get back lash.

Haven't played it yet and honestly haven't understood alot of the programming language, but having slightly dabbled in game development myself I know that games are the most fun when the developer has fun making them. You always seem super proud of it so im really excited to get my hands and try what you've worked so hard on for so long😊

I haven't said anything about it yet, but even reading all your previous stuff of the programming, barely understood most of it, but of what was going to happen between the interaction of the characters had me really interested. I did thought it was demo for what was to come to the game, well I also thought at first where everyone went in the game until figured it out, and understood like some VN games it's going to take a lot of relationship building before the juice stuff. So I am ready to see how things go when this officially relaunches again with everyone. I was really surprised when I saw one of NobodyInPartuculars characters in the game and that was a really nice surprise.

Truth be told I didn't think this release whas just a test, I thought it would already have aded the cont of 1.0 into the new sistem, so yes I am a little disappointed about the little content but it is ok dude just nice to have you back with updates. Hope the moest time consuming part (the sistem) is ready.

I haven't tried so I'm not one to judge, but from previous work I'd say you're doing amazing. And if I could add gifs I would add the man writing in pen and quil on fire cause that was HEAT

It wasn’t what I was expecting when I downloaded it and tried it out after not keeping up with the progress but that’s on me. You keep doing your thing and I’ll be excited to check it out in another couple of months.
