I'd give this about a 7/10. I do like this episode, but its not the best. It does have some good ground laying for sure as Drew said. Also this is the episode Piper finally admits who her true love is. Which helps with my raring, besides that there's not alot of excitement in this episode. I also like the idea of how it shows how spells can be meant for one thing but really end up for something completely different. Not a spell gone wrong, per say just not the exact intention.

As Drew pointed out, it's a good groundlaying episode and a great setup for the evil hierarchy and all things Source in the next season.... I actually think this episode is why I really went off Prue in S3, due to her hypocrisy relating to a certain Mr. Turner... it always felt like if it was Prue's bad boy they had to just trust her judgement and faith unconditionally... but, anyone else's bad boy, absolutely not.

I'm with Drew on this one, I LOVE this episode. It does lay the groundwork for things to come while also letting the characters soak in things that have already happened. I think it's important to sometimes have more "laid back" episodes where the audience and characters can sink into a lot of what's been happening. I also love the Piper/Phoebe antics in this episode alongside the Prue/Bane relationship. Another great pod episode!

I just watched this episode with the original music and the end scene where Piper is saying “I didn’t need a sign to tell me where my heart lies”…….the original music is perfect…..”lyrics as Piper says this …..”I see you smile again and what’s done is done. Digging the glasses, Drew! 🙂 Also I do have to say I’m usually on the same page as Drew when it comes to what gets me excited about eps. You need those high stakes and the girls in peril usually to end up with a higher rating for me. It’s just more engaging and amps up the tension/suspense. But this definitely didn’t have any pay off in regards to Piper’s choice. Not sure I ever completely saw it that way before when Holly said it, I was like “yes, you’re so right”. They could’ve done something more with that - given it some defining moment

Well, I see what you're all saying. BUT I love the puns and wordplay that mess up all the "signs" that Piper and Phoebe get. They think one thing is a clue, but then that clue points in the other direction. I thought it was so funny, because it was showing the pros and cons of Leo and Dan and that you can't just cast a spell to figure it out. I think Piper wants a normal life and can envision that with Dan. That's why she even considers moving out. BUT I think she ultimately chooses Leo because he knows everything (and she loves him)-- she's a witch and needs to constantly attend to the life of saving people even if that means not being able to sit through a "normal" date out of the house. Dan's a fantasy. If she COULD give up her duty as a Charmed one to be with Dan, THAT would have been an interesting episode.

When I originally watched this aired I thought it was okay. I see now that it does seem flat. What I liked was Piper and Phoebe's conversations as it seemed fun/quirky in a way.

I'm dying with the rating steady dropping from the beginning of the podcast to the end for drew 🤣. But we did have a lot of first in this one. First upper level demon, first mention of the source, first time seeing Prue with her photography stuff. It was an ok episode 🤷

Drew, pretty please do an HOH episode whit the 3 of U together IRL in the plane oO Was already at 5 at the beginning, felt like a filler BUT I remember loving Piper's boldness when it airs (o tempora o mores...), but she was the one climbing that Abded-Bane appolo and to my young self, she was embodying a bold sexually free women on TV, even the "trouple" Piper/Leo/Dane was really unknown for me on TV. The girls were like wearing pink sweaters but they were also free women I felt at the time.

One of my favorite episodes from season 2. It was interesting to see the difference in Bane following the episode Ms. Hellfire. Shannen and Antonio were fun to watch. It would have been interesting to have Bane return for more episodes. Keep up the great work! I hope Jamen is doing better and better with each passing day, and as always love and support to Shannen. I think when piper mentions (not in this episode) that "Dan, has their relationship on the fast track.. not me." it shows that the pace that Dan was moving too fast for Piper. He was trying to move her in his house, talking about babies, saying I love you on the first date. I don't think that's how Piper's attachment style works. Like its been under a year... Leo she chased. she missed him when he was gone. He understands who she is more. IF Dan's over romantic pushiness was so great she wouldn't still be thinking about Leo. Hence why she never needed a sign to show her where her heart lies, because if Leo hadn't left in S1 she would still be with him. #teamleo

I can’t wait till you get to season 3 and beyond where the podcasts will no longer focus on the Piper/Leo/Dan love triangle. Shannen and Alyssa and some of the guest stars bring so much to these shows but every podcast just boils down to who Piper liked more that particular episode and how that ends up effecting how Brian and Holly end up liking the episode. Like this episode, the comedic chemistry between Holly and Alyssa was exceptional but not discussed at all. I’ll keep watching these hoping that eventually you guys will surprise me and not spend 80% of the podcast talking about P/L/D.

Oh I love this episode even though not much happens. Prue is definitely in lust not falling in love which is why she says she trusts him. Sex and lust have clouded her judgement 💁🏻‍♀️😂😂 I think there’s some awesome classic sibling moments that make you laugh. Also this is the episode that you guys were filming when you did that doco “Women of Charmed”. I watched it on YouTube recently and Holly had me cracking up 🤣

The way Drew’s rating changes so drastically! Re Piper’s choice I think what happens is that her head finally catches up with her heart. After 28+ minutes we’ve got Leo might want his wings back one day and “Dan is still great and normal which is good considering I’m not.” I think Dan is everything she thinks she wants/should want. He’s everything about that normal life she ‘s always thought about. But Leo is Leo and that’s where her heart lies…and has done for like a whole season.

There are some fun scenes in this - particularly at the start with Piper and Phoebe, and that “I never needed a sign to tell me where my heart lies” ending but I’m with you some of the middle drags a bit. I do like Prue and Bane though! This podcast ep however, I was laughing out loud for much of the second half. You guys can always make me laugh so thank you! ❤️
