I really like the conservative option. I've just rotating to the front headlock. I see others use it with a huge motion, but it seems like it would be good to be conservative for people who don't have a judo background.

you don't want to lift them with your leg, you need to load them onto your hips and then just move them with your leg

This is one where I think I don't get enough lift with my kicking leg. I'm quite tall. And inflexible. I just don't have force or the ability to elevate the opponent.
