you have to change the world to a lan server and turn on cheats. Otherwise edit the world settings if possible

This might be necroposting, but if anyone sees this, I know how to help. Go into the pause screen then click "Open to LAN" Make sure to press Allow Cheats Then do "/gamemode @s survival" Then leave and rejoin Happy to help

i know this may seem obvious, but you guys have optifine installed right? Without it hardly any of Sean's modpacks will run. Also make sure you're on exact 1.12.2 not .1.12 when i accidentally used 1.12 forge didnt work because it was the wrong version.
