What? Chinese doctrine? What? Puppet NK? What? Where did you get "tested on living humans"? Modern era biochemical researches can and do without hoomans test subjects - it's cheaper to use grown tissues and simulations. Max doesn't care about lives, but he's fair and with honour based on what we know about him – obviously he would not give "faulty product", it's harder to make fraud than working product Why again China/NK? There is cold everywhere under mantle anywhere outside China/NK?) I can point dozens of places without google where by taking few km of crust will produce terrifying damage to Earth. Anyway, that's wild. P.S. Erryn world doesn't have oil, so US have no reason to democratify this planet

Uh, the MC should've probably remind ol' Max that Erryn's world is very young. he should already know that, but him saying that it's stagnant after only, what? Three hundred years? Is pretty dumb. All the inhabitants seem incredibly curious and driven to find new ways of doing stuff. I'm fundamentally opposed to any kind of mind control, but the argument for removing it should at least be fucking coherent. . There's no way that Max got done in by that type of explosion. The MC should've used lightning. It'd have had a better chance of disrupting whatever keeps the MC chained. . Hmm, it actually makes sense for Max to give them those rats. This seems like an attack based on Chinese doctrine or maybe their puppet NK. This means that the plague was likely tested on living humans. Meaning that Max couldn't just give them faulty garbage. He was likely aware of the dragons approximate capabilities, which would've kept the bio-attack suppressed until he reached the dungeon core. Once he reached the core, he would've been able to wipe out the plague-carriers if needed. A bit cynical, but he's not wrong. It would've been fine. They were told that the MC's present caused a volcanic eruption, which means that it was likely somewhere on the Chinese/NK border. There's an interesting geological formation there, which would allow for a relatively small volume of rock being removed, to cause a volcanic eruption. Otherwise there's just Iceland and Hawaii, since it's likely that they'd want to do it on an island, to contain the spread of a mammal-borne pathogen. It's also not entirely out of character for the US to use biological weapons to wipe out a threat like Erryn's world. Especially when they could just blame it on their enemies and nobody would be able to prove a goddamn thing. It'd explain the extreme hostility of their contact and the lack of information on where the attack came from. If they'd nuked one of the US's enemies, they would've been told, even if it'd resulted in a war. All of this makes a lot more sense, if we assume that the US was probing them for information, while preparing several methods to wipe them out. Maximillian also had access to all the information which had been learned during those trade-deals, even trivial stuff, which means that the attackers and the traders have to answer to the same government. . The MC needs to give Max control of the world, because they're likely going to be facing thermonuclear attacks, now that the biological vector has failed. Max can deconstruct the bombs, before they detonate, if given authority over the dungeon. He has to maintain the integrity of his mana-generation, which means that he'll prevent large-scale damage like that. The law is likely going to get yeeted from the dungeon core, but the system has a backup, which the MC can just reenable once Max has buggered off to wherever. I doubt Max would care enough to mess with the system, when all he needs for his experiment is in the dungeon. He'd likely just destroy the law in the dungeon, since he's here anyway and it's a minor eyesore to him.
