Without reading the original version, I also thinks this was too reckless and that even forgoing animals, he has a steady supply of potential, although unwilling, test subjects practically just around the corner.

Vorquel

Okay, the update is much better. Peter is still a dumb, but this isn't so dangerous for Cluma.

cathfach

He's like 40-something, mentally. There's a bit of an age gap. Or at least, he think's he's 40. Given his normal behaviour, one could argue that his maturity doesn't match the number of years of memories he holds.

Kevin Nilsson

U know u get pants legal at 15 years old in sweden. And no relationship at all with someone because they are below 18? Wat?

cathfach

Shoving his nose into [Item Box] to test if there's a vacuum in there is still pretty damn reckless, imho. :p But the problem isn't Peter's original recklessness, but that it was directed at Cluma. Risking other people in his silly experiments was out of character. He had to prove it was safe before trying it on Cluma.

Addanc

Hmm I don't know if I like the redo tbh, Peter is reckless always has been. You just removed the reckless lol

giom

Yeah he's not always the brightest bulb but he generally makes rational decisions. This reads out of character and way too reckless with the life of someone else which he wouldn't do.

cathfach

Yes, there's a discussion about that going on on discord atm. I intend to change it if I can come up with a better idea. (As I said in a comment last chapter, I'm not happy with this one. :( )

I really feel like she shouldn't have been the first living thing he tried this on. What if putting a living thing in [Item box] killed it? I imagine you're not killing Cluma at this point in the story but from his perspective, he has NO FUCKING CLUE what the possible side effects are. This is BEYOND irresponsible.

Vorquel

Where did he aim? Mr self-destructive isn't the brightest knife in the drawer.
