Alpha 6.1 - In For a Penny, In For a Pounding

With Alpha 6.0 and Chapter 3 successfully launched, it's time to start looking to the future. That future, incidentally, will be focusing on some of the existing content in the game. Before we get into the juicy bits, however, this is a good time to sit down and talk about the overall development philosophy of The Company!
*Cue collective groans*
Five Chapters
As most of you know, the intent is for The Company's main story to span five chapters. Chapters 1-3 are in the books, and the penultimate Chapter 4 is on the horizon. The current expectation is that Chapter 4 will be the game's longest, likely going through New Year's in-game! Chapter 5 will bring the main story to its conclusion, factoring in all the choices you made along the way and generating an epilogue based on those decisions.
We'll talk about what happens after Chapter 5 at a much later date!
The Pyramid of Progression
The problem with progressing content in a non-linear game with a linear story, is that you need to continue updating the foundation content (outward) before you can progress the main story content (upwards) too far. That is to say, any time we move forward with the story, we need to bring all the applicable tertiary content up to snuff as well. Otherwise, we end up frontloading all the optional content at the game and have a less substantial gameplay experience further down the line.
And so, this is why after every major story release, we take an update cycle or two to expand on existing content.
Bored Now, Get to the Point
Yes, yes...
Before moving into the 7.0 (Chapter 4) development cycle, I'm going to be expanded on existing content. The first piece of said content is something that at least a couple of you have been wanting for a long time now:
Penny and John.
Penny will be getting her existing content expanded, which of course means new conversations, random events, personal events and, yes, serum events. Additionally, we'll be looking at different ways you can interact with her outside the office, both on dates and at her apartment.
Of course, we can't talk about Penny without talking about John, specifically Dom John. Penny's dialogue and events will be getting a wide-scale once-over to reflect whether or not she's under John's control, and new events and interactions will open up accordingly. On top of that, Dom John's reign (get it? "Reign"?) of terror will be expanding to other coworkers as well.
The extremely tentative update cycle is currently looking like this:
- 6.1 - Penny's Update
- 6.2 - John's Dominant Update (Focus on Tasha, Julia, and Diana)
- 6.3 - Other Coworker Content Cleanup Update - This includes content expansion for Lauren!
- 6.4 - Ava and Dakota Serums Update
- 6.5 - ???
I don't want to linger of content expansion for "too" long, as Chapter 4 is definitely something that needs to be tackled. That said, I think everyone can definitely find something to look forward to in the near future. Also, yes, 6.4 will include an alternative dosing route for Ava.
That's it for now! I'll have more details to share as development progresses. Patrons can expect monthly "in-development" releases for the time being, while public releases can be expected for specific releases.

Good schedule. It would be nice if more paths contained TF NPC content, though I realize that's a lot harder with models.
Would you make one day a way to finish first chapter without Tory being under serum ?

Please oh Please let there be some scenes and corruption of Dr. K. If I don't get to dose and dominate that guy I'm going to be quite dissaopinted. I dont care if you do it at 6.5 and this IS your game but I would love it if you can confirm we will one day be able to control and fuck Dr. K as Dr. K that would be awesome.

PS: Turning assholes of the office / jocks/bullies / bad guys into loyal bitch boy twinks or muscle sluts and then into sissies and bimbos and slaves can give the end result some more ... serverity OR you can have that as an alternative path and have more impact with CHOSING wether John becomes Chanel OR Johny the twinkie everyone in the office uses.

I totally agree with both the patrons and I think it will be really satisfying if he doms you and your life first and then u get back at him and do the same if not even worse to him. And if I can comment on the sub John route is there anyway we can get some scenes with him as a man? It never really made sense to me that he'd service EVERYONE in the bathroom and let TASHA (his main rival) fuck him but not you "His good friend Jesse". (Though I may have not invested many love/realtionship/corruption points in him)

I totally agree and she kind of deserves at least a dom route possibility since she basically comes up with all the stuff that saves the player like 70% of the time AND we basically dont know much about her backstory so that might be easily implimented.

Could there be a more domme route for Penny, she has that domme scene at her home, but that could start to extend to the office as well, the domme assistant is extremely fun to play with.

wow , looking like a lot of tweaking is coming and some interesting stuff , 1 question can Sophie's relationship go over 70 as Penny's can ? and if so any hints on the unlock ? I have done a dew of day trips and dates ,went through the event in the HQ but since then I don't see much "action" after that (ie going to her house etc as you can penny's ) lol .. again it looks like you have things well in hand and looking forward to it

Neat, nice to see the future plans laid out. Definitely cool to see the Dom John route expanded a bit. Although if I'm being honest, I'd like to see a couple more steps in the Chanel route between Dom John > Sub John > Total Bimbo Female Chanel. I suppose some people like the immediate male > female transition, I personally would like a few more steps in the middle (CDing in the office, etc) One other thing that I was curious about, are there any plans to add the ability to go home with other co-workers like you can with Penny at the end of the day? My personal vote is to go home with Tasha. *Edit: I just saw that you addressed alternate dosing options with John above, so nevermind that bit.*

anything, please have John get his comeuppance. I find him to be even more deplorable than Dr. K. K is interested in science and what it can give him in the way of wealth and power. He doesn't care who he hurts as long as he gets what he wants. John is just an asshole who wants more pussy and doesn't care who he hurts. It's a value judgment, but I feel even perverted science has more positive attributes than just being a total douche for no reason other than general douche-iness.

The Dakota thing might work well, too if the player is already wearing the collar originally meant for Ava. I haven't played a submissive path in a while. It may be time to re-visit it.

It is unfortunate that there seems to be only one path for Ava. Even after Sophie brings her to the lab, there seems to be only further degradation. i would love to see in some way, the PC actually do something responsible with Ava, She is his/her mother after all. Unless you use the MCS-X serum on Dakota, she keeps all her faculties and can even gain some dominance. I have even thought as a karmic balance, a curious puppyslut Dakota might find a vial of MCS-X in the (submissive) players room and dose her (works best with a female) give a coiple of well-timed "yips" and the player can be carrying puppies too. The difference being the player keeps her wits so she can continue the story, so it may be an improved version, a MCS-X2, if you will.

This will occur, but in a more subtle way than "You've been dosed!". It'll be more story based, and not an actual game mechanic.
Are there any plans for alternate dosing with John? While I'm looking forward to dom John content it kinda sucks that the only real male character in the game you either doms everyone and hinders your progress, especially with having Penny help you in the lab or turn him into a woman. I don't really count Chris cause he shows up much later in the story, doesn't have much content and is kinda boring.

Thinking about Dom John's interactions with the MC, would it be possible to have special events where he doses the player? Also, maybe as your serum making capacity becomes better, he uses the higher level serums as well.

What about Dom John's interactions with, well, the player? Or has that been added in already at some point when I wasn't looking? I always found it really odd that he gets very mean and starts fucking Penny and, occasionally, Penny will fuck the player, but that there was very little content between John and the player themself.

I would love to see some kind of Ava route where she forcefully tries to dress you as a girl lock you in chastity and removes your man clothes.. perhaps even locks closet idk. But yes i’d love too see a full fledged forced genderswap from mommy who wants another sweet daughter... nyah xD i know this requires work but i also know the game can do this. We have seen locked items as chastity we have seen forced clothing changes from penny’s clumsyness. Etc please make this a thing in the future
