5.3 - Impending Maintenance Update
🕑 Added 2018-06-13 07:01:00 +0000 UTC Greetings everyone!So, due to some recent events I haven't had as much time to work on the 5.3's content as I'd like. Firstly, regarding said events, everything went great and thank you all for your well wishes! What this time has afforded me, however, was a chance to look over the flood of issue reports from both the public and pre-alpha builds of the game.
While none of the issues have been game breaking, per sé, they're not things I'm particularly happy about having in the wild, either. The problem is that these issues are difficult to hotfix, as I'm already deep into development for the next update and don't want to go back and duplicate work.
So, what am I to do?
Maintenance Update 5.3.1
This weekend, I'll be releasing a maintenance update to backers. A few days of vetting after that, I'll be making the release public as well!
5.3.1 will include a few new features that have made their way into pre-alpha, notably:
- New conversation system applied to Ava and Dakota
- New exploration system applied to Ava and Dakota's rooms
- New hair growth and hair cutting system
- New paper-doll additions
- Balance adjustments to the transformation system
- Ability to lock your gender at any time if you choose to play without forced TF
- Disabling forced TF now affects Sissy and Bimbo as well
Mostly, though, this update is just dozens and dozens of fixes. Once this update releases, it's straight back into content work for what will be released as update 5.3.2, including everything else scheduled for the 5.3 update. 5.3.2 is still slated to release towards the end of the month, if not very early July.
Front Page Refresh
For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, the front page of The Company's patreon has been refreshed! You'll find links to the most current release, frequently asked questions, and a list of all current cheats in the game!
That's about it for this week. I'll have detailed 5.3.1 notes posted either Thursday or Friday with the update itself likely landing Saturday morning. As is tradition, expect your 5.3.0 saves to break horribly. Now that things have settled down for me again, I can happily dive back into writing content!
