Updated Roadmap
🕑 Added 2018-04-25 07:00:00 +0000 UTC Greetings everyone!There's been a lot of movement lately, as well as a lot more people following the project, so I thought this would be a great time to revisit (and refine) the project roadmap. You'll notice some changes since last time, but for now let's just jump right in!
Alpha 5.2d - Released
- Released as 5.2.38
- Addition of Diana's interactive event
- Addition of Dominance system
- Addition of Birth Control and Intro Skip
Alpha 5.2e - In Pre Alpha - ETA Very Early May
- Expansion of John's introductory events
- Expansion of Chanel's dynamic events
Alpha 5.2f - ETA Late May
- Modify Tasha's events slightly to accommodate her character change
- Add new outside-the-office dynamic events for Tasha
Alpha 5.3 - ETA Late June
- Implement new gender transformation system
- Clean up and improve current image system
- Add user submitted events
- Update existing content functionality as needed
Alpha 5.4 - No ETA
- Add Sophie's content to Chapter 1 and 2
Alpha 6.0 - No ETA
- Add Chapter 3
Exciting, right? There's some things I want to touch on in more detail, starting with the remainder of the 5.2 update cycle.
No More Interactive Events in 5.2
Those who saw the last iteration of the roadmap will notice that I've removed the listings for interactive events in 5.2e and 5.2f. There are two primary reasons for this. The first simple - they take a really long time to make. Writing interactive events (IE's) is a considerable time investment, not only in creating the large number of variable actions in them, but also in ironing out the interplay between them. That alone wouldn't be enough of a reason to delay them, if not also for the fact that the characters in question simply aren't ready for them yet.
John and Tasha both require more progression in their stories before their IE's would make sense. Getting them to that point would require a dedicated content patch which is outside the scope of this phase of development. Also Sophie won that vote!
Estimated Time of Estimation
I always hate giving ETA's on release dates because I either miss them completely, or finish way ahead of schedule and feel silly. I'll say these should be taken with a big grain of salt. I'm being a little generous on all of them, and it's entirely possible you'll see these updates released much sooner than expected. Either way, I'll be keeping everyone updated along the way!
The 5.3 Maintenance Patch
I'm using 5.3 as a bit of a mechanical catch-up patch. This is where I'll be retooling the transformation, adding events submitted by $20 patrons, cleaning up images and image packs, and generally tending to any outlying issues.
My hope is that 5.3 will be the last update for a while where I'm dicking around with any systems or mechanics. This way I can focus 100% on writing when it comes time for...
Sophie's Updates!
I've decided to split Sophie's new content and Chapter 3 into their own updates for the sake of "actually getting content out". There are actually several areas in Chapter 1 and 2 where it's intended that you be able to interact with Sophie both in and out of the office. 5.4 will also include new serum events for Sophie which will work a little different than with other characters. More details on that in the future!
Chapter 3 will make the transition into Alpha 6.0, and yes, we should really be on Alpha 2.0 right now moving into 3.0 but I don't know WTF happened so here we are! The chapter itself is nearly finished being written and will drive the story well into November! You'll meet new characters and get a much closer look at The Company and I really can't wait to get it into the game!

Not that redundant. The first route makes you submissive, but the later doses allow you to gain dominance over her.

How do I administer the 2nd Dose to Ms. Dee. Is it not implemented yet? I never mangae to dose her more than once. :-(
Will Diana's Serum options change after the first one? Because if you played through the interactive scenes multiple times and then give the second serum so that she wants to have sex. It's a bit redundant.

The info's buried in an old (oooold) post so it might be time to dig it up again. Artwork is being developed parallel to the rest of the game. I won't be implementing it until the artwork is completely complete. If I had to put an ETA on that I'd probably say towards the end of the year, but I really don't have one yet. Basically, yeah, waiting for it to be done before I add it into the game. The code's there to support it already, though! Art is coming along really well! I wasn't able to get a preview together for today but expect to see the paper-doll system in action next week, as well as $15 tier previews on Friday.
Westane, I don't see the art update on this current roadmap. Does that mean that it's been scrapped, or just that you'd prefer to get it into a completed state before trying to go back and rip out the guts so to speak?
