5.2 - Development Update
🕑 Added 2018-01-28 23:17:57 +0000 UTC Alright... So before this Saturday, 5.2 was, like, 99% coming out this Wednesday... then THIS happened.For those who don't know (everyone) I work as one of two Systems Administrators on a team of 8 total technicians servicing an organization with ~1200 endpoints. I could rant all day about how many things are wrong with the logistics and management there, but, I'll save it for the new Discord server.
Anyway, Saturday morning, MalwareBytes issued a patch to its endpoints which basically bricked about 1200 workstations.
Guess who's been called in to fix it?
So basically, this weekend (and probably Monday and Tuesday) have been shot to Hell. As a result, wait for it, 5.2 is getting delayed.
I know... excuses...
With that said, I'm announcing a hard release date of February 7th for 5.2. Despite these things being out of my control, I really want to apologize for the delay.
