5.1 in Review, and Looking Ahead
🕑 Added 2017-11-29 07:00:01 +0000 UTC 5.1 is out in the Wild!It took a while, but 5.1 finally did get released. The start was a little rocky, but it usually is. Fixing one problem spawned two more, but eventually everything more or less got sorted. I just wanted to thank every again for bearing with me during its development and its recent release. I hope it was worth the wait!
Dakota's content was a lot of fun to write, and it sounds like people are enjoying it. Yes, the MCS-X content could get a touch dark, but this is a game based on Wandrer's works, after all!
The Endless Stuggle
The biggest challenge coming off of this patch is finding the right balance when it comes to player transformation. Everyone who played the initial release wave of 5.1 knows how much of an, um, adventure that was, but with 5.1.6 I believe we're settled on something serviceable for now. It's not perfect, and it's something I'll be tweaking constantly over time based on player feedback and my own testing, and this release actually went a very long way in helping define the "rules" of the system.
Going forward, I'll be expanding on the system's subtleties, and will be looking for ways to help make things more clear to the player where it makes sense. New content will also add new elements to the system, including means to track towards (or even jump into) different transformations. For now, it's a never-ending quest for balance.
It's Time to Start Talking about 5.2
As the dust settles from 5.1's release, it's time to start looking ahead to the next content update. Since every character will be getting their own focused update, I've opted to leave the decision of who that focus should be on to all of you! This poll will open on Monday, December 4th and run to the following Monday, December 11th, with results posted on Wednesday, December 13th.
So, who should you vote for? Here's a small preview...
- Mom - Finish Ava's serum path, culminated in potential activity with Dakota provided you've dosed her accordingly as well. This will also unlock Dakota's final serum option. Her update will open not only her room up to exploration, but the rest of the house as well. Her MCS-X event will see her fall even deeper into her own lust, awoken by your earlier serum suggestions.
- Penny - Penny's serum path is complete for now, since further doses are contingent on story events moving into Chapter 3. Instead, you'll see her existing serum content expanded, as well as her interactions outside of the office. Her update will include opening the lab up to exploration, and the intent is to add her apartment as a new travel location.
- Diana - Diana's serum path is also halted until Chapter 3, however she'll have plenty to say when it comes to your descent into a bimbo/sissy sub. If you've been itching for forced feminization, sissification and bimbofication, you'll find it here, as well as in her newly-explorable records office.
- Tasha - See the continuation and conclusion of Tasha's serum path, as well as gaining the ability to explore her sales office. Tasha's content will be expanded to make her a "romance" option much like Penny, however her interactions will be quite different. While Penny has your best interests in mind for the most post, Tasha will take the role of the oblivious dom. Don't be surprised if you end up bound, gagged, and fucked when you're with Tasha because "It's like, super fun!"
- Chris - Chris will get additional evening content, progressing his story with the player and making the bar and Chris' apartment unlockable locations to visit. Pursuing a relationship with Chris will trigger a feminine transformation in Male characters and a masculine one in Female characters. Visiting the bar without Chris will also open up its own opportunities for events.
- John (Sub) - I know, I'm going against what I said earlier about John's update being all-encompassing, but there's a lot to cover. My plan is to have John's path branch before the TFM-1 transforms him, and allow the player the option of if/how he transforms. Options will be added to turn John into a sissy or a shemale, and possibly a bimbo, in addition to a female. John's serum path effectively ends at this branch, so the majority of content here will be how (s)he interacts with other co-workers, as well as out-of-office events.
- John (Dom) - John's path of destruction continues as he moves on to the rest of your coworkers, all the way into your household, and eventually becomes your master. Playing through this route will culminate in you becoming the transformed bottom bitch of John's new harem. Going this route will lock off a fair amount of interactions with other characters in the game.
Julia will be left off the poll, as I have other plans for her regarding what I'm hoping will be 5.2's main new mechanics feature!
The intention is that whichever character wins the poll will receive their own conversation options and room/exploration options, new random events, and at least one MCS-X event. Regardless of who wins, there will be the usual updates to the game's main systems where needed, expansions, and any other minor or neutral content I can throw in. I'll have more to share on that aforementioned new mechanic after development starts, but it's something designed to add longevity to the game, even after the existing story content has finished.
With all that in mind, I'm excited to see how the polls turn out, and $10+ patrons can look forward to the new influx of pre-alpha builds. Once again, that poll will be up next Monday. Until then!

Yeah, and Diana is a really intriguing character, she has way too much knowledge of everyone in the organisation. If she cut loose and made the PC her loyal sissy pet, she could use his skills to take over. It would be the opposite of the impending John chain, where the PC is the top slave to Diana and all of the other NPCs are beneath that. Oh shit, now I really want that to happen.

Dakota's major content push is done, but I'll be adding more content to her when and where it makes sense going forward. Currently, I don't have plans for her to be involved much with the end of the story, but that could always change. All characters will continue to receive minor tweaks and updates over the course of development.
i have a question are you planing on expanding dakota's events and chosen ending down the road as we get closer to end game (this also attaches to other characters as well) or are you officially done with her?
chris is an exstention into the outside world i think he will be one of the last characters to be fully implemented.

I'm not usually into playing the sub role, but your explanation of Tasha's path is definitely intriguing. Based on the blurbs above, it'll be a tough call between her and Mom.
I'm interested in Penny, Ava, Diana or Chris. Chris really needs more content.

Oooh, I'm torn between wanting more of Tasha and Mom (and by extension, Dakota); both sound like such a great idea. Diana's also a pretty close third.

Yeah, I'm torn between mum and Tasha. The idea of the PC having to deal with a mum he programmed to only orgasm when she's in contact with him suddenly being dominant (if they go sub) and using the PC like her personal fuck toy would be the best sort of comeuppance. Dommie Mommy best mommy. There's also something magical about the concept of the PC having to kneel there with his mouth hard at work on his mum if he joins the girls to watch TV in the evening. Plus once mum is done the PC doesn't get to stop, because now it's Dakota's turn.

I agree that the NPCs turning tables on the PC, especially if they are, let¨'s say, reluctant to grab the opportunity, would be great. I loved John's failed dosing attempt that basically locks PC in the sub role. The chance of success could be dependent on PC's stats, for example, so after a certain point while sliding into more submissive state of mind, it would be really hard to actually dose someone successfully. :)

Tasha dom. It's a dream come true! Is there potential for NPCs to turn the tables a little and dose the PC to lock them into a gender state, or enforce submission or devotion? The failed John dose was pretty cool, a situation where one of the office women doses the PC to prevent him from dosing her further and to enforce his loyalty and submission would be really cool. She could even dose the PC to allow her to dose him further. Flipping the whole path on its head. Also: A sugar daddy John would be pretty cool, or a shemale sugar daddy Chanel. Also: Patreon's feedback system is terrible.
For the transformation you can have interactions dictate fem\maninization wile the tfm-1 drug be for actual changes. It would give an actual use for the drug besides John while promoting exspementation at the same time.
