Onward to Chapter 2!
🕑 Added 2017-09-06 17:36:18 +0000 UTC New Release on the Horizon:The release of Alpha 0.4.8 last night marks what I intend to be the final incremental update before Alpha 0.5.0 is done. I was hoping to have the Chapter 2 update finished sooner, but realistically it probably won't be done until later next weekend. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait to everyone!
Chapter 2 and Beyond:
While you patrons have seen the bulk of the mechanical updates I've been working on (0.4.8 public release on 9/12), the next update will focus primarily on progressing the game's main story line. This will bring underutilized characters into the spotlight, namely Sophie and Julia, as well as giving established characters even more to do. While Chapter 1 took place over the course of a single week, Chapter 2 will unfold over two weeks, with even more dialogue. At its conclusion, you'll unlock more social options, new office dynamics, and a new tier of serum to create.
The conclusion of Chapter 2 effectively marks the halfway point of the game's story, as the third and final chapter will take place over nearly the entire month of October, and be at least as large as Chapter 1 and 2 combined. Chapter 3 will end one week before the game's prologue, illuminating the shadowing meeting seen at that point. The ending will change based on which characters you decided to spend time interacting with, and the intent is to have one primary ending per character with variations based on your other interactions.
Let's Talk About you and John (And Penny):
I'm still surprised at how much people talk about John, I never expected him to be the most interesting character! I'm going to touch on a little of everything so, bear with me here.
John's sub route is the least complex, as he effectively breaks down into another one of the girls. 0.4.5 greatly expanded on what goes into that transformation, but for all intents and purposes it's an "easy" route. Firstly, I do plan on extending it moving forward. There will be a few dosing options if you decide you want to take John a little further, I'm not just leaving it at "You're a girl now kthxbai!" Second, yes, there's going to be reactionary content added during the transformation. One of the major initiatives for the post 0.5.0 incremental updates is going to be adding reactions and modifying scenes during and after transformations for both John and the Player Character.
I know that gets brought up a lot, and it's coming, but it won't be in 0.5.0. This leads me into the next point: Player transformation is going to be one-way. Yes, a soon-to-be-gone bullet point of The Company was fluid gender change, however going forward, any player transformations are going to be one way. As a male, you can be feminized and potentially turns into a full female. As a female, the end of the road has you rockin' a she-cock. With this change comes more manageable transformation milestones which, again, ties into reactionary scenes.
Now on to John's dom route, wherein you submit to him! While this is no longer a "bad end" it's still not going to be a "good time". John's dom route will tie heavily into Penny's route, even going so far as to impede it. If you want to submit to John, you're going to pay for it, literally in some instances. His route will also function a little differently, as progressing through it will involve various actions on the player's part. These won't be hidden by any means, but it won't be as simple as "Bring John another beer!" Going further down this path will have major impacts on you, your coworkers (especially Penny), your family, and the ending you get. Hope you like NTR!

Thanks, you actually reminded me that I forgot to touch on something. The thing with John is that you're "supposed" to kind of hate him, that's his whole schtick, and if you want to go down that route then his behavior is only going to get worse and worse. If you're not into that, that's where Chris comes into play. He'll provide an alternative route for player character feminization, one that's much less obnixious than John's.
Sounds fun. I love the idea of Johns sub route but I absolutely hate the first trigger for it. I wish the player could be dosed or something before getting on your knees for John.
