Alpha 0.29 - What's New? (Slight Delay)
🕑 Added 2020-07-10 12:43:13 +0000 UTCHi,
First things first, I have to ask that we delay the Alpha 0.29 2 Week Early Access release by 2 days. Originally, it was going to come out tonight but we have a few scenes left to code in that we want to have in this update.
This will also mean that all the other release dates are moved back by 2 days and the releases will be:
-2 Week Early Access - 12 July
-1 Week Early Access - 19 July
-3 Day Early Access - 23 July
-All Patron 0.29 Release/ Public 0.28 Release - 26 July
I also want to touch on what to expect in this update and what we plan for 0.30. Alpha 0.29 has had a lot of under the hood stuff done such as the Steam review preparations and having the Main Story Outline completed.
Although the outline is complete, it doesn't immediately result in more content for this update. We wanted to render out most of the temporary scenes that are in the game so far so that we aren't continuously backlogged with temporary sketches and end up with a game that is 50% sketches.
We do however have a backlog of new Main Story content written out and ready to be added in Alpha 0.30 and much more. That will come out in October in line with Steam's first release. Even though we did want to stick with the 'every 2 month' schedule, this will be the exception because it won't make sense to release 0.30 in September and the again for Steam in October or have a 0.31 in October.
We apologies for the inconvenience for anyone who was looking forward to being able to check the new update out over the weekend.
We hope everyone stays safe and strong. Love you all.

Okay, so delayed slightly more? July 12 is almost over.

I know it's a dollar, but i feel like having details of when the game actually is coming out trapped behind a pay wall is a bit unnecessary. I mean you release the initial release date for free, so i'm just feeling that you could have just told us. idk, you make good work, but you do you i guess.
