Alpha 0.28 - What's New?
🕑 Added 2020-04-20 06:58:58 +0000 UTCHey, ya'll.
I hope everyone is staying safe, washing hands, and all that jazz. I just wanted to make an update on the development of A Town Uncovered.
I know I have not been frequently posting updates as I used to and that's mainly for not having anything new to add and say about what we're doing. We're still working on art, we're still working on writing, and coding it all together. Alpha 0.28 will especially focus on getting up to date on the art assets as you've obviously noticed all the temporary sketches that's been taking over the game.
This is also the reason why I have not been posting any H-scene polls for 0.28, I need the time just making the art that's been long overdue and I don't want to be falling further behind on that.
In terms of new content, we do have more Principal Lashley material written and that will be added in this update as well. The length of her story is something I want to touch upon. I've mentioned this in the past but I'll bring it up again, as we develop more character stories, their side story length will shorten.
So for the first three characters; Missus, Jane, and Miss Allaway, we've written approximately 50 scenes for them (give or take). The next three characters will have approximately 35 scenes; Principal Lashley, Character #5, Character #6. The next four characters after that will include 20 scenes, and we will see how we go from there.
We would love to include a lengthy, fleshed out side story for everyone but that's just not at all realistic and possible.
Lastly, I wanna say, my drawing tablet has fucked me over and decided to crap out on me since last week. It took me a while to get it fixed since no matter how I tried resetting it or reinstalling windows, it kept blue screening in the middle of the process. It worked for a few days but as I'm typing this, it's not even starting up anymore, so I'll have to end up buying a new tablet. Luckily I managed to get all the important Photoshop files off it before it descended into the depths of hell.
With that being said, 0.28 may be a little delayed as well. I hope you can understand
The release schedule will be:
2 Week Early Access - May 10th
1 Week Early Access - May 17th
3 Day Early Access - May 21st
$3+ Patron (0.28) - May 24th
Public (0.27) - May 24th
Thanks for the continued support and patience, stay indoors, go out only when you need to, social distance, and don't think the virus cares about whether you're bored or not. It's not just about yourself, it's about the people in your lives.

I know that shit happens and i'm not upset about the game being delayed, but maybe you should add the new release date information in a free post so people know that they game isn't going to be ready yet.
Is the principal lashley glitch getting fixed next patch?
