Alpha 0.04 - Community Contribution
🕑 Added 2017-02-05 09:14:07 +0000 UTC Alrighty perverts. Time to discuss what is going to be worked on next and what will be main focus. I always value your guys' opinions on where to take this project. For Alpha 0.04, I'm thinking to focus on getting the skills feature implemented. The skills stats are intelligence, stamina, strength, luck, and charisma.
Activities to increase such stats will include respectively, studying in class, jogging laps around the park, a fight club in the school gym at night, a luck-based card game in the backroom of the comic book store, and dancing on the dancefloor at the club. The total amount of skill points per skill is 20.
Each activity will have 3 options for example, with the fight club thing, you will have the option to fight a lightweight, a middleweight, and a heavyweight. You will earn 1, 2, or 3 skill points depending on the option but the bigger the reward, the bigger chance of failure. When you fail, you will lose skill points but not as many as you would earn if you succeeded.
Furthermore, When you reach a certain amount of skill points, the chances of failing at the bigger rewards decreases, so it gets easier the more you do it.
Additionally to the skills, I'll try to implement the bag gui which will hold your inventory and money. Basically, after this update, I would want all of the game's core elements functional for better main story and side story progression.
If you have an suggestions or feedback on how the skills feature work as well as suggestions of what activities may be better/more interesting to increase a skill, please share it! I'll also be taking any suggestions for characters/story and what you'd like to see in Alpha 0.05 just so I know ahead of time.

I'll introduce more characters in 0.05 most definitely :) A guaranteed character is one who will go by Hitomi and you'll first meet her in the comic book store, Hendai's.

I think the stats are interesting, I would like to see where you go with it. As far as content .05, maybe you should make a few new characters? Your world seems kind of empty right now.
