Yeah, Kiba's story is wrapped up far too neatly and I always thought that it should have been brought back down the line, but the plot really didn't allow for it. I suppose that's what the Tosca stuff was sort of supposed to do. As for Akeno, I'll be honest and say that I'd find her quite off-putting if she wasn't one of the hottest things ever drawn.

It's always been my issue with DxD that they have these dark back stories that they kind of...anime wash? Not all anime does that but DXD is pretty guilty of it. Kiba's back story is horrific and it's never truly given it's due. Also a reminder that Akeno is a full on sadomasochist canonically. Those types of people are absolutely terrifying and not someone you'd want to run in to in a dark alley and yet it's treated as a silly little quirk. Eh I mean it's entertainment I guess I just always found it a tad off putting.
