Ravyn Alexa for Into the Wild
🕑 Added 2019-05-28 21:29:26 +0000 UTCI've learned to look up. Half way through my shoot with Ravyn out of the corner of my eye I saw some blue jays dive bombing a tree not far from us. Following their flights I saw that they were attacking an owl chasing it from tree to tree. Its amazing how ferocious even tiny birds are when defending their nests.
Nearly abandoning our shoot my roommate looked at me like "you better not follow those birds into the woods and leave me here we are working." So we finished up and then hiked further in until I found the Barred Owl by following the squawks of the Jay's.
Our shoot now over Ravyn was kind enough to hustle back to where we had left our gear, and grab my 70-200mm lens so I could have a mini owl shoots.
