Nicole Vaunt, Freshie Juice and Porcelain for Temperance

Some months it seems like every body gets the itch to travel and shoot the exact same day. I used to get a little overwhelmed planning all of this shooting, but I've learned to just roll with it. Having a lot of people to collaborate and input ideas is definitely not a negative, so when Porcelain, Nicole, and Freshie all happened to be in Philly around the same time I figured we could make something amazing happen.
The first day of shooting was a solid 6 hours closed off in the Temperance room. I started shooting the solo images of Freshie. Moving furniture, adjusting mirrors, and lights to capture the images just right. Unlike most studio settings to really adjust perspective I have to move the entire set around. Dressers, mirrors, beds, lights its chaotic, but its all for that moment where it comes together just right...something beautiful and new.
Much after that is sort of a blur. Porcelain came up and shot with Freshie, Freshie departed, I shot Porcelain by herself, Nicole came home and got ready, and I photographed Nicole and Porcelain together.
Its amazing how talented and dynamic all three of them are in front of the camera. How expressions and posing changes with a different model. If anything Temperance is a testament to how talented many of the models I get to work with are. Posing in front of a camera is hard. Posing in front of 6 mirrors all angled differently, and being shot between is ridiculous.
I am left constantly blown away by how lucky I am to have such amazing collaborators.
These were all shot with the Sigma 85mm F1.4, which at this point basically never leaves my camera.

To add to what you said above - Posing in ways that are this personal and vulnerable is very difficult for models even without the 6 mirrors, lights and the guy with the camera. I've said this a dozen times, but once more, Thank You for showing that Erotica can be fine art if you take the time and effort to make it so. I am shooting some boudoir and art nude with Nicole later this month and I am excited and nervous - Usually my best work comes when I feel this way though. I am such a huge fan of both of your work, especially when you work together, I feel like the bar is set pretty high. She's a bucket list shoot for me and I will do my best to do her justice with my photos and I am sure she will do everything she can to help me be successful too. After seeing this and several other recent photosets of Porcelain, shooting her has hit my bucket list as well. Again - Thanks for proving that just because a photo is sexual in nature, that doesn't mean it isn't art.
