New Goals, New Rewards, New Adventures
🕑 Added 2016-02-19 21:16:26 +0000 UTCLittle bit of a life update! But in just two weeks Nicole and I will be leaving home for a couple months to work on We Were Wanderers. Aside from Mexico we haven't done a trip for the book in a while and its been hard.
We Were Wanderers is the project I am the most passionate about, but I haven't really been able to work on it. The storm in North Dakota I posted photos of a few weeks ago actually destroyed my car. We managed to get home, but the Impala, that we've been traveling in since the car accident in South Dakota that claimed my Saturn, is finally toast. After electrical fires, computer problems, and 90,000 miles of trouble the rain managed make the cost of repairing the thing insane.
So I stayed home for most of the winter and focused on Temperance, while I saved up to put a down payment on a new vehicle for us to get back out their to create. I'm sure you've noticed I've thought a lot about the future of Temperance, whether or not I want to keep doing it after this year, but I am really really excited about the photos I've managed to create for the series lately, and I want to take the momentum and run with it.
My goal is to lay out and release the first edition of Temperance as a book this year, so I've made a new goal on Patreon to that effect, and added two new reward tiers so that you can get a copy of the book when I finish it.
You only need to pledge at either of these tiers for one month, and I will save all your info and get the book out to when it is finished.
I hope you all are close to as excited about the future of these projects as I am. Last year thanks to Patreon I was able to create more art than I have ever been able to do. Over 100 images for The Jungle, over 200 for The Rising Lands, We Were Wanderers and Into the Wild, and over 600 images for Temperance. Everyday I struggle with wrapping my head around what you all have done for me and my work, so thank you. I just hope you all are getting as much out of these posts as I do creating them.
