I have a synthesis for vanillylamine. The moment I get that I can do it. The issue is that I need zieconium chloride. I have the chemicals to make that, namely ccl4 and zirconium dioxide. The issue is that the reaction of the two will make phosgene. I have never worked with it before snd dont feel safe enough doing it
Did you manage to get any further on synthesising capsaicin?
