I'm just saying that there is plenty of time for that to happen still. Although... I do think the story will all be on Earth. Wasn't it said early on that physically moving between planets is expensive and can't happen without the system, which is why this isn't a real invasion but clones of the robots spawning on Earth? Space travel also seems unlikely based on what the Avatar lady and colony guy trapped in their ship said.

Huh? How is that bullet dodged? It took 7 books to get about a year into the assimilation. Earth should be locked down for 110 more years, more or less. This, to me, basically confirms that the entire series is gonna just be on Earth. We'll see, I guess…

No need to worry. We still have plenty of time if there are at least 100 chapters left. Bullet dodged. That's still the length of 3 standard fantasy books, 33% of the amount Jace already posted, and 34 weeks of chapters. Hoo-ray!

Hm, I didn't expect we'd be so close to the end already. Don't know how to feel about it, since I don't know the plans. Unless there's gonna be some massive time jumps, will we even have any adventures in the wider universe? That's the thing I was looking forward to the most.

We're more than 2/3rds of the way through Unchosen Champion, so relatively close. I'd bet on it taking more than 100 chapters before we get there, though

That's what I wondered from the message as well. Do you have a planned end of the series? Is it close or vaguely in the distance? I also commiserate with the back injury. I crippled my back at the end of high school years ago and it had a debilitating affect since. I hope yours is recoverable from.
