Yes. She physically enters

Dang autocorrect. Meant... about the enhanced internal storage. ... is she really in it such that...

Ermine Todd III

I'm really curious about the fine Sinai storage. Specifically, when she is "in", it's she really in it ch that outside viewers would see her disappear? Does this give her an absolute safe space like being inside a dungeon instance?

At this point, it seems like the Accords, the Council and the System are a Joke when it comes to stopping people from doing evil things. You want to help out people on a low tier world not die? Better check what you do, they are all watching and will come for you if you overstep being nice. You want to Snatch people off the planet and experiment on them? No problem. Give them impossible "Choices" they can't refuse. Good to go. Throw people in Challenge Dungeons? As long as One in a Million people could survive they "Technically" have a chance and that's OK. Kidnapping people off the street is fine apparently. At least the Elf in the beginning of the story had the lame excuse of I gave them an Inventory and a chance to go to the Special Dungeon as an excuse for "Payment" for what he did. The Assassin kidnapped Emie, if the changes are made like the Author says, will have also Kidnapped Emie's sister both of whom are lower Teir than Him, He'll have robbed Emie and attempted to Murder her, and no one gets any consequences.

That elf councilor founded the guild that hates all time mages and anyone else that might challenge the superiority of elven longevity. (And maybe general supremacy propaganda). Plus the assassin was an elf. Even though he wasn't a part of her guild, no power hungry corrupt politician is going to miss having someone like that in the pocket.

Thanks for the chapter!

... okay but it's still a terrible experience for the reader, which is more important than that. We got a handful of chapters of bumming around with family before suddenly being right back in essentially the same environment we'd had for a whole book. Also she was being supposedly protected by another tier-ten time mage, so it would have really upped my opinion of Kai a good bit to see the assassin fail a couple times. As it stands he kinda looks like a chump. Like they all *knew* she was being targeted, so the fact that the assassin succeeded on his first real attempt makes everyone involved in trying to keep her from getting merc'd look absolutely useless. It's bad enough that there just happens to be a pinnacle assassin of the exact right affinity who just happens to have been in debt to the council woman who just happens to have the most bizzare hate boner for humans with time magic and also an entire guild that also has that exact same extremely specific hatred. And that she was also willing to test the boundaries of the Accords by siccing said assassin on Emie... which she also got away with because there apparently are no rules if you're ready to ascend. At the VERY LEAST we could see him not succeed the first time. Especially if we're going with the whole "he was just a tool of the real villain, who we also can't see punished in any meaningful way ever because she ascended to avoid the consequences of her actions."

Love to read more on Enchanting/crafting/mastery, Adventurers Guild and Family time🎉. I really would like to see Emie making Amie’s awakening ceremony. Maybe add Anya foreshadowing Justin’s fate?

I think you should stick with it. The suddenness of her abduction feels real to how violence often is. An assassin that you don't see coming is the RIGHT way for an assassin to work.
