A not-so-small talk and poll about speedpaints
🕑 Added 2020-12-12 19:56:45 +0000 UTCTLDR: I'm planning to make changes regarding the speedpaints since it made things a bit more difficult than i expected so here are some of the options to solve that and i would like to hear what you think about it.
- Keep things the same with very high chances of having delay in the videos.
- Only record and post the 4 drawings regarding the poll rewards and only record the monthly sketches upon request of the patron.
- Change the speedpaints for something like "Art Packs" where i would send the patrons a link with a folder/rar file that contains all the art i did in the month not only rewards, of course in the highest quality possible.
- Other, please comment what would you like to see (No livestreams or discord server at least for now, more info below).
No matter the results i will post all the speedpaints i have recorded already and they will be always available.

I'm so sorry for flooding you with so many polls but i'm reeally interested in your opinion and feedback regarding my patreon service and pools so far seems to be the easier way for us to interact.
It's not been too long since i started this project and the delay regarding speepaints appeared way sooner that i would have liked, i mean we're already in december and i'm still not done editing november's videos of course it's mostly my fault due bad planning but also things turned out to be even more difficult since i can barely use my laptop while rendering and usually speedpaints have to be rendered twice to not be like 3 hours long, keep in mind that atm i have to do that process 8 times (4 monthly sketches and 4 for the poll results).
Plus i must admit that having to record my screen while drawing is a bit more stressful since i feel like i cannot take breaks or distract to not make too many video files and while that's good for productivity, make thins much more tiring (?) i don't know how many of the patreons actually are interested in the drawing process.
So, i'm trying to think about ways to change the speedpaint system to avoid delaying those videos more or remove them completely and replace them with something else mostly because i don't want the 5$ to be affected since the 10$ tier already has the monthly sketches.
About the discord server, as fun as the idea sounds at times i'm very bad at casual DMming and i don't want to give a bad impression not answering message or not being very active in the chat plus i get overwheilmed quite easily in group chats, as for streaming my drawing and overall all my schedules are all over the place sometimes working even around 3 AM so it can be hard to find a time for me to stream in reasonable hours, i get quite nervous drawing while other are watching and i'm still not comfortable enough to turn on the mic on in here so all the streams would be music only which i don't think is very entertaining.
