The fight is 3 eps long, I'd honestly prefer if the double ep was for the 2 last episodes of the fight rather than the two first.

Even just in terms of appearance, when you compare this Goku with how he was in the first arc, you notice he changed more it seems at first glance. He's less chubby, a bit taller, and that determined expression of his is kinda new, even when he was serious before it was never quite like this. He knows the stakes here.
