Glad you gave it a shot. Sailor Moon was just as big as DragonBall Z back in the day. It's actually really good and can get pretty dark. The genre is magical girl which is a pretty popular genre in Japan. The only other magical girl anime I've ever gotten into was Pretear which is also pretty good but much shorter. 13 episodes, I believe.

Yea this is the remake it follows the Manga more closely and takes out the filler the OG got 200 episodes this one got 3 seasons and 4 movies( 2 each for the last 2 seasons)
Oh I see but this seems pretty new is this the remake of the og one it looks nice in terms of quality

Thank you for trying it out basically the concept is every guardian has the power of a planet/ruled by a planet there are 10 in total 11 including tuxedo mask the story gets better as it goes on it's a magical girl anime but it gets dark and really good as the seasons go on really hope you keep going when u get a chance id love to see if your opinion changes of it as time goes on this is pretty much the mother of anime and Dragonball is the father these are the OGs
