It was not, Broly was written better in the first movie than he was in the second the fighting was done waaay better in the first movie than in the second movie not to mention Broly could actually talk in the first movie unlike the second one where he just said Kakarot nearly the whole the time.
Broly second coming is amazing especially what happens later on either movie is fine tho
