🕑 Added 2020-05-20 06:05:29 +0000 UTCThose who know me & my sim Oliver know that he is Intersex and there is limited to no representation for it in the Sims 4 community. I have asked multiple other LGBT+ creators about adding it to their Mods only to be told no. So here I am, doing it myself.

What type of Intersex is Oliver?
- Oliver is considered a True Hermaphrodite; Also known as Ovotesticular Disorder which is an intersex condition in which an individual is born with ovarian and testicular tissue and external genitalia are often ambiguous.
- Oliver's ability to conceive is realistic? Yes! There are extremely rare cases of fertility in truly hermaphroditic humans. These individuals typically have functional ovarian tissue, but underdeveloped testes that are unable to engage in spermatogenesis. As a result, these individuals are fertile but not auto-fertile.

Intersex is NOT Transgender!

In short, this was created for my Sim and anyone else who has an intersex sim that feels they lack representation. [Intersex Links] This Trait & Mod are important to me, and I will always update and maintain. It holds a special place in my heart.

saw your Eco Boys Video referring to this - I have asked PimpMySim's multiple times to add Intersex... he has said No every single time. There are people in the LGBT who do not agree that intersex belongs.. or you have the sad case where people see LGBT as trendy (looking at the transgender trend that occurred). But going back to your comment, glad to hear and see you enjoy it. Anyway, This post is full of info on it, but if you have questions you can't find answers to - feel free to ask. 💜

No, they aren't. And I didn't make this to be trendy. I made it to be informative, as well as give those individuals - including my sim some sort of representation. And as I've said many times I love Oliver. He is more than just a character in a game to me. He's my muse and my child. But to outsiders, I always get "Oh, is Oliver trans?". Or people think intersex isn't even a real thing. I tried my best to be as respectful and understanding as I could and will continue to as I add more to it. If it ever is seen as such - I will remove it.

most LGBT+ creators in the sims community are as such only for the popularity of the thematic... intersex people are not a trend

*gasp* Thank you! 50+ years ago, a decision was made for me to take away what i was born with to make me all male versus the male+female i was. Nice to see someone make a trait to reflect that. Thanks YourFalseHope, tho, you should be called Your TrueHope!
