I also went through whole manga and I still don't think UI is transformation, cuz in manga he used UI while bein in SSJ God form, so it doesn't make sense how it would be possible to use 2 transformations at once. And just how he is using Kaioken technique with SSJB he is using UI technique with SSJ God

Being caught up on the manga, it's confirmed that it is a transformation. But that doesn't mean the transformation is right. Essentially, Goku can only access UI by replicating a SS type transformation for the power to channel through. The truest UI for Goku will be him being completely normal with the ability to dodge like Jesus

His eyes is like an indicator to his ultra instinct state. Keep that in mind

Technique, state of being, whatever you wanna call it, I love Ultra Instinct because it basically gains power through dodging and just using it since it's a martial arts mastery kind of thing instead of just powering up. Btw Aimin, as far as the little intermission goes, it changes again when Goku gets MUI. It looks really cool!
