Anyway! I've been quiet for the past few days, even had myself a little writers block for a whole 5 minutes before realizing everything I wrote had to be re-written, which I've already gone ahead and done.
Aside from that, everything is moving smoothly as usual. I'm prooooobably going to have to do some map edits for the final sections of the update, they feel a little barebones so I want to touch them up before using them and I need one more map that I totally didn't forget to make in the early stages of the update planning.
You also might be wondering "Mr. DuckDev, why are you so handsome and smart?... also what the fuck is that image you've posted?" and that would be an excellent question.
That, is blender. I have taken my small, reptile-like brain and made the decision to learn how to import assets into Koi studio! And, as expected when you have no experience with blender or creating mods... It's a hellish experience!
In all honesty, it hasn't been all that bad. The model you're seeing now is an asset rip that won't be used for the game, t'was merely a test model for learning and I managed to figure it out within a day, sorta.
I'll still probably have to use a guide when it comes to me actually needing to import assets and just to refresh the ol' noggin, but ultimately I'm hoping learning to do this will save money in the long run. If I can port my own shit, I don't need commissions!
