Status Update #76

Before we get to that—today's cover image is another CG coming in Trevor's Grind'm hookup. I like how Connor in particular looks here, so I wanted to share!
Like scenes in Jordi's scenario, the hookup is "animated" by dissolving images together. So Trevor's hand is reaching out for a cheeky little ass slap, which is the next CG in the sequence.
Anyway, back to the extra project, and then the to-do list for the next game update.
Official CG Unlock Guide
I'm regularly asked how to unlock certain CGs, and I'm happy to say I now have an official PDF guide to share with all of you! You can find it as an attachment to this post. Hopefully it'll be easy to follow so you can find any CGs you haven't unlocked yet!
This guide is going to be free for everyone, but in the future there will also be a detailed relationship guide that will be a Patreon exclusive. It's very detailed, which you can see in a preview at the end of the PDF, and I decided that made it something patrons like you (at all levels) deserved as a thank you for your support.
I've been working on these guides during downtime when I'm making CGs, since I often need to wait a while to load scenes or get an accurate preview of the finished product. So far I've finished relationship guides for Alex, Dominic, Evan, Griffin, Isaiah, Julian, and Matt, plus a detailed overview of the game mechanics.
The relationship guide doesn't take precedence over the game itself, so I'm not sure when it'll be done in its entirety, but I'll post it as soon as it's ready!

A few notes on these:
Writing
Under the General section, you can see I added a few scenes not related to Trevor's Grind'm scenario. Two actually won't be seen for a while—I got some inspiration for scenes involving Will and Evan that'll be included in a story update down the line. I don't usually write that far ahead, but sometimes ideas come in a flurry, and I want to get them down so they don't get forgotten!
I also backfilled some Morning After Update scenes. Isaiah's were cut for rewrites before the release, and I was finally able to get back to them. (They have some of my favorite romantic dialogue in the whole game, in fact!) I also got alerted to a missing segment in Evan's pondering scene, so I wanted to fill that gap.
Art
I also noted some tweaks to Marco's model. I recently found a product that makes it easier to update older character models to have better skin materials, meaning they react to light more realistically.
I fixed the lighting issues for a number of characters by giving them entirely new materials, like Isaiah, Leo, and Riley, but there are some characters who have textures that really define their look, so I don't want to replace them.
Marco was the first test case for upgrading the existing textures. It's a subtle difference but will really help me out when setting up lighting for scenes. Matt and Will are next to look at.
Coding
Lastly, I decided I need to add some options to control what content you see while playing. This in part because Patreon has been updating its rules on what adult content it allows, and there are some scenarios in the game that they may feel toe the line.
I don't want to get kicked off the platform, so I'm making this a priority to figure out how to do. It'll also make your experience better if you'd rather play without situations like, say, a professor and college student hooking up, which I know some players find off-putting.

Lastly, a note about Patreon galleries for last month and this month. The February bonus gallery is underway but got delayed for the same reasons I discussed in Status Update #75. I actually have March's Guy Gallery finished, however.
Normally I'd only post it after the previous Bonus Gallery, but I don't really want to wait any longer to share it. So Sophomore patrons and above will see that gallery a little later today, and Seniors & Graduates will get the usual poll for its related Bonus Gallery. Don't worry, though, the Bonus Gallery featuring Isaiah, Evan, and Owen is on its way!
