[Frog] Chapter 291: The Emperor Takes Action

Ronan, standing amidst the ruins with his hammer-like weapon in hand, waited calmly in the center of the square. His task was simple—await his troops’ return with the Orb.
His army was more than enough to conquer all of Xandar.
Kree soldiers flooded into various buildings, destroying everything in their path. Their invasion had already consumed nearly half the planet. The leader of the Nova Corps watched the devastation on his screen, his expression grim. Despair filled his heart as he realized even the Nova Corps couldn’t stop Ronan.
Who could save this planet?
Who could drive the Kree invaders away?
At that moment, Xandar needed a hero.
Kree soldiers surged toward the Nova Corps base, their advance unstoppable even by reinforced metal gates.
Suddenly, a golden light appeared before them. Standing in the glow was Alan, clad in his Emperor Armor and wielding the Aurora Sword.
The Nova Corps leader, watching this mysterious figure on his screen, nearly jumped with excitement.
“Who is he? Is he the hero here to save Xandar?”
Alan glared at the Kree soldiers. Moments earlier, he had sent Gwen and Wanda to intercept another group, but these remaining invaders were his to deal with.
“I suggest you leave immediately,” Alan said coldly. There was no trace of mercy in his voice.
The Kree soldiers burst into laughter. Even the Nova Corps had failed to stop them—what could a lone armored man do?
Alan scoffed and disappeared from sight as the Kree fired their laser guns at him. In the blink of an eye, he reappeared, his Aurora Sword slashing through their weapons, severing them cleanly.
The Kree soldiers exchanged shocked glances, their eyes wide with disbelief.
“How did he do that? Cutting through our weapons so quickly?”
“Who are you?” one of the soldiers demanded.
Alan chuckled softly and replied, “I am the Emperor.”
The Nova Corps leader etched the name into his memory. If this Emperor could drive the Kree away, his name would be proclaimed to every corner of Xandar!
“Quick! Deploy our remaining guards to assist the Emperor!” he shouted.
The guards at his side rushed out. The metal doors behind Alan opened, and the remaining Nova Corps members surged forward. Witnessing Alan’s incredible fighting spirit reignited their hope.
Alan glanced at them briefly. As long as they retained their resolve, there was still a chance to defeat the Kree.
Charging forward with the Aurora Sword in hand, Alan tore through the Kree soldiers like a whirlwind. They were flung aside like blades of grass, and together with the Nova Corps, he drove the invaders out of the base.
From the square, Ronan observed the scene with cold, dark eyes.
No one could stop him! With the Power Stone in his possession, not even Thanos would stand in his way.
“All troops!” Ronan roared, commanding the remaining Kree soldiers to converge on Alan. He didn’t know who Alan was or where he had come from, but as long as he was on Xandar, Ronan would see him dead.
Alan’s eyes gleamed with battle lust as he turned his gaze toward Ronan. It had been a long time since he had experienced such an intense fight, and he hoped Ronan would provide a worthy challenge.
“Fall back. I’ll hold them off,” Alan said to the Nova Corps members behind him.
He charged into the ranks of the Kree soldiers, standing alone against Ronan’s vast army. The people of Xandar watched, utterly awestruck, as one man faced an entire legion.
