"Emperor! I, Hela, daughter of Odin, Goddess of Death and Decay, hereby invite you to join me in storming Asgard!"
The bold declaration came from the woman before him, her icy words carrying an undeniable aura of death. Alan could clearly sense the lifeless energy emanating from her body.
It was no surprise—no matter how different this Hela seemed from his impression, she was still the formidable Goddess of Death, second only in power to Odin, the ruler of the Nine Realms.
Alan felt a headache coming on. If he got involved with this woman, his future life would undoubtedly become much more complicated. Moreover, Hela was clearly someone who acted on whims, which could potentially disrupt his plans.
As he weighed the pros and cons, Hela continued, "Emperor, I believe that with your strength combined with mine, we can reclaim Asgard and rule the Nine Realms. Once they are unified, you shall become the King of Asgard, and I shall be your Queen."
Hela suddenly looked at Alan with a sultry gaze. Her stunning figure was unmistakable under her tight-fitting attire. She was indeed a beauty, but one who also bore the danger of a venomous snake.
Alan nearly lost his footing at her words.
"What did you just say? Unify the Nine Realms? And you want to be Queen?"
Hela nodded confidently, as if this was a foregone conclusion.
"Exactly. Only someone as powerful as you is worthy of me."
Alan quickly averted his gaze, his thoughts racing. On the surface, this seemed like an unbeatable deal: a beautiful woman offering herself while also helping him conquer kingdoms. But something about it didn’t sit right with him.
Was Hela’s entire effort to break her seal just to find a husband? This plot twist felt completely off!
Alan closed his eyes, hoping this was all a dream. But when he opened them, Hela was still standing there, her presence as alluring as ever.
He let out a wry smile as a thought occurred to him.
"If you’re planning to unify the Nine Realms, shouldn’t conquering Asgard be easy for you? The fact that you’re asking for my help—could it be that your power hasn’t fully recovered?"
Alan’s question made Hela freeze for a moment, her eyes darting away. Her reaction confirmed his suspicion.
This woman had forcefully broken her seal, leaving her power weakened. That was why she wanted to drag him into this mess!
Hela hastily replied, "No, no, you’re mistaken! I really want you to join me in unifying the Nine Realms, and making you King of Asgard is my genuine intention!"
Her voice grew quieter and quieter until Alan could barely hear her by the end.
Hela’s gaze was filled with admiration. Only a truly powerful man could catch her attention, and Alan, with his unmatched strength, had completely turned Hela into his devoted admirer.
"Well, let’s talk about attacking Asgard another time," Alan said nonchalantly, quickly making his escape.
He couldn’t comprehend Hela’s thought process and feared that if he stayed any longer, she might end up holding a wedding ceremony with him right there on the moon.
As Alan’s figure disappeared into the distance, Hela smiled faintly before vanishing from the spot. She reappeared in the Sanctum Sanctorum.
Ancient One asked, "Did you meet him?"
Hela nodded.
Ancient One didn’t press her about why she had sought out the Emperor and instead inquired about her next plans.
After a moment of thought, Hela replied, "I’m going to find Spider-Woman!"
