“Honorary Knight, rest assured. I won’t go back on my word once I’ve agreed.”
Jean found Nolan’s eager expression endearing, and she felt a wave of warmth, touched by how much he cared for her.
She slowly sat down, the white tight-fitting pants that outlined the graceful curve of her hips pressing against the chair once more. A soft smile curved her lips as she spoke:
“Well, since the Honorary Knight has someone in mind who would be suitable as my secretary, please share.”

No matter how he thought about it, Noelle seemed perfect as Jean’s secretary, for the reasons he’d just mentioned.

Jean rubbed her fair cheeks and looked at the clock in her office. It was already 10 PM without her realizing it. She still needed to go back to the dorm to take a bath, and by the time she was done, it would be bedtime.
Now that she thought about it, Lisa was likely about to go to sleep on schedule. Sharing the dorm, if Jean came back late and woke her up while bathing, Lisa would probably complain again.
With that in mind, Jean knew it was time to clock out and rest.
“Acting Grand Master, shall we walk part of the way together? I have a gift I’d like to give you,” Nolan said after a moment’s thought.

Before she could react, his fingers gently slid between hers, locking them together.

As expected, when Jean realized that her left hand was suddenly being held, she felt slightly uncomfortable due to her lack of experience and instinctively tried to pull her hand back.
