[Superman] Chapter 200: The Complete Eradication of the Infinite Ultron
🕑 Added 2024-08-14 09:17:50 +0000 UTCThe endless timelines began to grow rapidly once more, maintained by Loki. Green energy flowed within the timelines, while golden radiance enveloped the surface of each branch, rendering them sacred and inviolable.
From this moment on, the distinction between sacred timelines and branched timelines ceased to exist.
In other words, every timeline would become a sacred timeline.
The multiverse, truly starting from this point, was filled with infinite possibilities.
The energy of the timelines spread across the void, the golden energy flowing like lava, defying logic as it moved upward toward the summit of the desolate ruins.
Loki, dragging the endless timelines, took slow yet determined steps, gradually ascending this peak that symbolized the highest point of space and time.
The golden energy, which had reached the summit first, slowly spread across a solitary, dilapidated throne that appeared bleak and decayed.
Golden threads, like luxurious gold silk, wove through the broken throne, creating strange patterns that radiated a sacred aura.
Gradually, this broken throne, lost in endless solitude and ruin, transformed into a supreme golden throne at this moment.
However, it also represented that whoever sat upon this throne would endure endless solitude and eternal loneliness.
Gazing at the supreme throne created by time and divine power, made especially for him, and symbolizing eternal solitude, Loki’s expression remained calm, his gaze unwavering, as he turned and slowly sat upon it without hesitation.
This lonely throne was established solely for Loki.
It proclaimed that the God of Time, filled with endless glory and supreme power, had officially taken his place at this moment!
At this moment, the endless timelines shone with a brilliant and sacred light, brimming with vitality, thriving.
The radiant timelines even illuminated the surrounding darkness of the void, adding an indelible touch of splendor to the entire universe.
The scene slowly shifted, with the endless timelines now resembling Yggdrasil, the World Tree from Norse mythology, which supported all nine realms!
“Loki… it seems he has become the new God of Time…”
The people in the TVA gazed up eagerly at the magnificent scene constructed by the radiant timelines.
At this moment, even though they couldn’t clearly see the familiar figure amidst the endless timelines, they knew that the Loki they once knew had now truly become a god—the God of Time and Stories, guarding the infinite timelines and writing countless stories for the universe!
...
At the same time...
Peter’s countless avatars were spread across all the timelines. However, the division of his power into endless avatars had weakened his original strength, making it difficult to locate the hidden Infinite Ultron within the vast expanse of time.
Until a green orb slowly appeared before each of Peter’s avatars.
The green energy orb drifted slowly, gradually revealing a figure that Peter was all too familiar with.
It was Loki, now the true God of Time.
"Peter, I will guide you to the exact location of Infinite Ultron across the endless timelines..."
Though Loki’s figure seemed faint and illusory at this moment, he embodied the key hope for saving the infinite timelines and the multiverse.
Peter’s countless avatars didn’t speak, but a slight smile appeared on their faces as they slowly reached into Loki’s ethereal form.
Whoosh!
In an instant, guided by the power within, Peter’s avatars disappeared from where they stood.
Traversing through endless time and space, they reappeared in front of a certain figure.
"Hmm? How did you manage to find me within the endless timelines?"
Upon seeing Peter’s avatar, the figure’s cold red eyes were filled with shock and confusion.
Ultron had transcended the limitations of time and space, able to exist in any timeline and location. It was nearly impossible for anyone to pinpoint its original presence and truly erase its existence.
Yet, there was still an irremediable flaw.
With the guidance of the true God of Time, its exact location in time and space could be determined.
"Pitiful human, I will not let you destroy our grand plan. This universe will be completely annihilated, bringing about true peace..."
At that moment, Infinite Ultron, facing the sudden appearance of Peter, made the same decision.
The Infinity Stones embedded within them radiated overwhelming energy.
The power of the Infinity Stones transformed into rings of energy, sweeping across the surroundings and towards Peter.
At the same time, the energy from the Time and Space Stones began to converge within their bodies, preparing to transport them through endless space and time to escape Peter’s pursuit.
"Damn it! Why can’t I traverse time and space anymore?"
Yet soon after, Ultron’s voice, filled with disbelief, echoed.
"Don’t bother. I’ve already locked down this time and space with my power..."
Peter crossed his arms in front of his chest, blocking Ultron’s energy onslaught. Though his body was pushed back, he remained unharmed.
"No matter what, you’re not getting away!"
Peter’s expression remained calm. Even though dividing himself into countless avatars had weakened his power, he still possessed enough strength to defeat a single Ultron.
"For the sake of the entire multiverse, you must be completely erased!"
Without hesitation, Peter unleashed the full power of his avatars.
Terrifying energy engulfed Peter, and golden flames surrounded him, transforming him into a giant of blazing fire.
In an instant, he charged at Ultron with incredible speed.
Peter’s hands firmly grasped Ultron’s body to prevent its escape.
The endless golden flames began to spread and surge, swiftly engulfing Ultron’s entire form.
"This can’t be! I won’t be defeated so easily..."
Ultron’s icy expression twisted with unwillingness as it unleashed the power of the Infinity Stones, trying to break free from Peter’s grip.
However, this Ultron was merely a standard version that wielded the power of the Infinity Stones, not the original Ultron that held the primal essence of the Stones.
No matter how much it struggled, it couldn’t escape Peter’s hold.
The raging fire emitted extreme heat.
Even though Ultron’s body was made of durable Vibranium, it began to melt rapidly.
Its limbs were the first to liquefy under the intense heat, turning into pools of molten metal.
"No!"
In a roar filled with frustration, Ultron’s body was completely melted in less than a second.
"It seems that without Loki taking over the maintenance of time, it would have been difficult for me to completely erase Infinite Ultron on my own..."
As Ultron’s body was destroyed, and after feeling the immense power unleashed that erased Ultron in an instant, Peter’s weakened avatar couldn’t help but sigh. Without Loki’s assistance, it would have been nearly impossible to fully erase every Infinite Ultron across all timelines.
After all, even though these Ultron figures were merely avatars, each one possessed the power of the Infinity Stones, originating from different times and universes.
But Peter, at this moment, had truly divided his strength, scattering it across the endless timelines and multiverse.
Crack!
Suddenly, with the destruction of Ultron’s body, the six Infinity Stones embedded within it shattered under the extreme heat.
From the broken Stones, six streams of energy, each a different color, flowed slowly into Peter’s dimming avatar.
Restoring some of its energy and radiance.
...
"Great! We’ve finally… succeeded!"
As the battle across the endless timelines swiftly concluded, Loki, the Gof of Time who could observe all timelines, couldn’t help but reveal a hint of joy in his once-worried eyes.
At this moment, it was clear that the crisis engulfing the universe and the timelines had been completely resolved.
The endless timelines and universe would continue to flourish, brimming with life and infinite possibilities.
"No, it’s not over yet!"
Suddenly, Peter, still within the endless timelines, seemed to sense Loki’s joy and spoke slowly.
"Hmm?"
In Loki’s puzzled gaze, the sacred golden light flowing through the endless timelines began to rapidly converge towards the center.
In just an instant, the light gathered completely, forming an incredibly brilliant and bright golden orb, like a radiant star illuminating all the surrounding timelines.
The golden orb didn’t stop there; it traversed rapidly through the endless timelines, eventually halting over a seemingly unremarkable timeline.
"This is... the timeline where the original Ultron was born?"
Loki’s perception followed Peter’s form through the endless timelines. When Peter stopped, Loki simultaneously realized that the timeline Peter had reached was indeed the one where the original Ultron was born.
"Could it be…"
Loki’s expression was one of surprise, as he seemed to grasp Peter’s current intentions.
…
On Earth in a certain universe…
Following the recent birth and rebellion of Ultron, humanity faced the most terrifying and brutal war in its history.
Unlike the two world wars that once occurred on Earth, this war was between humans and artificial intelligence.
What made it even harder for humanity to accept was that this time, they were the losing side.
In a short period, humanity had been defeated.
Even Earth’s mightiest protectors, the Avengers, a group of heroes with incredible abilities, had also been defeated.
An endless swarm of AI robots had nearly swept across the entire planet.
In a brief span of time, humanity was almost completely wiped out.
The terrifying power of AI was beyond belief.
But the humans on this Earth no longer had the chance to be shocked by it.
Nuclear bombs had ravaged the world, and the cities once controlled by humans had been reduced to rubble.
Ultron had single-handedly brought true peace to Earth.
But it was a special kind of peace, built upon endless bloodshed and ruins.
"It’s finally over!"
"This planet has finally achieved true peace!"
Ultron bathed in the blood-red sunset, relishing the hard-earned tranquility of this once-chaotic planet.
Buzz!
Suddenly, a sound emerged from behind Ultron.
A blue portal opened, and a massive figure with purple skin and a bald head stepped out.
On his left hand, he wore a golden gauntlet adorned with five glowing stones, each radiating a different, brilliant light.
"Interesting…"
Ultron slowly turned around, eyeing the unexpected visitor with interest.
"This is… the final stone…"
Thanos smiled slightly, raising his left hand confidently and setting his gaze on the Mind Stone shining atop Ultron’s head.
However, before Thanos’ confident smile could fade, a brilliant golden beam shot from the Mind Stone atop Ultron’s head, striking Thanos and slicing his body in half in an instant.
Ultron’s power was astonishing.
Ultron didn’t even glance at the dead Thanos, instead fixing his gaze on the five stones embedded in the Infinity Gauntlet.
From those stones, Ultron could feel a power capable of controlling everything.
Sizzle!
The golden light destroyed the sturdy Infinity Gauntlet, causing the five stones to fall and float into the air, circling rapidly around Ultron’s body.
Ultron’s body began to levitate as well.
Ding!
In Ultron’s expectant gaze, the five stones flew toward its body, embedding themselves in its chest, where they shone brilliantly.
"Now, I seem to see everything. Beyond this planet, there are countless worlds that need saving…"
With the unification of the six Infinity Stones, Ultron now seemed to possess the power to control and destroy everything.
"Unfortunately, you might not get the chance!"
Suddenly, a voice rang out beside Ultron, causing the machine to once again display a surprised expression.
"Are you here to deliver more powerful forces to me?"
Thanos’ sudden appearance had allowed Ultron to gather all six Infinity Stones and gain immense power.
But with the arrival of this new figure, Ultron sensed within them a power far more terrifying than the Infinity Stones.
Without hesitation, Ultron unleashed a golden beam from the yellow Mind Stone atop its head.
Buzz!
But just as the beam was about to hit the figure, it suddenly halted, as if time itself had stopped, freezing the energy in mid-air.
"This… this is impossible!"
Ultron was shocked and quickly directed the other stones to unleash even more powerful energy beams at the figure.
Buzz!
But just like before, the energy beams froze in mid-air, unable to advance even a millimeter.
"Unfortunately for you, my control over the Infinity Stones now far exceeds yours!"
As the figure spoke calmly, he casually waved a hand, and the energy released from the Infinity Stones was instantly drawn back into the stones.
Ding, ding, ding!
In the next moment, with a simple gesture, the stones detached from Ultron’s body and floated away.
"No!"
As the last Mind Stone fell from Ultron’s head, its voice, filled with unwillingness, echoed across the Earth.
Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle!
Without the Mind Stone, Ultron’s body began to spark and short-circuit uncontrollably.
"Who… who are you?"
Yet Ultron didn’t perish completely at that moment.
"Me? I’m Peter Parker, just someone who’s here to erase you completely."
Peter calmly collected the six original Infinity Stones, crushed them effortlessly, absorbed their essence, and then turned his gaze back to Ultron.
In the next moment, he raised his hand, aiming at Ultron’s body…
In an instant, the Ultron that would have sparked a crisis across the infinite multiverse was completely erased from all timelines and universes.
…
