[Superman] Chapter 126: Uninvited Guests Appearing One After Another
🕑 Added 2024-05-05 06:00:25 +0000 UTC"Oh my god, what the hell is that?"
At this moment, it wasn't just Peter who saw the enormous figure in the void.
Countless people had noticed the sudden appearance of the figure in the sky.
Almost no one had ever seen such a strange individual before.
"Um, sorry to interrupt your graduation ceremony, but for the sake of the safety of the entire multiverse, I have no choice but to do this."
The colossal figure didn't speak, but its voice directly entered Peter's ears.
"What crisis threatens the entire multiverse?"
Even Peter couldn't help but be curious about what kind of crisis had prompted The Watcher to seek his help, despite violating their oath of non-interference in the development of the universe.
"In the entire multiverse, there are countless individual universes, each with its own unique development.
"Although the development of individual universes differs, they generally do not affect the progress of the entire multiverse, even if some of these individual universes face destruction."
"However, there are some individual universes whose realities are particularly unique. Their developments, which go beyond natural laws, can even influence the course of the entire multiverse."
The Watcher's colossal figure stood calmly in the void, explaining to Peter the crisis that was sweeping through the entire multiverse.
"So, you're saying this special crisis is happening in a particular individual universe?"
Peter quickly extracted the key information from The Watcher's words.
"You're right. In a universe that's nearly identical to yours, the reality of Earth there isn't as fortunate as in your universe, where you have powerful superheroes like yourself to protect it."
"Humanity's reckless development and wars eventually brought about their true destruction."
"The AI Ultron's rampage turned the entire Earth into a hellish apocalypse."
"Robots occupied the entire Earth, exterminating all humans."
As The Watcher spoke, the sky began to display vivid, holographic-like images, showing how artificial intelligence rose to power and manipulated armies of robots to slaughter all humans on Earth.
Until all humans were completely annihilated, and Ultron's army, led by Ultron, completely occupied the entire Earth.
"However, up to this point, everything was still under control. Even though humans on Earth were completely exterminated, and robots occupied the entire planet, it was still a normal development of reality in the universe."
"Until Ultron, who occupied Earth, obtained the supreme artifact of the entire universe, the six Infinity Stones, the entire infinite multiverse fell into a massive crisis..."
The images in the void kept changing, eventually converging into a colossal robotic figure, with the Infinity Stones embedded on its chest emitting a dazzling light.
And the red light emanating from its eyes seemed extremely impactful, carrying a hint of destruction.
Just looking at it gave people a sense of panic and fear.
It seemed devoid of any emotion, incredibly indifferent and cold.
...
"Ultron with all six Infinity Stones?"
As Peter looked at the imposing and chilling figure of Ultron looming over the void, he instantly understood what The Watcher meant by the crisis of the infinite multiverse.
Before his crossing over, he had seen this crisis from Ultron depicted in animated form.
owever, in that storyline, it seemed that The Watcher, together with several special heroes assembled from various universes, ultimately defeated Ultron.
They joined forces, despite many unexpected incidents along the way, and ultimately, under the leadership of the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange, they managed to defeat Ultron.
And they sealed him away in a pocket dimension of a special universe.
Thus, they completely resolved the crisis that swept through the multiverse.
But now, instead of seeking the help of Doctor Strange, The Watcher had come to him.
Was it just because they had briefly crossed paths before?
"Although I haven't truly seen Ultron myself, I understand something about him."
At this moment, Peter was filled with questions and didn't readily agree to The Watcher's request for help in resolving this crisis.
"He's just an AI created by humans. How could he fully control the power of the six Infinity Stones, and even unleash their power to such an extreme extent, surpassing Thanos, who collected all six Infinity Stones?"
Without a doubt, Peter's biggest question at the moment was that the six Infinity Stones in the hands of Thanos and Ultron were almost entirely different concepts.
Obviously, Thanos wasn't proficient in controlling the power of the Infinity Stones. He could only use their power to make half of the universe's population disappear, and he even suffered backlash from the power of the Infinity Stones.
But Ultron, who possessed all six Infinity Stones, wouldn't be affected at all and could freely wield the terrifying power capable of destroying the universe.
His performance far surpassed Thanos by several levels.
"I can answer your doubts."
Facing Peter's current questions, The Watcher's figure in the void didn't intend to hide anything.
"Ultron, who possesses six Infinity Stones, is so incredibly powerful that it might be difficult for even me to stop him from destroying the Infinite Universe!"
"Before that, I was similarly puzzled as to how he, who had gathered all the Infinity Stones, was able to utilize a power that surpassed the mighty power of the universe level."
"It wasn't until after my careful observation that I finally realized the reason for this."
"The reason Ultron, with all six Infinity Stones, is more powerful than Thanos, who also had six Infinity Stones, is because Ultron himself was originally one of the Infinity Stones."
"Tony Stark, the Iron Man, created Ultron using the Mind Stone."
"And Ultron himself is a special embodiment of the Mind Stone."
"The wisdom derived from the Mind Stone enables him to completely control the power of the other stones and unleash a power far beyond that of any other Infinity Stone holder."
In the original storyline, after Ultron collected all six Infinity Stones, he discovered The Watcher and launched an attack on him.
The Watcher never had a chance to carefully observe why Ultron could extraordinarily wield the power of the Infinity Stones.
But now, thanks to the intervention of the Transcendent Celestial, which sealed the universe where Ultron was, The Watcher had the opportunity to carefully observe Ultron and finally discovered the true reason for his complete control over the power of the Infinity Stones.
And he told Peter everything.
"So that's how it is."
Hearing The Watcher's explanation, Peter understood everything.
"Superman, now that including your universe, the realities of the infinite multiverse are threatened by Ultron."
"Please, you must help me completely resolve this enormous crisis engulfing the realities of the multiverse!"
At this point, The Watcher suddenly spoke sincerely to Peter.
"Oh? Didn't you say before that, as a member of The Watcher race, you would never violate your oath and interfere with the natural development of the entire multiverse reality?"
Peter didn't agree to The Watcher's request but instead smiled and asked him back.
"This..."
Although he had long been prepared to break the racial oath and interfere with the development of the universe.
But now, being directly exposed by Peter, The Watcher's face couldn't help but show a trace of embarrassment.
"Sorry, our race's previous oath was indeed a bit selfish. Faced with the crisis engulfing the realities of the multiverse, we shouldn't stand idly by. However..."
At this moment, facing Peter's questioning, The Watcher finally put away his aloof and indifferent demeanor, treating everything as irrelevant.
"Darn it, he's here again, and so soon..."
However, just as The Watcher was about to continue persuading Peter, his expression suddenly became extremely ugly.
Then, without hesitation, his enormous figure completely dissipated into the void.
As if everything that had just happened was just an illusion.
"Oh? Another uninvited guest?"
"Today, my universe is really lively!"
As Peter watched The Watcher leave without finishing his words and felt a presence no weaker than The Watcher's suddenly appear in his universe, he couldn't help but show a curious expression on his face.
...
"Oh? The reality of this universe seems to be somewhat special..."
As The Watcher hurriedly departed, a powerful consciousness, imperceptible to ordinary people, instantly descended into Peter's universe.
And in that moment of arrival, the Transcendent Celestial sensed the extraordinary nature of this universe.
"Humans from different universes living together on one Earth?"
"Has this universe experienced collisions and invasions from other universes?"
In just an instant, the Transcendent Celestial discovered that on Earth in this universe, there were actually humans from another universe living among them.
This discovery filled him with great surprise.
"Hmm? Superman?"
However, the next moment, another discovery left the Gao Tianzun even more surprised and intrigued.
"It's not an imitation like Captain Marvel, Sentry, or Hyperion from other universes, but a genuine, fully depicted as in the comics, real Superman!"
"Interesting, this universe is truly fascinating!"
At this moment, upon realizing that the Superman in this universe wasn't a mere imitator like in other universes, the Gao Tianzun couldn't help but reveal a deeply interested expression.
"Interesting. I must take a closer look at this so-called Superman..."
"Hehe, no need, I'm already here!"
Just as the Transcendent Celestial's consciousness was eagerly preparing to observe the Superman of this universe, a voice suddenly sounded beside him.
"You... you can detect me too?"
Gao Tianzun looked at the figure that suddenly appeared before him, staring directly into his eyes with an expression of astonishment.
This was the second time he had been directly discovered during his exploration of universal realities.
The last time was by Ultron, who had collected all six Infinity Stones.
"What? Was it hard to discover you? An ...... intruder from outside the universe!"
Peter spoke slowly to the surprised Gao Tianzun, but as his last words fell, his previously playful expression instantly turned cold.
Unlike The Watcher just now, Peter sensed a disdainful aura from the Gao Tianzun.
"Hmm? Is that expression of yours indicating that you intend to take action against me?"
The Transcendent Celestial noticed Peter's cold gaze and couldn't help but feel somewhat surprised.
"So what if I do?"
Peter's gaze remained icy, but he didn't move directly.
"Haha, this universe is truly amusing!"
"Unfortunately, you are too arrogant. You see, there is always someone stronger, and beyond the universe, there are entities you cannot afford to provoke..."
Transcendent Celestial wasn't frightened by Peter's cold gaze but instead adopted the manner of an elder, speaking to Peter slowly as if teaching a student.
"You're right, but I'm not arrogant. I'm confident!"
Peter's gaze sharpened, and without hesitation, he charged toward the figure of the Transcendent Celestial in the void, swinging his fist fiercely!
Boom!
Peter's fist contained terrifying power.
The moment it struck the figure of the Living Tribunal, under the burst of terrifying power, even the space of the universe was instantly shattered, as if it were glass breaking.
However, his fist seemed to pass through the figure of the Gao Tianzun as if it hadn't caused any harm at all.
"Haha, kid, not bad strength, but unfortunately, it's useless against me... Ah! What have you done?"
Gao Tianzun originally looked at Peter with a mocking expression, hoping to see a surprised expression on his face.
But the next moment, he felt a powerful special force erupting on his consciousness and soul, as if they were being roasted by raging hellfire, causing him immense pain.
"Hehe, how does it feel? Quite refreshing, isn't it!"
Slowly withdrawing his fist, burning with golden flames, from the consciousness of the Transcendent Celestial, Peter's face showed a mocking smile as he looked at the pained expression on the Gao Tianzun's face.
"Darn it, Phoenix Force, how is this possible?"
"How could you become the host of the Phoenix Force?"
At this moment, feeling the intense burning sensation and the powerful force of annihilation emanating from his consciousness, as if it were about to completely obliterate his consciousness, the Gao Tianzun's face was filled with disbelief!
He had seen the Phoenix Force in other universes before.
But what shocked him was that he had never seen Peter, the host of the Phoenix Force, in other universes.
"Just as you said, there's always someone stronger outside and beyond the universe!"
As Peter's words fell, two golden rays of light instantly appeared in his eyes.
Directly transforming into two golden beams, they once again surged toward the consciousness of the Transcendent Celestial.
"Darn it, you wait... Ah!"
Even though the Gao Tianzun tried his best to control his body and evade the fusion of the two Phoenix Force and Solar Force energy beams.
Yet, in the end, he was unable to dodge away because of the invaded energy in his body.
He was instantly struck by the two pillars of energy.
Immediately, his entire body then turned into a dazzling golden flame, burning violently, so intense that even the barriers of the universe seemed unable to withstand such terrifying flames, and the space was distorted, almost forming a black hole full of tearing force.
Accompanied by a scream of unbearable pain, in just an instant, his body completely disappeared from this universe.
And as consciousness dissipated in an instant.
Far beyond the boundaries of the universe, the Transcendent Celestial suddenly opened his eyes.
Beads of sweat covered his forehead, and his entire body was filled with an expression of shock and pain.
"This darn guy, you'll regret what you did today!"
Leaving behind a harsh remark, the Gao Tianzun instantly rushed into the void in the distance, disappearing in the blink of an eye!
"I will definitely come back!"
