[Superman] Chapter 125: Superman at the Graduation Ceremony!
🕑 Added 2024-05-01 17:05:20 +0000 UTC"What's going on with this guy? How can he wield the power of the Infinity Stones to such an extreme extent?"
In the infinite universe, although the possibility of Ultron successfully ruling the Earth was small, it was not entirely impossible.
However, until now, Ultron was the first to successfully collect all six Infinity Stones after ruling Earth.
And at this moment, even the Transcendent Celestial, beyond the universe, couldn't help but feel a hint of threat from Ultron.
"There are still so many exciting worlds beyond this universe?"
Ultron, who had just conquered Earth, originally thought he had completely plunged the entire planet into absolute tranquility.
But unexpectedly, the power of the Infinity Stones allowed him to witness the excitement beyond the universe, as well as... annoyance!
"It seems my mission isn't truly complete yet."
Ultron, with six Infinity Stones, fixed his cold red eyes firmly on the ethereal figure of the Transcendent Celestial.
"Mission? What mission?"
The Transcendent Celestial looked puzzled. He didn't know why Ultron existed in this universe.
"Peace, to bring true peace to the infinite universe!"
"Even if it means destroying all life inside and outside the universe!"
The cold eyes of Ultron emitted a strong light, and the gem on his chest radiated immense energy.
A terrifying aura instantly swept across the entire planet.
Boom! Instantly, the entire Earth burst like an overinflated balloon.
Directly bursting apart.
The terrifying shockwave swept across the entire solar system.
Even the consciousness of the Transcendent Celestial, untouched by the reality of the universe, was instantly struck by such terrifying energy.
Crack!
The gem energy, unleashed to its utmost, instantly shattered the cosmic barrier behind the Transcendent Celestial.
From within the shattered cosmic barrier, the Transcendent Celestial's figure emerged from the reality of the universe, looking extremely disheveled.
"You damn bastard!"
As his consciousness returned to his body outside the universe, the Transcendent Celestial's expression instantly turned extremely ugly.
Simultaneously, with intense anger in his eyes, he stared at Ultron across the cosmic barrier.
In the infinite universe, no one had ever made him feel so miserable!
"Hmph, if it weren't for more pressing matters, I would never let you off so easily!"
However, thinking of his agreement with the other omnipotent being from another universe, the Transcendent Celestial restrained his intense anger.
Without acting recklessly, he directly rushed back into the universe to battle Ultron with the Infinity Stones.
Instead of raising his hands to attack, two dazzling rays of light shone from the palms of his hands.
The brilliance was like two superstars.
It could even illuminate the entire universe reality where Ultron was located.
"What... are... you... planning?"
At this moment, Ultron suddenly had a bad feeling. The Infinity Stone on his chest once again emitted an incredibly dazzling energy.
He attempted to use immense energy to directly break through the cosmic barrier and transcend beyond the universe.
Crack!
The reality of the universe space trembled continuously due to such immense energy. Even at a location where the energy was concentrated, there was a direct rupture.
Ultron instantly stopped the release of energy and rapidly rushed towards the Transcendent Celestial, who was outside the universe, in the void.
However, just as Ultron was about to approach the shattered cosmic barrier, he saw the Transcendent Celestial outside, with a hint of a mocking smile on his face.
"You insignificant ant, daring to compete with the moon's brilliance, just roll back!"
With the Transcendent Celestial's roar, he instantly clasped his hands together. The radiant light within his palms, like stars, erupted with unparalleled terrifying energy and aura upon contact.
Boom!
The violent energy even penetrated the shattered cosmic barrier and surged into the reality of the universe, directly blasting Ultron, who was about to reach the exit, away.
Subsequently, the terrifying energy outside the universe gradually converged into a star-chart-like pattern.
As the star-chart expanded continuously, it directly enveloped the entire reality of the individual universe.
Forming a brand new cosmic barrier, completely isolating the reality of this individual universe from the void outside the universe, sealing off the entire universe completely.
"Now, your universe will become your prison. Want to destroy all life in the multiverse? Wait for your next life!"
On the angry face of the Transcendent Celestial, there was a mocking smile at this moment.
Then, no longer paying attention to this universe, with a flicker of his body, he had already arrived outside other universes. His consciousness once again entered the reality of the universe, exploring the scenes within.
Boom! And within the sealed universe, Ultron continuously unleashed the incredibly terrifying power of the Infinity Stones.
The unparalleled violent energy even completely destroyed the entire solar system.
Crack!
The first layer of the cosmic barrier was continuously pierced by the energy. However, when the terrifying energy hit the second layer, shining like a star chart, it seemed to be instantly dispersed, gradually dissipating along the continuously refracted and linked star chains.
Finally, it completely dissipated into nothingness.
"This... is impossible!"
Ultron looked incredulous.
With all six Infinity Stones collected, he felt the terrifying energy capable of destroying the universe flooding his entire body.
This gave him the confidence to destroy all life in the infinite universe and bring it to complete peace.
However, the cruel reality gave him a resounding slap in the face! He was full of unwillingness, constantly exerting the power of the Infinity Stones to the extreme, attempting to break through the outermost new cosmic barrier.
However, no matter how hard he tried, he ultimately couldn't break through that barrier!
...
Outside the infinite universe, the figure of the Transcendent Celestial did not stop his journey of exploring the reality of the universe.
His figure flickered rapidly outside every hexahedral spherical universe, observing their realities.
Occasionally, he would cast a strong light towards the universe and mark it.
Gradually, his figure drifted away from the special universe he had sealed.
As the figure of the Transcendent Celestial gradually moved away, a giant head slowly emerged outside the sealed universe.
"Why? Why do I have to experience such universal crises continuously?"
The observer looked at the sealed reality of the universe, where Ultron was still continuously releasing the energy of the Infinity Stones, trying to break the seal of the universe.
His eyes were full of helplessness.
As an ordinary member of the observer clan, he had observed the reality of the universe countless times.
But he never expected that crises that could affect the infinite universe would occur twice in such a short time.
The agreement between the Transcendent Celestial and the other omnipotent being from another universe might destroy the barriers between the omnipotent universes, causing them to merge and collide with each other.
This was undoubtedly a cosmic-level crisis.
However, before the observer could think of a solution, he discovered that there was also no peace within the individual universe.
The emergence of Ultron with the Infinity Stones once again plunged the entire infinite universe into a crisis of destruction.
Even though, at this moment, the Transcendent Celestial had sealed Ultron with the Infinity Stones in his universe through powerful means.
However, according to the observations of the observers during this period, they found that Ultron's understanding of the Infinity Stones was rapidly increasing.
That is to say, someday, Ultron would be able to break the seal of the Transcendent Celestial with his own power, then break out of his universe's reality, and immediately threaten the safety of the entire multiverse.
"To destroy all life in the universe and bring true peace to the infinite universe..."
Ultron's conviction undoubtedly dealt a severe blow to the entire multiverse.
Even the observers were included.
"Could it be that now I can only break the oath held by our observer clan and interfere with the development of the universe's reality?"
At this moment, the observer's gaze flickered, seemingly caught in a difficult dilemma.
"No, I can't just sit back and wait for death!"
"If the reality and life of the infinite universe are destroyed, then what meaning does our observer clan have in existence!"
Suddenly, the observer, who was caught in a dilemma, suddenly understood everything.
Although the observer clan had long sworn not to interfere with the development of the universe, it was apparent that this serious problem could not be solved by adhering to their oath.
The entire infinite universe was in a state of destruction.
If the observers did not intervene, they would probably lose all meaning of existence.
"Perhaps, that person can help me!"
"I am Watu, and I will sacrifice everything to protect the reality of the infinite universe, even if it means breaking my oath!"
At this moment, Watu, who instantly transformed from an observer to an intervener, suddenly remembered the human who had broken through the cosmic barrier not long ago and had personally destroyed a dying universe.
...
Earth, Midtown High School, New York City.
As a year passed quickly, it finally ushered in a new season of graduates.
Undoubtedly, Peter was also among the graduates of this season.
"Next, let's welcome the graduates we are proud of to come on stage and receive their... brand new future!"
As the principal's passionate speech on stage ended, the most exciting part of the graduation ceremony finally began.
At this moment, almost all the graduating students of this season were wearing academic robes, one after another, walking onto the stage to receive their diplomas.
Click!
The sound of cameras clicking continuously echoed.
Accompanied by the cheers of countless students, one student after another went on stage to receive their diplomas.
It also marked the end of their high school years, and whether they entered society or went to university for further studies, it was up to them to decide.
"Damn, everyone's graduating, why is that guy Peter still late!"
Underneath the stage, Gwen, wearing an academic robe, looked anxious. Because as other students went on stage to receive their diplomas one after another, Peter, who had been on leave for several months under the pretext of an internship, had not shown up yet.
Whoosh!
Just as Gwen looked anxious.
A figure swiftly streaked across the sky above the school.
Immediately, it landed outside the crowd in an instant.
However, its speed was so extreme that as it descended, the crowd only heard the whistling sound it made as it passed by.
"What was that just now? Could it be Superman?"
Countless people looked towards the sky that had long lost its figure, speculating whether it was Superman flying over them.
"I don't think so. Mr. Superman hasn't appeared for a long time."
"In my opinion, it might be Thor, the God of Thunder, or some superpowered individual from the X-Men."
Since the last alien invasion, Thor and the mutants had completely appeared in the public eye.
Their continuous appearance, helping humanity solve certain crises, earned them the adoration of countless people.
Even in a short period of time, their popularity among all humans had approached that of Superman, who had been absent for consecutive months.
So at this moment, some speculated that the figures streaking across their skies were not Superman, but other superheroes capable of flight.
"Cough... Let's continue to present the next student with their graduation certificate."
Onstage, the principal coughed into the microphone, redirecting the attention of many students who had been drawn to the figures streaking across the sky.
Then he continued, "Peter Parker, please come on stage to receive your graduation certificate..."
"Wow! So cool!"
"This guy's outfit is so authentic!"
However, as the principal's voice fell, a sudden roar erupted from the students below.
"What's going on? Why is it so noisy?"
The principal raised his head in confusion, wondering why the students were making such a fuss.
"Pfft!"
But the next moment, as he watched the figure walking towards the stage, an expression of utter astonishment couldn't help but spread across his face.
"Peter, this student really knows how to play the part. When I graduated, why didn't we have such cool superheroes to impersonate!"
As he watched Peter, clad in a flashy Superman costume, making his way to the stage, the principal was not only surprised but also a bit envious.
Everyone wanted to leave behind a memorable graduation journey for themselves.
However, when he graduated, there weren't as many cool superheroes in the world for them to impersonate.
At most, it was just wearing a Captain America uniform to attend the graduation ceremony.
Even so, it caused a sensation among all the students.
But now, have students already followed the trend of playing Superman and attending graduation ceremonies?
"Peter... Superman, damn it, why didn't I think of this before!"
However, among the many students looking at the one wearing the Superman uniform, only Gwen's face showed not only astonishment but also a hint of disbelief.
Because she was different from everyone else. With her powerful spider-sense, she could sense the immense power coursing through Peter's body at this moment.
Without a doubt, the one standing before everyone right now wasn't Peter dressed as Superman for the graduation ceremony.
It was the real Superman — Peter Parker!
"So, this guy already knew I'm Spider-Woman?"
As Gwen learned of Peter's identity as Superman, she couldn't help but think that her own hidden identity might have been discovered by Peter long ago.
"Cough cough, congratulations, Peter Parker, on successfully graduating!"
"And, your outfit is really cool!"
The principal handed the graduation certificate to Peter in front of him, then, looking at the burly figure, resembling the real Superman standing before him, filled with an oppressive aura, couldn't help but praise.
"Thank you, principal!"
Peter flashed a smile, not bothering to explain anything.
At this moment, he could completely reveal himself as Superman without any reservations. However, there was no need to publicize his identity as Superman.
"Huh? The Observer, what are you doing here?"
Just as Peter had just received his graduation certificate and was about to face the students below, taking photos with the principal...
He noticed a giant head suddenly appearing above the students.
"Mr. Peter Parker, the infinite universe is facing a great crisis."
"I've come this time hoping to get your help!"
