"Hmph, trying to escape?"
Seeing that Loki didn't appear as he commanded, but instead attempted to flee using his own illusions, Thanos' expression darkened.
Immediately, a blue energy burst from the newly set Space Stone on his glove, sweeping outwards in an instant.
"Ah!"
Accompanied by the shockwave of spatial energy, a disheveled figure fell from the void.
"Ah, Great Lord Thanos, your most loyal subordinate sends you the sincerest greetings."
The disheveled figure, as if just discovering Thanos, came before him and elegantly bowed.
However, despite his efforts to conceal it, a trace of panic lingered in his eyes, impossible to completely erase.
"Damn it, how did Thanos arrive so quickly!"
Loki cursed inwardly, though his face showed utmost respect.
"Hmph, most loyal? I beg to differ."
Thanos looked at Loki with a playful expression, speaking slowly.
"Great Lord Thanos, the loyalty in my heart towards you is as clear as day and night, I dare not defy you even a bit."
Loki defended himself with a fearful expression.
"If so, why didn't you come to join us according to the Great Lord Thanos's instructions?"
Before Thanos could question him, Ebony Maw beside him didn't hesitate to manipulate various objects around, instantly restraining Loki's body and questioning him.
And the scepter in Loki's hand also slipped out of his control, flying directly towards Thanos.
"Great Lord Thanos, the reason I didn't come to join you is because I discovered the existence of the Tesseract on Earth and planned to secretly seize it. Then, I intended to create a cosmic wormhole through it to deploy your army and completely annihilate Earth."
"But I didn't expect that before I could act, you actually came in person."
Bound Loki nervously explained.
Thanos merely glanced at him, then turned his gaze to the mind scepter in front of him.
Immediately, he slowly took the mind scepter from the air.
Gripping the top of the scepter, where the Mind Stone was located.
Crack!
The shell of the Mind Stone was instantly crushed, scattering all over the ground.
Ding!
He casually threw the now useless scepter on the ground, gripping the Mind Stone emitting a yellow light.
Then, he slowly embedded it into the Infinity Gauntlet on his left hand.
Ding!
With a crisp sound as it was embedded.
The majestic power of the mind instantly poured into Thanos's body through his arm.
"Congratulations, my Lord, on obtaining another Infinity Stone. Your great plan is about to be realized."
Looking at the three Infinity Stones on the glove, everyone could feel the terrifying power of Thanos at this moment.
"What should we do with this traitor?"
Ebony Maw pointed at Loki and asked slowly.
"Forget it, let him face the consequences when my plan is complete."
At this moment, Thanos, with three stones in hand, didn't care about Loki's life or death.
As the Space Stone on the glove flickered, a blue temporal wormhole appeared behind him.
In an instant, it enveloped everyone, disappearing from the spot.
...
"What? More aliens descending on Earth? And they've invaded our secret base?"
As Thanos invaded the base to seize the Space Stone within the Cosmic Cube.
Far away in New York, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury, also received the news.
"Director, the aliens invading this time are extremely powerful. In just a few minutes, we've completely lost contact with the base. It's possible that..."
At this moment, Agent Hill's expression was grim. It had been only a few minutes since they received news of the invasion, and they had already lost all contact. One can only imagine the severity of the attack.
"Have we completely lost contact?"
Nick Fury's expression was equally grave.
Whether the base was completely destroyed was secondary. The most important thing was that within that base were countless research materials on the Cosmic Cube, and most importantly, the Cosmic Cube itself.
"Immediately dispatch nearby military and air force units for support. We must ensure that the Cosmic Cube doesn't fall into the hands of the aliens!"
After pondering for a moment, Nick Fury issued a serious order.
He had a feeling that if the Cosmic Cube fell into the hands of these aliens, something very bad would happen.
"Understood, Director, I'll contact the military immediately."
Agent Hill also understood the urgency of the situation and quickly left to contact the military for support.
After Agent Hill left, Nick Fury didn't hesitate.
He picked up the phone and dialed.
"Mr. Nick Fury, hello."
Soon, the phone connected, and a magnetic voice came through.
"Professor X, I'm sorry to bother you at this time, but the situation is urgent. Earth is once again threatened by extraterrestrials!"
Nick Fury didn't conceal anything and directly revealed the events that had occurred.
"These are the images of the extraterrestrials invading Earth and the simple data we've collected."
As he spoke, Nick Fury also transmitted the data they had just collected.
On the other side, on a solitary island in the ocean, atop a newly built mansion on Krakoa Island.
Sitting in a wheelchair, Professor X, while talking to Nick Fury, didn't forget to speak to the beast beside him.
"Hank, bring up the data we just received."
"Right away, Professor."
The beast, with blue skin like a monster, didn't hesitate either, directly operating the system.
In an instant, a huge virtual image appeared before them.
It seemed to be a space image captured by satellites.
The first thing that caught their eyes was the vast expanse of space above the Earth.
Originally, space was just dark.
But with the visible ripples in space.
A huge spaceship suddenly appeared in the space near Earth.
And with the appearance of the spaceship, the image captured by the satellite seemed to be hit by a powerful electromagnetic wave, instantly losing the picture.
It could be said that the image of the alien spacecraft was captured for just a moment.
But even in that moment, the faces of Professor X and the Beast became incredibly heavy.
"This is... Thanos's ship?"
The Beast quickly froze the frame where the alien warship could be clearly seen, his eyes filled with solemnity.
"Yes, it is indeed Thanos's ship. In another universe, we've personally witnessed this warship!"
Compared to the Beast, Professor X had more authority in this matter.
Because he had once traveled to Titan with Doctor Strange and other superheroes from their universe to battle Thanos.
In the end, it was only with Doctor Strange's outburst that they finally managed to defeat Thanos in their universe.
And it was precisely because of this that their universe was destroyed.
And now, this threat from another universe had descended upon their new home.
"Professor, what should we do now?"
At this moment, the Beast's face was solemn, waiting for Professor X's decision.
"Immediately recall all X-Men members..."
At this point, Professor X paused for a moment, then continued.
"Inform Erik, tell him that we have encountered the greatest crisis from a new universe!"
...
"The cosmic tyrant, Thanos, with six infinite power Infinity Stones, planning to destroy half of the universe's lives?"
At this moment, after ending the call with Professor X,
Nick Fury's complexion visibly turned ugly.
Even as the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., he couldn't help but feel a hint of disbelief.
But he understood clearly that the crisis at hand wasn't just a threat to humanity on Earth.
It threatened the safety of the entire universe.
Thinking of the universe, a figure flashed in Nick Fury's mind.
The next moment, without hesitation, he took out an old-fashioned pager from his pocket.
With a determined look, he pressed it without a moment's hesitation.
Buzzing!
As the image on the pager displayed a blue stripe and a golden star, Nick Fury's expression finally eased a bit.
"I hope you can make it back in time!"
At this moment, Nick Fury wasn't sure if Captain Marvel could make it back in such a vast universe.
"But we can't rely solely on her."
However, the entire Earth still faced a threat from the cosmic tyrant Thanos, and they must unite as one.
"Fortunately, Professor X provided me with some important information."
Even as the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., he had never imagined that Earth hid so many mysterious powerhouses.
"The Supreme Sorceress of Kamar-Taj?"
Just as Nick Fury murmured the most important name from the list provided by Professor X,
A golden ring slowly appeared in his office.
"You... Are you the Sorcerer Supreme?"
Nick Fury looked at the bald woman in yellow robes who walked out of the portal with a surprised expression, unable to help but confirm.
"Yes, I am the Ancient One. Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Nick Fury."
The Ancient One greeted Nick Fury calmly.
Then, with a wave of her hand, several more rings appeared in the empty space of the office.
"How... How is this possible?"
Nick Fury looked shocked at everything.
And he wasn't the only one feeling shocked; every figure appearing in the rings felt the same.
"I apologize for disturbing you all in this manner, but Earth is facing an unprecedented threat. We must unite and resist the threat from Thanos."
The Ancient One spoke solemnly to every person who had arrived through the portal.
Then, before they could respond with their astonishment, the surroundings suddenly changed.
On a desolate uninhabited planet, several figures suddenly appeared.
"This is an uninhabited planet far from Earth. Here, we will engage in a true final battle with Thanos."
...
At the same time, within the warship above Earth's atmosphere.
"Is there still an Infinity Stone present on Earth, and have we located its position?"
Seated atop his throne, Thanos, his gaze full of authority, asked Ebony Maw.
"I'm sorry, Lord Thanos, my subordinates have been ineffective."
"The other Stone seems to be guarded by a powerful entity. We can only detect its presence on Earth but not its exact location. It appears to be concealed by some formidable force."
Ebony Maw knelt on the ground, his face filled with fear.
"A Stone guardian?"
Thanos's expression remained calm, seemingly unsurprised.
"I had already hoped to avoid unnecessary bloodshed."
Thanos's plan was to gather the six Infinity Stones and, after snapping his fingers, silently eradicate half of the universe's life.
To him, this was a form of mercy, allowing life to fade away without suffering.
However, the current situation forced him to choose cruelty once again.
"In that case, prepare for a full-scale invasion of Earth."
"I want to see what happens when I conquer the entire planet and personally slaughter every last human."
"Can that Stone guardian continue to hide?"
Thanos didn't want to increase the death toll needlessly, but that didn't mean he was inclined toward kindness.
To obtain the Stone and fulfill his grand plan, he would spare no expense.
"Yes, Lord Thanos, I will make the preparations immediately!"
Feeling the endless killing intent emanating from Thanos, even Ebony Maw couldn't help but shiver.
"Wait, there's no need. I've already sensed the Stone's aura and its location."
However, Thanos suddenly spoke, stopping Ebony Maw as he was about to leave to prepare.
"Hehe, it seems this Stone guardian is quite confident, daring to challenge me to a showdown."
"In that case, I'll indulge you!"
A slight smile played on Thanos's lips, seemingly mocking the audacity of certain individuals.
...
"Supreme Sorceress, are you sure Thanos will abandon a full-scale attack on Earth and come here alone to face us in battle?"
At this moment, on a desolate uninhabited planet.
Dozens of figures stood behind the Ancient One, some expressing doubts.
"Don't worry. As a conceited powerhouse, he will come."
The Ancient One remained calm, seeming to have everything under control.
"But can we really defeat that terrifying figure, renowned throughout the universe? Moreover, you said that terrifying figure has just obtained several Infinity Stones containing infinite power."
Not everyone was as confident as the Ancient One.
"Don't worry, we don't need to defeat him outright. We just need to stall him for some time..."
"By then, true powerhouses will come to our aid."
The Ancient One spoke mysteriously.
"Are you referring to...?"
At this moment, a powerful figure appeared in everyone's minds.
The true powerhouse who could forcibly separate even fused universes.
"Yes, he's on his way."
The Ancient One smiled, not minding boosting the confidence of the others.
"In that case, we can give it our all!"
The confidence of everyone soared at this moment.
"Everyone, be alert. Thanos is about to arrive!"
However, the smile disappeared from the Ancient One's face the next moment, replaced by a grave expression as she looked at the slowly emerging blue wormhole before her.
