At the entrance of the Collector's luxurious gallery in the Void of Knowhere, a group of unexpected guests arrived today.
"Captain, this is it!"
Pointing ahead, Valor solemnly introduced to Peter.
"The three of us will go in together, and you guys stay outside."
Peter pointed to Valor and the clear but foolish-eyed Groot.
Immediately, the three of them slowly entered the gallery.
"Sir, hello, Master Collector has sent me to wait here for a long time. Please follow me."
Just as they entered, they saw a purple-skinned alien maid who seemed to have been waiting for a long time.
After speaking to Peter and the others, the maid turned and led the way into the gallery.
And Peter followed without hesitation.
"Captain, it seems like they've known we were coming for a long time. Could it be an ambush?"
Valor hesitated for a moment, but still followed Peter and whispered in his ear.
"Don't worry, even if there is an ambush, there's no need to fear."
As the ruler behind the Knowhere, the Collector being able to know of their arrival in advance was nothing unusual.
Moreover, Peter was naturally bold and courageous, and even if there were an ambush, it wouldn't be able to harm him in the slightest.
"Since the captain is so confident, then I naturally have nothing to worry about."
At this moment, having witnessed Peter's strength from before, Valor didn't hesitate much either. He followed Peter's pace and slowly entered this peculiar gallery.
Soon, under the lead of the maid, the few of them entered the interior of the gallery.
And Valor and Groot couldn't help but look around with eyes full of curiosity and amazement at the numerous precious collections displayed around them.
"This... the Collector truly lives up to being the richest person in the universe!"
Having roamed the universe for decades, Valor considered himself knowledgeable.
But at this moment, looking at the numerous rare and seldom-seen items displayed around him, his eyes couldn't help but reveal strong shock.
Every collection here was rare throughout the entire universe.
Even if any one of them were taken out, it would be more valuable than all their wealth combined.
Furthermore, aside from the rare items from the universe, there were also many extraterrestrial beings imprisoned in glass containers, on the verge of extinction throughout the universe.
"The Skrulls, the Titans, the Dark Elves, the Light Elves..."
Just by walking a few dozen steps, Valor was extremely surprised to find many rare species that were not commonly seen in the universe.
And these were the species he could recognize after roaming the universe for decades.
Among them, there were many species he didn't even recognize.
For example, a dog-shaped creature wearing a spacesuit, and a duck sitting with its legs crossed, curiously looking at them.
...
And compared to the astonished Valor,
With them was Groot, who stared with his clear and childish little eyes, scanning every peculiar creature.
As if he had seen something that made him very curious.
Before reaching a collection covered by a glass containing a puddle of black pus, he couldn't restrain his strong curiosity.
Approaching, he lightly tapped the outer wall of the transparent cover with his own dried branch-formed hand.
Puff!
Suddenly, as if awakened, the black liquid puddle jumped up abruptly, extending dark tentacles, clinging to the inner wall of the transparent cover like an octopus.
"I am Groot (Ah, it's so scary!)"
Groot was directly frightened by the sudden situation, falling to the ground and sitting there, continuously backing away.
Continuously retreating, Groot's back touched another container placed on the ground.
And once again, filled with curiosity, Groot couldn't help but look at the container emitting green smoke, unable to see what was inside.
"I am Groot (What is this?)"
With widened eyes, almost sticking to the container wall, wanting to see clearly what was inside.
"Hiss!"
Suddenly, a grotesque and terrifying creature burst out of the thick smoke, directly crashing into the cover.
With a snake-like body, its open mouth was full of sharp teeth, looking extremely terrifying.
"I am Groot (Scary bad guy!)"
Although somewhat prepared, Groot, who was still frightened, flashed a hint of anger in his eyes.
His dried arm began to rapidly grow, quickly forming a wooden giant hammer.
And it was about to swing in anger.
"To think there's still something like this here?"
Originally not attracted by these collections, Peter, looking at this special creature, was filled with confusion and curiosity.
He didn't expect that in the Marvel Universe where he resided, there would still be such special creatures.
"As guests arrive, I am delighted!"
Suddenly, a figure slowly approached them, elegantly placing his hands in front of his chest and performing a special gesture.
"I am very pleased to meet you two esteemed guests. I am Taneleer Tivan. You can call me T'van, or you can call me—The Collector!"
A figure with white hair and elegant demeanor slowly raised his head, casually introducing himself with a relaxed tone.
But Peter could feel strong curiosity and a hint of greed in his gaze as he looked at him.
"Humph, your gaze makes me very uncomfortable."
Feeling the almost undisguised gaze of the Collector, Peter snorted coldly.
"I'm sorry, sir. Your physique is just too precious and irresistible..."
The Collector was not angry, but instead smiled apologetically.
"I have never seen a special existence like you before. Perhaps in the entire universe, there is no creature comparable to you!"
"If possible, you must sell your body to me. You can name your price freely, and I will not haggle, and I can pay in advance."
However, what he said next made Peter's face even colder.
"Want to buy my body? I'm afraid you won't live to that day!"
Anyone who heard such words probably wouldn't have a good expression.
And Peter, with a cold expression, directly threatened.
"Rest assured, besides having the richest wealth in the universe, the rest is endless life. Even if the universe collapses, I can completely afford to wait!"
However, faced with Peter's cold expression, the Collector still smiled indifferently, slowly opening his mouth, seeming full of confidence in his tone.
"Endless life? Hehe, as far as I know, you seem to be about to be..."
Suddenly, a mocking smile appeared on Peter's face as he slowly spoke.
"Killed by the Universal Lord Thanos, right?"
However, the Collector seemed to have wanted to know what Peter would say long ago, and his expression remained calm as he added.
"Among the numerous future trajectories, there is indeed such a possibility."
"Unfortunately, the future of this universe has completely collapsed, and everything will no longer proceed on a normal trajectory..."
The Collector's expression seemed to be able to see the future, making people feel very uncomfortable.
"Now that you know everything, I'm sure you also know the purpose of my visit today?"
At this moment, Peter finally confirmed that the Collector in front of him was not like the small character in the movie, someone who could be bullied at will.
Instead, he was described as in the comics, possessing extremely powerful abilities, and even able to foresee the future.
"Naturally, sir..."
The Collector still had a smile on his face.
"Then I won't waste any more words!"
Originally, Peter was prepared to take action because of Groot's situation, but now, it was unnecessary.
Instantly, Peter's eyes emitted a dazzling golden light, terrifying energy instantly transformed into a golden pillar of light, unhesitatingly shooting towards the Collector in front of him.
...
Tch!
However, before the golden pillar of light could hit the Collector, a ripple suddenly appeared in the space in front of his body.
The golden pillar of light penetrated into it, as if entering a special space, causing no harm to the Collector.
"Apologies, even if esteemed guests want to take action, it's best to find another place. I don't want to destroy any of the precious collections I've gathered here!"
The smile on the Collector's face finally disappeared, and he spoke with a serious expression.
And the next moment, Peter was surprised to find that the scene around them had changed, and they were now in the midst of a starry sky.
"Where... are they?"
Only Valor and Groot remained in place, looking surprised at the two who had disappeared.
"You two, come in quickly. While the captain and the Collector are fighting, let's quickly move everything here!"
However, Valor's curiosity only lasted a moment.
He suddenly picked up the communicator and notified the crew waiting outside the door.
"Oh, don't forget to have those guys bring the spaceship over!"
He added afterwards.
"Hehe, we're really going to strike it rich this time!"
After giving all the orders, Valor couldn't help but look at the precious collections around him, revealing a face that was extremely ugly yet extremely bright smile.
"Damn bastards!"
In the distant cosmic sky.
Even before Peter could make a move, the Collector's face suddenly became extremely ugly.
"What? Afraid now?"
Peter looked at the ugly-faced Collector with disdain, mocking.
"Humph, after I defeat you, I'll go back and deal with your blind lackeys."
In the end, the Collector gave up on the idea of going back to stop Valor and the others from looting, and focused his gaze on Peter once again.
"In fact, I'm curious. In the future I foresaw, you never appeared."
"And, there's a terrifying power hidden within your body."
"Perhaps, by obtaining your body, I can break through the limitations of the universe and achieve an unprecedented level of power."
As one of the oldest races in the universe, the Collector had already given up his desire for power.
His nearly endless and immortal life had caused him to lose many of the emotions he once had.
In order to find a purpose to continue living, he forced himself to choose a hobby and turned it into his motivation for survival.
Different from his brother, the Grandmaster, who liked to watch fights, he chose to collect the most precious things in the universe as his collections.
However, at this moment, seeing Peter, who was extremely special and never existed in the original trajectory of the universe, he suddenly rekindled his desire for power.
Because he could feel that by obtaining Peter's body, he could even break through the limitations of the universe and achieve a transformation of cosmic-level power.
The endless multiverse would be his future journey.
...
"Want to get my body? It depends on whether you have enough strength!"
Feeling the Collector's coveting gaze on his body, Peter also hesitated no longer, directly bursting forth with all his power.
With power almost akin to a golden superhuman, his body instantly emitted a dazzling golden light, rendering him completely golden.
Like a star emitting a dazzling light, illuminating the entire starry sky!
"Yes, this kind of power, this is what I've been waiting for, something more precious than the entire universe!"
At this moment, feeling the immense momentum emanating from Peter, the Collector not only did not feel any fear, but his eyes were filled with endless greed.
Boom!
The tremendous power continued to erupt within Peter's body.
Under the terrifying force, the surrounding space began to collapse inch by inch, and the immense power even swept across the entire galaxy.
"What's happening?"
Countless people felt this terrifying aura and couldn't help but look up at the void, their eyes filled with shock.
On Nidavellir, home of the dwarves.
With a golden glove on his left hand and a double-bladed sword in his right, after cruelly slaughtering a group of tall dwarves, Thanos suddenly felt this terrifying aura, his face filled with shock as he looked towards the void, his eyes incredibly serious.
"Deathblade, deal with these guys."
"Ebony Maw, let's go. There's a major change in the universe. We need to collect all the Infinity Stones as soon as possible to complete my grand plan!"
At this moment, Thanos felt the power even stronger than that of a god and finally no longer hesitated.
Without any hesitation, he left General Deadhblade to handle things here, and with the rest of his subordinates, he directly activated the spaceship and headed towards Xandar.
He needed to obtain the Infinity Stones as soon as possible, otherwise, he would be unable to confront this powerful being shaking the universe.
Meanwhile, in a certain star system, on a planet teeming with life.
An old man with white hair also sensed such a powerful aura.
"Who on earth possesses a power stronger than mine?"
As one of the oldest beings in existence, he had rarely felt such immense power before.
"No, I must quickly find my successor who has inherited my power and then begin the plan to devour the entire universe. Otherwise, this person will definitely become the biggest obstacle to my plan."
The next moment, he suddenly stood up, without any hesitation, and walked into a spacecraft, directly leaving the planet's surface.
At the same time.
Facing Peter, the Collector's expression also became incredibly serious.
Without further hesitation, he revealed his extremely terrifying power for the first time.
With his hands placed in front of him, palms facing each other, a breath full of annihilation gradually emerged between his palms.
The next moment, a small black dot darker than the universe began to appear and rapidly expand.
Within the black dot not only contained an extremely intense breath of annihilation, but also an incredibly terrifying gravitational force.
Even the surrounding light couldn't escape, being pulled into it, swirling around, forming a terrifying sight resembling a black hole.
No, it wasn't just a resemblance.
That was actually a miniature black hole with infinite mass.
With the appearance of the black hole, the Collector's face showed an incredibly crazy expression, continuing to infuse it with energy.
In an instant, what was originally a black hole less than the size of a ping pong ball, something that could be held in one hand, began to rapidly expand.
In less than a second, it had expanded to a diameter of dozens of meters.
Held above the Collector's head with one hand, it continued to rotate, pulling everything around it, including the dazzling golden light emanating from Peter.
"Try this for size!"
With the black hole fully formed in his hand, the Collector didn't hesitate to throw it directly towards Peter in front of him, his eyes filled with madness.
