[Superman] Chapter 100: Invasion of Earth! (Long Chapter)
🕑 Added 2024-03-09 04:46:50 +0000 UTC"Loki, we've helped you conquer Jotunheim, when will we start the attack on Earth?"
General Executioner, wielding a golden battle blade, came to the palace and questioned Loki, who was seated on the throne.
"Great Lord Thanos doesn't have ample time for you to waste here..."
Originally, Executioner thought that after Loki conquered Jotunheim, he would lead the army to attack Earth directly.
However, even after waiting for several days, WidowmExecutioneraker didn't receive the order from Loki to attack Earth.
Unable to contain his patience any longer, he came to inquire Loki.
"General Executioner, please be patient."
Loki replied with a smile on his face.
"Of course, we will attack Midgard, but we cannot rush it. We must make adequate preparations and plans, otherwise..."
Deep down, Loki wished to attack Earth as soon as possible.
After all, since learning of the complete destruction of Asgard, every moment in his heart was filled with intense sadness and anguish.
But Loki was well aware that without a comprehensive plan, even with their powerful army, they couldn't truly conquer the entire Earth.
"Hmph! I hope you remember your oath to Lord Thanos, otherwise, you will face his wrath and cruel punishment!"
In the end, General Executioner left with a heart full of anger.
After all, at this moment, he also had to obey Loki's orders.
"Hmph, these fools, do they really think that Thanos is the invincible ruler of the entire universe?"
Perhaps Thanos was powerful, but in Loki's eyes, there were many beings in the universe stronger than Thanos.
Apart from his deceased father, unfortunately, there was one on Earth...
"I must find a way to make Thanos and that Earthling start fighting first, while I take the opportunity to lead the army and completely conquer Earth, reaping the benefits..."
A cunning gleam flashed in Loki's eyes as he pondered continuously on how to instigate them into fighting each other.
"Since you are so eager to attack Earth, to make achievements and fame, then I'll give you a 'chance for achievement'..."
Suddenly, a sinister look flashed in Loki's eyes as he watched the departing figure of General Executioner.
...
For the next period of time, Loki seemed to still be immersed in the excitement of becoming the king of Jotunheim.
It seemed that he had completely forgotten about the plan to attack Earth.
Not only that, he often sent Black Dwarf out to use Thanos's powerful army to fight in the Nine Realms.
It was as if he wanted to use Thanos's power to make himself the new ruler of the Nine Realms.
And Thanos's army was indeed formidable.
In less than a month, Loki used Thanos's army to reclaim most of the chaotic regions in the Nine Realms after the loss of Asgard's rule, incorporating them back into his territory.
It could be said that at this moment, Jotunheim had almost replaced the original Asgard.
And Loki gained immense glory, replacing Odin as the new ruler of the Nine Realms.
Although many people did not acknowledge this position of the ruler of the Nine Realms.
For example, the Dark Elf race, which is still resisting Loki's leadership.
Suddenly, above the silent Jotunheim, Black Dwarf's ship landed again.
"Black Dwarf, where were you sent by that cunning guy this time?"
As the ship landed, General Executioner walked towards Black Dwarf, his tone somewhat cold.
During this time, Loki had always sent Black Dwarf and his army to fight for him in the Nine Realms, all of which were seen by General Executioner.
This made him extremely angry and anxious.
"A few days ago, Loki ordered me to lead the army to attack Svartalfheim, where the Dark Elves are located, and completely occupy it."
"But the strength of the Dark Elves is not weak, and we have not completely defeated them yet. I'm afraid this war will last for several months..."
"And Loki ordered us to come back for some supplies, and then go back to fight the Dark Elves again!"
As fellow subordinates of Thanos, Black Dwarf naturally had nothing to hide from General Executioner.
He didn't hesitate to speak out Loki's orders.
"This cunning guy? What is he up to? Why not lead the army directly to attack Earth, but to attack other more difficult-to-conquer realms?"
General Executioner was filled with anger at this moment.
On one hand, he was afraid that Loki's current actions would delay the important matter instructed by Thanos, which was to attack Earth.
They would also be punished by Thanos along with Loki.
On the other hand, he felt Loki's distrust.
He would rather send this somewhat less intelligent Black Dwarf to occupy other realms than send him.
It seemed more like distrust in him, rather than distrust.
"Is this guy afraid that I'll steal his credit?"
At this moment, General Executioner seemed to have found the reason why Loki didn't send him to battle.
"No, I have to go find him..."
Thinking of this, General Executioner marched angrily towards Loki's palace.
...
"Hey, Loki, this time, I want to go to battle with Black Dwarf against the Dark Elves."
Facing Loki, General Executioner directly said without any courtesy.
"General Executioner, why did you suddenly make such a request?"
Loki looked at the angry General Executioner, a sinister expression flashing across his face: "Finally couldn't resist?"
"Hmph, as the most loyal subordinate of Lord Thanos, fighting for Lord Thanos is my glory!"
General Executioner brought up Thanos directly.
"General Executioner, you seem to not truly understand my current plan. Attacking Midgard must be carefully considered."
"After we completely occupy the entire Nine Realms, we will gather our forces and lead the entire army of the Nine Realms to march on Midgard with overwhelming momentum!"
"At that time, Midgard will inevitably be completely crushed by our mighty army."
"And your role as General Executioner is very important at the moment. Jotunheim is the most important rear base in our plan."
"Guarding this place is an indispensable part of the plan."
"So, General Executioner, I hope you can understand that this place must be guarded by you personally!"
"When everything goes according to plan, I will personally plead with Lord Thanos for your merits!"
Loki explained his plan with a smile on his face.
"You... Hmph!"
General Executioner didn't expect Loki to refuse his request again.
Moreover, he even mentioned Thanos.
"It sounds nice. When the plan succeeds, pleading for my merits in front of Lord Thanos?"
"But if the plan fails, this cunning guy will surely report me to Lord Thanos? Blame me for everything?"
Feeling clever, General Executioner almost instantly thought of a deeper step.
If their plan to conquer Earth succeeded in the end, then his contribution would be so small that it could be completely ignored.
But if their plan failed, the cunning Loki could completely shift all the blame onto him.
And if Thanos believed the slander of this cunning and cunning guy, wouldn't he... become the scapegoat for this cunning and cunning guy?
Although General Executioner was confident that the wise Lord Thanos would not believe what this cunning and cunning guy said.
But inevitably, he would be blamed for not doing his best to fulfill Lord Thanos's orders.
"Hmph, since you're afraid I'll steal your credit and delay the war on Earth, then don't blame me..."
"For the great Lord Thanos! Your most faithful servant will personally carry out your orders!"
Without saying another word, General Executioner turned and left without even saying goodbye.
Immediately, he assembled all the troops without hesitation.
"Black Dwarf, this time we march together!"
General Executioner had almost assembled all of Thanos's legions at this moment, and then said to Black Dwarf who was preparing to set out.
"Did that guy agree?"
Black Dwarf was curious.
"No, that cunning guy, afraid that I'll steal his credit, how could he agree!"
General Executioner was full of anger.
"Then aren't you... disobeying orders?"
"Hmph, as a servant of Lord Thanos, I dedicate everything to Lord Thanos and obey his orders."
"But this cunning Asgardian, he refused to follow Lord Thanos's instructions and attack Earth."
"I think he's just using Lord Thanos's power to complete his own plan to conquer the Nine Realms and become the new ruler of the Nine Realms."
"Now, I order everyone to give up continuing to fight the Nine Realms."
At this moment, General Executioner raised his war blade high and shouted at Thanos's legions.
"Target - Earth, launch the attack!"
Immediately, the fleet changed its course directly and marched towards Earth!
"Hehe, clever guy."
At some point, Loki had already walked out of the palace, watching the army change course and head towards Earth, revealing a smirk of success.
"Laufey."
"Master, your most faithful servant, always obeys your orders."
"Half an hour later, inform Lord Thanos that General Executioner has disobeyed orders and led the army to attack Earth without authorization!"
"We have assembled the remaining troops to chase after General Executioner and prepare to stop his reckless actions."
Loki's face became serious, as if General Executioner had indeed disobeyed orders and led the army to Earth.
"I will obey your orders, Master!"
Laufey went down to assemble the remaining forces of Thanos, along with his Frost Giant army.
"Hmph, I look forward to hearing the news of your defeat!"
Loki revealed a sinister smile.
...
Above the Earth's space, within a huge space station.
At this moment, it had been almost half a month since they captured the cosmic storm.
During this time, Reed almost locked himself in the laboratory every day, diligently researching this special cosmic storm.
In addition to studying the cosmic storm itself, Reed was also looking for possible directions to fulfill Mr. Fantastic's orders.
However, after further research, Reed had not yet figured out how to make a detector for this type of energy.
But he discovered the powerful special properties contained in this energy.
For example, at this moment, Reed was looking at two white mice trapped in special glass containers with a surprised expression.
And in front of one of the clear-eyed white mice, the other white mouse actually floated up out of thin air, then its body instantly collapsed and burst apart.
The debris of the body and the splattered blood almost stained the entire glass container, but there was not a single drop of blood on the living white mouse.
The mouse's fur was still white, and it seemed to sense Reed's observation, its clear eyes staring through the camera at Reed in front of the screen.
"This... is truly incredible! Fortunately, Mr. Fantastic anticipated these situations early on and specifically asked me to create these special containers for biological experiments."
Even through the screen, Reed could feel the anger in the eyes of the white mouse at this moment.
If its container was not special, capable of isolating and shielding all energies, even mental energy, Reed would probably have exploded like the previous white mouse.
"This cosmic storm is truly incredible, actually capable of altering the genetic sequences of organisms, causing them to evolve and possess powerful special abilities."
Reed exclaimed, preparing to record this special situation and inform Peter later.
However, in the space not far from the space station.
Space suddenly rippled, then quickly began to distort.
Buzz!
The next moment, a huge spaceship, almost teleporting-like, tore through space and arrived above Earth.
"Warning! Warning! Detected alien spacecraft approaching, defense systems automatically activated..."
The artificial intelligence system of the space station suddenly sounded urgent alarms.
And without any human command, it directly activated the defense systems according to the defense protocol.
In almost an instant, the entire space station was enveloped in a transparent bubble shield.
"That is? An alien spaceship?"
At this moment, countless people in the space station heard the alarm.
And they saw, projected on the big screen, the huge alien spaceship that suddenly appeared.
"Quick, inform Superman!"
Reed spoke without hesitation.
Regardless of whether it was an alien invasion of Earth at this time, they must notify Superman of this news.
"Sorry, Superman is not on Earth at the moment..."
"This... what should we do?"
Reed was a little anxious, his thoughts racing.
"Right, quickly notify S.H.I.E.L.D., let them prepare for the alien invasion of Earth!"
The situation was urgent, and Reed instantly thought of S.H.I.E.L.D.
At the same time, on the ship of Thanos's legion.
"General Executioner, we have arrived above Earth and found a defensive spacecraft from Earth."
"Earth's spacecraft? Activate the ship's cannons and destroy it for me."
General Executioner ordered without hesitation.
"Hmph, the war has begun from this moment!"
"Insignificant Earthlings, prepare to be destroyed!"
General Executioner prepared to destroy the Earth's spacecraft as the first step, truly initiating this invasion war.
Boom! A huge energy beam surged from Thanos's ship and instantly hit the space station.
"No!"
All the people in the space station, watching the other party launch the attack without hesitation, couldn't help but close their eyes.
They never expected that the invasion from aliens would start so abruptly.
However, with their eyes closed, they did not realize that death was descending upon them.
"Great!"
The moment they opened their eyes, they saw that the energy beam had been successfully blocked by the shield, only causing a faint ripple.
"Report to General Executioner, the enemy spacecraft has a highly advanced defense system. It may take several hours to defeat it."
General Executioner, who was originally full of confidence, received a surprising message.
"How is that possible? With such a low level of technology on Earth, they actually have such an advanced defense system?"
General Executioner was somewhat incredulous.
Did this so-called Earth focus all its technology on defense?
"Hmph, in that case, bypass this ship and directly invade the land of Earth!"
Although the first attack was thwarted, General Executioner did not hesitate to order the invasion of Earth.
The next moment, the people of the entire New York City found that a huge alien spaceship was gradually breaking through the clouds in the sky above New York City.
Its ferocious appearance seemed full of oppression, and its huge shadow covered the land.
"Oh no, aliens are invading Earth!"
The entire world fell into a momentary silence.
But the next moment, the entire city instantly became chaotic.
