[Genshin Impact] Chapter 94: Blue Spirit
🕑 Added 2024-03-05 17:38:54 +0000 UTCAfter the minor incident, Ellin became more adept in battle. The most dangerous Hilichurl Berserker was taken out first, and the remaining normal Hilichurls were also injured by the Overload Reaction Blast.
So, with a little effort, Ellin successfully defeated them all.
"Great! Now we can retrieve all our goods!" exclaimed a member of the gathering team joyfully.
"Thank you!"
The captain of the gathering team said with some emotion. Although he had been an adventurer before and was quite skilled, he could never achieve a one-shot kill on a Hilichurl Berserker.
And this was already quite impressive among ordinary adventurers. The girl with the Vision would surely be even stronger.
As for the girl named Ellin, the captain of the gathering team guessed that she was probably a novice adventurer with little experience.
After all, he could tell that she was still training herself in the wilderness.
"No problem. You all should check if any goods were lost though. It'd be a pity if the sales don't even cover the commission fee!" Nolan laughed lightly as he put away his adventurer's bow.
"Haha, if that's the case then we're just unlucky!"
The captain of the gathering team laughed heartily, then called the two members of the gathering team to leave the forest and head towards the small Hilichurl camp.
If not for that Hilichurl Berserker, they could have retrieved the goods themselves. No, without the Hilichurl Berserker, their goods wouldn't have been stolen at all!
Alas, now those goods came with an extra 60,000 Mora commission cost.
Upon inspecting the goods, the whole survey team breathed a sigh of relief. The specialties and wild fruits were largely intact, and most importantly, the transport balloon was undamaged.
Quite fortunate really!
The gathering team paid Nolan and his companions six coins of ten thousand mora each, confirming the perfect completion of the commission, and then they left with the transport hot air balloon.
"They're really generous!" Nolan laughed as he tossed the six glittering coins of mora into the air and caught them.
As Ellin walked over sheathing her dull blade, using her fair hand to wipe traces of sweat from her brow, she said happily:
"Thanks for your help!"
She had come to practice her skills and gain experience. While injuries were best avoided, without her two comrades watching over her, she surely would have gotten smashed in the head back there.
"Why, Miss Ellin, you are our employer after all!" Oz fluttered his night-colored wings beside Fischl.
"Yeah, that's right."
Nolan nodded, then tossed two coins of ten thousand mora to her.
Ellin looked quite surprised, fumbling the golden Mora coins in her soft hands before clutching them with a confused look at Nolan.
"What's this?"
Nolan was about to answer when Fischl raised her fair chin slightly and said, "Hmph~ The meaning of my reliable attendant is that you also contributed to this commission, so naturally, you should get your share of the commission fee!"
A gentle breeze caressed her from behind, the dark purple hem of her dress seemingly fusing with the invisible wind, lightly gliding between her parted legs clad in asymmetrical black stockings.
"Yes, though you are our employer Eileen, you are also a member of this team who contributed significantly. It would be wrong to exclude you from the commission fee allocation."
Nolan smiled and said, then he split the remaining forty thousand mora in half and gave half to Fischl, so everything was divided up evenly.
"Well then, I'll gladly accept it!" Ellin said with a smile on her face.
She was quite happy to earn mora on her own.
[Ellin Has Developed Good Feelings Towards You, Obtained 75 Affection Points. Current Affection Level Lv.2 (35/200)]
"I heard from my dad that Hilichurls bring treasures chests they find back to their camps. Why don't we look around and see if there are any nearby?" Ellin suggested as she pocketed the Mora.
"Good point."
Nolan nodded, recalling how when exploring the game world before, he often discovered treasure chests near Hilichurl camps.
Then the group looked around, but they didn't find any traces of chests.
Fischl stood with her legs slightly closed, the black and purple hem of her skirt lightly brushing against her black stockings, revealing a glimpse of her fair skin on her calves.
She crossed her arms, her fair fingers resting between her soft arm and her side chest, her emerald eyes looking into the simple hilichurl shack.
"Did Your Highness find anything?" Nolan asked as he returned empty-handed.
He could easily see the situation inside the shack from outside. Apart from two square wooden crates, there were only scattered vegetables and wild fruits.
"My Eyes of Revelation see all secrets hidden here. Go forth, my loyal attendant. A precious rarity lies within those unassuming crates!"
Fischl's mouth curled up, confidently pointing at the wooden crate inside the shack.
"Oh?" Nolan was slightly surprised. Could there really be something inside?
While Little Amy's Eyes of Revelation were likely just fantasy, perhaps there were indeed treasures to be found.
Nolan drew his Dull Blade +20 and gave the crates a few slashes upon entering.
The reinforced steel blade passed through the wood like water, effortlessly splitting the crates into three pieces that clattered to the ground.
"Hmph hmph~ Did this princess not speak true?"
Fischl lightly stroked the black fishnet top of her off-shoulder short dress, her face slightly lifted, her fair and delicate jawline facing Nolan.
"...Indeed you did!"
Nolan said with a somewhat surprised nod.
In the spot where the crate was split, a translucent aquamarine little spirit was floating and swaying.
Although it wasn't a treasure chest, finding a blue spirit was almost the same as finding a treasure chest.
Mysterious Seelie or Blue Spirits were peculiar beings that guided players to solve puzzles and find chests in the original game world, seemingly holding the same purpose here.
Every adventurer considered encountering a spirit as lucky. Following it would lead to discovering chests, and if encountered in a predicament, it might even lead to finding a way out!
"Wow! It's a blue spirit!"
Ellin exclaimed with excitement as she approached. As the daughter of an adventurer, she naturally knew a lot about blue spirits.
She had often heard tales from her father about how adorable spirits looked. To unexpectedly encounter one today!
"This is my first time seeing such a wondrous creature. Why don't we follow it and see if we can discover any treasures?" Ellin suggested eagerly.
"Of course we should!" Nolan smiled in response.
