🕑 Added 2024-03-03 08:00:11 +0000 UTCAsgard.
Hela, lurking in the shadows, had already seen everything regarding Thor evacuating all the people of Asgard.
However, she only needed Asgard itself and didn't care about its inhabitants. Even without people, she had her army of the dead. So, she didn't come out to stop him. In fact, she was quite pleased to see Thor do so.
"Once that foolish boy leads them away, Asgard will be mine."
However, while she was fantasizing about becoming the ruler of Asgard, she didn't expect her own brother to be so ruthless and heartless.
Not only did he lead all the Asgardians away from Asgard, but he also transformed into a fire giant, personally triggering the Ragnarok, destroying the entire Asgard.
She knew Asgard was the source of her power. How could she stand by and watch it be destroyed?
So, even though her power wasn't at its peak, she didn't hesitate to step forward and try to stop Thor from destroying Asgard.
Facing the sudden appearance of Hela, the giant form of Thor, he didn't hesitate at all. His eyes were filled with brutality and ferocity as he directly wielded his giant axe, fiercely attacking Hela.
Boom!
The massive pillar of dark energy released by Hela was easily shattered by the giant Thor.
Hela's power was no match for Thor's current strength, especially now that he had merged with Surtur's essence and transformed into a fire giant.
"This is impossible!"
Hela's face was filled with disbelief. She couldn't believe Thor was so powerful.
On one hand, she didn't believe Thor could be so strong. On the other hand, she couldn't believe Thor was so determined to destroy all of Asgard.
"You can't destroy Asgard, destroy our home. Are you doing this to honor your dead father, to honor all the people living in Asgard?"
"You are not worthy to be the king of Asgard. You will lead Asgard to destruction."
A massive pillar of dark energy lifted Hela's body, and she angrily roared at Thor.
"Brother, Father once said that Asgard does not refer to this place, but to the people of Asgard!"
"It seems that you don't care about the people of Asgard at all. All you care about is your ambition to conquer everything."
"For the future of Asgard, for the honor of our father, I'm sorry, but I have to do this!"
In the face of Hela's questioning, Thor's eyes temporarily suppressed the brutal emotions and regained some clarity.
However, after saying these words, he was once again filled with endless brutality.
Destruction!
Destroy everything!
Thor's mind was now completely filled with this crazy idea, completely controlled by it. The last trace of clarity in his eyes was completely gone.
"No!"
With Hela's unwilling roar, Thor lifted his giant axe and began to rampage and wreak havoc across the entire territory of Asgard.
In just a few seconds, under the rampage of the fire giant Thor, the entire Asgard quickly became a scene of devastation.
Once magnificent structures crumbled effortlessly at this moment, collapsing with a deafening roar.
Representing the supreme and sacred palace of Asgard, it was instantly shattered, reduced to nothing but ruins.
Even amidst this chaos, Hela continued to gather immense power, attempting to halt Thor.
Yet, she could not inflict any meaningful damage upon him.
In this moment, Thor truly transformed into the Destroyer, bringing about the twilight of the gods.
"Damn it, stop this at once!"
As Thor watched the prosperous Asgard fall to ruins under his gaze, what had been a thriving city mere seconds ago was now reduced to rubble.
Hela was consumed by fury at last.
All her recently regained strength erupted in an instant.
In a flash, countless destroyed halls transformed into dark energies, rapidly converging in the air under the influence of dark forces.
Eventually, they coalesced into a colossal black sword comparable in size to Thor himself.
"Perish!"
And Hela, resembling a judge, swung the enormous black sword with an unstoppable momentum, mercilessly cleaving towards Thor.
Roar!
Accompanied by a roar akin to that of a wild beast, Thor had no intention of evading the attack.
Instead, he boldly met it head-on with his massive axe.
Crack!
As the black sword clashed with the axe, it seemed as though a brilliant supernova had erupted in the skies of Asgard.
A terrifying force instantly swept through the entire realm.
Asgard, already reduced to ruins, became even more devastated under the onslaught of such terrifying power.
The entire city of Asgard vanished without a trace, leaving behind only a vast crater.
"No, this can't be!"
Even now, Hela found it difficult to believe.
The dark sword, formed from all her dark powers, had completely shattered at this moment.
As she gazed at Thor, who had shattered her sword and now wielded his axe towards her without hesitation, a strong sense of disbelief and a hint of fear flickered in her eyes...
Boom!
The flaming axe, containing boundless terror, struck the ground of Asgard with immense force.
The surging flames immediately penetrated the foundation of Asgard's earth, then erupted into crimson magma across the entire realm of Asgard.
The sky emitted a blood-like dark red glow, casting the heavens and the earth in a deep crimson hue.
The raging flames ignited the entire land, and amidst the crimson flames reminiscent of red lotus, Thor, transformed into a giant, still possessed an endless ferocity in his eyes.
Even more so than before.
Once again, he raised his axe, and as the dark red sky and countless flames swiftly converged upon his raised axe, the crimson flames ignited the axe, exuding a suffocating aura of annihilation, and without hesitation, he slammed it heavily towards the ground.
Crack!
Instantly, Asgard split apart at a speed visible to the naked eye.
A terrifying force swept through the entire Asgard, ultimately leading to its complete destruction.
Boom!
Accompanied by a thunderous roar that shook the nine realms, Asgard exploded completely like a burst of fireworks.
"What... have I done?"
In the void of annihilation, the ferocity in Thor's eyes gradually dissipated.
He gazed upon the utterly devastated territory of Asgard, his eyes filled with sorrow.
To destroy one's own home with one's own hands, no one could maintain inner peace.
However, just as Thor was about to suppress his inner sorrow and summon the Bifrost Bridge to depart, he suddenly noticed wisps of gray destructive aura wafting from the annihilated Asgard.
And above the dim sky of Asgard, countless colossal figures appeared seemingly out of nowhere.
They lurked in the dim sky, sitting solemnly under the shadow cast by the already desolate Asgard.
It was as if they were guests at a banquet, yet they seemed like reveling gods.
They appeared to be cheering, celebrating the demise of Asgard.
The gray aura of annihilation drifted in the void, greedily sucked into their beings.
The once faint colossal shadows seemed to become clearer at this moment.
"Who are these people exactly?"
Thor looked at the gods in the shadows with shock and horror, observing the surreal scene.
"And what about the prophecy of Ragnarok? What is going on?"
At this moment, Thor felt a sense of humiliation and deception.
He suddenly began to doubt the authenticity of Ragnarok.
"No!"
As he watched the shadows continuously absorbing the aura of Asgard's destruction, Thor became extremely angry. Without hesitation, he charged towards the shadows, wielding his axe as if to sever their figures.
"Ignorant fools..."
However, with the murmur of an ancient god, one of the shadows suddenly became incredibly solid, then calmly slapped Thor as he rushed towards them.
Boom!
With just one slap, Thor, who had become a giant and destroyed all of Asgard, was directly sent flying.
His massive body was instantly dispersed, reverting to Thor's normal form, and he fell unconscious in the void.
"Haha, let's continue to savor this hard-earned delicacy..."
As another whisper sounded, the figures in the shadows resumed their revelry, their faces filled with satisfaction and enjoyment as they absorbed the wisps of gray aura emitted after Asgard's destruction.
...
On a grassy plain.
"No!"
Thor, lying on the grass, suddenly sat up.
Then, he looked around in confusion.
"Father!"
Suddenly, Thor saw a familiar figure nearby and exclaimed with joy.
"Thor, you have done it after all."
Odin turned around slowly, looking at Thor with a mixture of surprise, as if he already knew about Thor's destruction of Asgard.
"Father, I'm sorry, I had to do this to stop my sister, to crush her ambition of conquering the universe."
Thor lowered his head slowly, explaining his original intention behind triggering Ragnarok.
"Sigh, everything is fated, Asgard will ultimately perish in Ragnarok, and be reborn in Ragnarok..."
Odin sighed deeply, expressing his acceptance of fate and the cycle of destruction and rebirth in Asgard.
Odin gazed into the void, his voice heavy as he slowly recounted the prophecy of Ragnarok.
"Father, what are those things hidden in the shadows?"
At this moment, Thor couldn't help but look up and ask about the identities of those concealed in the shadows.
"They are the gods under the shadows, the creators of all this..."
"They thrive on the prosperity of Asgard, feasting on its destruction."
"The inevitable Ragnarok, like an eternal cycle, provides them with endless energy..."
As Odin finished speaking, he suddenly turned to look at Thor, who was filled with shock, as if he wanted to continue saying something.
But the surroundings collapsed abruptly at this moment.
"Don't... try to... stop them..."
"Father!"
Thor, floating in the void, suddenly woke up, calling out to his disappeared father.
"The prophecy of Ragnarok... the eternal cycle? Gods feasting on destruction?"
Soon, remembering his father's words, Thor couldn't help but look up at the void.
The shadows that had once appeared there had completely disappeared now, as if everything before was just his illusion.
After hesitating for a moment, Thor firmly raised his axe and summoned the Rainbow Bridge.
With the emergence of colorful beams of light, Thor's figure disappeared in an instant into the void.
And in the original place, only the completely disappeared site of Asgard remained.
Once magnificent, ruling over the entire Nine Realms, Asgard declared its complete demise at this moment.
...
"Director, Thor, the God of Thunder, along with his people from Asgard, arrived on Earth aboard a spaceship. How should we arrange their affairs?"
A day later, in Nick Fury's office, Agent Hill hurriedly entered once again to report to Nick Fury.
"So soon?"
Nick Fury hadn't expected Thor to bring his people to Earth so quickly.
"Never mind, send someone to have them land in Norway for now. We have prepared a new home for them there."
Although somewhat unexpected, Nick Fury had long been prepared for the arrival of Thor and his people.
At Thor's suggestion, they had even provided them with land rights in Norway to rebuild their homeland.
"Understood, Director."
"By the way, Director, regarding the sudden announcement of the mutants establishing their own nation, many countries have expressed opposition. They argue that immigrants from other universes, like the mutants, should not enjoy the same rights as us."
"Moreover, they are not pure humans but mutants with special abilities..."
Even as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Hill felt that this matter was quite difficult to handle.
It could potentially trigger a war between humans and mutants.
"Hmph, what do those fools want? We're not oblivious to their intentions."
"If it weren't for Mr. Superman demonstrating unmatched power from the outset, they wouldn't be indifferent."
"Now, with a group of mutants with special abilities appearing, although not as powerful as Mr. Superman, how could they not be tempted?"
Nick Fury understood the corrupt thoughts of those government officials very well.
For money and power, they could resort to incredibly dirty means and commit any crime.
And now, for power that could make them incredibly strong, possibly even grant them immortality, how could they not go all out?
"So, what should we do?"
Hill was well aware of these thoughts as well, but S.H.I.E.L.D. also had to make a choice, whether to support humans or mutants.
"We don't need to worry about them. We just need to focus on our own tasks."
Nick Fury spoke almost without any hesitation.
"Director, do you mean... continuing to register mutant information and data?"
"Of course, we can't possibly go to war with mutants or humans. At this point, it's best to not get involved..."
Nick Fury stopped abruptly here.
In fact, he wasn't sure how Superman viewed these immigrants from another universe.
"Alright, you go back to work."
Soon, Agent Hill left, leaving only Nick Fury in the office.
"With Asgard possessing divine power, and the mutant population from another universe..."
"Heh, Earth is getting more and more interesting."
A smile appeared on Nick Fury's face, seemingly unconcerned about the situation to come.
