🕑 Added 2024-03-03 05:04:02 +0000 UTC"The Darkhold? Are you here for the Darkhold?"
Agatha's shocked expression instantly grasped Stephen's purpose for coming.
"Of course, the mighty Chthon created the Darkhold, inscribing all the black magic of the world on it..."
"Unfortunately, few can truly understand everything described in the Darkhold. They are not worthy of truly possessing it."
"And that includes you!"
Stephen's face wore an expression of desire, seemingly driven mad by the Darkhold.
"Hmph, what are you implying? That only you are worthy of possessing the Darkhold?"
Facing Stephen's blunt mockery, Agatha, a powerful witch herself, refused to back down.
"Unfortunately, you dare to enter my Witch House so defenselessly. Are you fearless or... just foolish!"
As Agatha spoke, several strange runes instantly appeared on the walls surrounding the basement.
The runes flickered with a purple light, exuding an eerie sensation.
"Fun fact, in areas shrouded by specific runes, only the one who drew the runes can use magic and witchcraft without restraint. That's the rule I created!"
As the runes gradually appeared, Agatha wore a smug expression, as if everything was already under her control.
"Who gave you the confidence to come alone and seize my Darkhold?"
"Even your supreme sorcerer, the Ancient One, dare not come alone to my domain to try to reclaim it!"
The next moment, as Agatha slowly raised her hand, a strange purple energy suddenly appeared around Stephen's body, instantly transforming into several chains that bound his entire body.
And directly suspended him in the air.
"Hehe..."
However, Stephen, suspended in the void, showed no signs of panic. Instead, a mocking smile appeared on his face.
"What are you laughing at?"
Agatha once again used witchcraft, forcibly bending Stephen's hands behind him. With a crisp snap, it seemed she had directly broken his arms.
"Hmph, I laugh at your naivety. Do you think the Ancient One doesn't dare come to seize the Darkhold because she fears you? Ridiculous! She just doesn't want to disrupt the normal progression of the timeline."
"However, I'm not as stubborn as the Ancient One. I have the ability to change the timeline but choose not to."
Stephen seemed to feel no pain at all, and at this moment, a crazy expression suddenly appeared on his face. "Moreover, your so-called rules are so fragile!"
...
The next second, a strange third eye suddenly appeared on Stephen's forehead.
And in an instant, several black energy tendrils extended from the strange eye, turning into black tentacles in the air.
The black tentacles instantly entwined around the purple energy shrouding Stephen's body.
Crack!
With a crisp sound, the black tentacles instantly disintegrated all the purple energy, helping Stephen completely break free from its constraints.
And in the blink of an eye, a black halo enveloped Stephen's entire body, causing his expensive suit to gradually disappear, transforming into a black robe and a red cape floating in the void.
"No, this can't be! I've completely sealed this space with runes. You shouldn't be able to channel any magical energy!"
Agatha's face turned extremely ugly as she watched Stephen easily break free from her restraints.
"Channel magical energy? I'm sorry, but at this moment, I am the source of magical energy itself!"
With Stephen's crazed expression, terrifying black energy burst out from his body in an instant.
In the void, it directly transformed into huge tentacles resembling black octopuses.
They completely bound Agatha's body, suspending her in the void instead.
"The Darkhold... was a piece of cake."
Afterward, Stephen paid no attention to Agatha suspended in the void. One tentacle delved into the surrounding dark void, and soon returned carrying a thick black book.
Taking the Darkhold retrieved by the tentacle, Stephen's face instantly showed a sinister smile.
"So, how should I deal with you now?"
After confirming the authenticity of the Darkhold, Stephen shifted his gaze back to Agatha, his tone icy.
"Please, you've got what you wanted. Spare me..."
Agatha suddenly began to plead.
"Sorry, anyone who tries to stop my plans will forever languish in the underworld..."
"Meow!"
Suddenly, just as Stephen was about to deal with Agatha completely, a strange meowing sound echoed behind him.
The next moment, as Stephen, floating in the air, abruptly turned around, he saw a black cat swiftly pouncing toward him.
Moreover, this black cat rapidly grew in size in the void, almost instantly transforming into a giant black panther.
"Eboni, take him down quickly."
Agatha's excited voice came, causing Eboni, the black panther, to flash a human-like fierce expression.
Sharp claws emerged, shining with a chilling cold light comparable to metallic blades.
...
"Hmph, just a mere beast."
Stephen's hands remained still, but the tendrils extending from his body instantly formed a black magical shield in front of him.
Crack!
However, the black panther's claws were extremely sharp, almost instantly shattering the newly formed magical shield.
However, it did buy Stephen some time.
Stephen's body tilted, narrowly avoiding the black panther's second claw.
Crack...
However, it seemed that the black panther's target was not Stephen, but the black tendrils restraining Agatha behind him.
"Perfect!"
Agatha, who had successfully escaped, wore a look of pleasant surprise on her face. But at this moment, she didn't have time to think about anything else. She hastily flung a purple energy toward the nearest wall.
"Hmph, next time I'll come back for revenge..."
The purple energy transformed into a purple gate, and Agatha quickly ran over, opened the door, and prepared to step through.
However, the next moment, a black blade suddenly cut across the void, piercing through her body.
"Sorry, you don't have a chance anymore."
Stephen retracted the blade formed by his tendrils, and Agatha's body was almost instantly corroded by the dark energy, turning into a withered corpse.
"Ahh!"
Watching her master die, the black panther instantly let out a mournful cry, then recklessly pounced towards Stephen.
However, in midair, it was directly bound by several tendrils extending from Stephen's body.
Then, a dazzling black light burst forth from Stephen's third eye, completely enveloping the black panther.
The next moment, with a mighty force of attraction, the black panther was directly sucked into Stephen's third eye.
And in the moment of devouring it, the black energy on Stephen's body seemed to become more condensed and powerful.
"As expected, devouring is the fastest way to enhance magical power."
Stephen's face was full of madness. He put away the Darkhold and walked out of the basement.
When he returned to the sports car, all the strange manifestations on his body had disappeared, and he once again appeared as a wealthy man dressed in expensive suits.
"Next, it's time to destroy those temples."
"Now that this universe has one more Superman, let him have no time to care about my plans."
The sports car quickly left the town, leaving only a faint trace of darkness, gradually disappearing into the void.
...
Several days later, a major news item caught the attention of the entire world.
After more than half a month, nearly twenty days, the Watchtower Space Station project was declared completed.
A peculiarly shaped, gigantic device, not quite like a space station but more like a cosmic ship, appeared in the eyes of everyone in the world.
"Can a space station built in such a short time really be put into use?"
This was the thought in many people's minds.
After all, in the whole world, there were only a handful of countries with the ability to build space stations.
Moreover, even if it consumed the resources of an entire country, it would take years or even decades to build successfully.
But now, Stellar Technologies had only taken less than a month.
This not only made ordinary people feel incredulous but also made many space agencies and aerospace companies that focused on space feel incredible.
With countless media broadcasting live on-site,
many people wanted to witness firsthand whether StellarTech would launch its first major operation only to end in failure.
"Look, it's starting!"
"Every time I see Superman effortlessly lifting such heavy objects, I can't help but feel amazed. He's really powerful."
Under the witness of countless media and spectators, Peter, wearing his Stellar Armor, slowly lifted the huge space station weighing tens of thousands of tons with just one hand.
Then, under everyone's witness, Peter extended both hands and pressed them under the space station, pushing the entire structure upward slowly.
And then began to gradually accelerate.
Soon, the massive space station disappeared into the void in front of everyone's eyes.
"Is it successful?"
"No, this can only be considered a successful launch. As for whether the space station can operate normally, we still need to wait and see."
Soon, Peter pushed the huge space station to the space several hundred kilometers above the ground.
Then slowly integrated it into the Earth's synchronous orbit.
"Let's start."
After everything was ready, Peter's figure disappeared in an instant in space, and in less than a few seconds, he returned to the StellarTech building.
Slowly, he said to Reed, who controlled everything.
"Alright... Alright, Mr. Superman."
Reed was still a bit bewildered. After all, he had just seen Peter's figure in space on the screen, and the next moment he was beside him.
This feeling made it seem like his brain couldn't keep up.
"At this moment, the Earth will usher in a new era!"
Without hesitation, Reed pressed the button to start the space station.
The next moment, the space station, which was originally stationary in space, suddenly began to unfold various modules, and its propulsion system also slowly started.
However, it was not to propel the space station but to let it rotate at a slow speed.
"Report, all systems of the space station have been started, and the system is operating normally. In one minute, the artificial gravity system will successfully simulate the Earth's gravity environment..."
"Congratulations, everyone, the Watchtower Space Station project is successfully completed!"
"That's great, we did it!"
With the voice of artificial intelligence echoing throughout the laboratory, all the personnel involved in the experiment cheered excitedly.
And outside, countless heads of state and people all over the world also saw the space station operating normally through nearby satellites.
"Mr. Superman, please come with me to visit the space station we built with our own hands!"
Reed excitedly opened the teleportation device, then eagerly invited Peter.
