🕑 Added 2024-02-25 13:05:38 +0000 UTCAt the same time, above Asgard.
A beam of light from the Bifrost Bridge swiftly descends.
Thud!
Accompanied by a metallic clang, the beam of light disappears.
A giant axe suddenly plunges into the surface of the Bifrost Bridge.
"Thor?"
Frigga, who is tending to the heavily injured Thor, suddenly notices that Thor, who is in a coma, starts emitting electric sparks from his fingertips.
Her eyes fill with surprise and joy.
Crack!
Meanwhile, the people of Asgard, their faces filled with astonishment, are looking up at the gradually gathering dark clouds in the sky.
"This is great!"
Heimdall, diligently guarding the Bifrost Bridge, looks at the giant axe and the dense dark clouds covering the sky of Asgard, his eyes filled with joy.
"Your Majesty..."
However, amidst the joy, there is also a hint of sadness.
Because he knows that since Thor's weapon has been returned, it signifies the end of Odin's battle with that human.
But only the axe has been returned, Odin hasn't returned with it.
At this moment, Heimdall seems to understand something.
He frantically tries to use his eyes, which can see through the Nine Realms, to find Odin's figure, but finds his vision obstructed by something and can't see clearly at all.
"Could it be that, Your Majesty has already..."
Sadness rushes to his heart, and the strong Heimdall suppresses his sadness and closes his eyes to pray.
"May the glory of the gods forever shine on Asgard..."
Crack!
As Heimdall prays, a dazzling bolt of lightning suddenly erupts from the dense clouds.
It pierces through the golden tower and directly strikes Thor in the room.
At the same time, the giant axe lodged in the Bifrost Bridge also emits a shining red electric glow.
It is then attracted by some powerful force and instantly shoots up into the sky.
Boom! In the blink of an eye, it breaks the sound barrier, leaving only a roar as it disappears into the horizon.
"Thor..."
As lightning strikes Thor's body, Frigga hurriedly moves away from Thor's body, looking at him with concern from a distance.
However, the lightning doesn't cause any harm to the heavily injured Thor.
Even under the lingering lightning, Thor's cracked skin quickly heals at this moment.
Suddenly, Thor, who has been lying on the bed with his eyes closed, opens his eyes abruptly, with silver and fiery red lights flickering in his eyes.
His right-hand rises without hesitation.
Crack!
Accompanied by a more intense thunderous roar.
A giant axe appears almost instantaneously in his right hand.
"This is great!"
Seeing her son waking up, Frigga is almost in tears of joy.
But the next moment, her heart is filled with sadness again, and the clever woman realizes something she finds hard to accept at this moment.
However, she has no time for sadness now.
Because Thor, holding the giant axe, is already floating up from the bed, gradually rising into the sky with the dazzling electric glow.
"Is that... His Highness Thor?"
As Thor's figure rises into the sky of Asgard, countless Asgardians see this majestic figure filled with thunderous power.
They can't contain their excitement and cheer.
"No, that's His Majesty Thor, our new King of Asgard. He will continue to lead us to prosperity."
At some point, Heimdall, holding a silver sword, appears behind the crowd, his expression firm and solemn as he speaks slowly.
He then directly kneels down, taking the lead in paying homage to the newly born king of Asgard.
"Hail to His Majesty Thor!"
The next moment, the soldiers of Asgard, dressed in silver armor and wielding silver spears, also kneel down without hesitation, welcoming the birth of their new king.
"Hail to His Majesty Thor!"
Following suit, the civilians of Asgard also kneel down, welcoming their new sovereign.
Crack!
Under the homage of everyone, Thor in the sky seems to sense something.
The dark clouds became even denser, almost covering the entire sky of Asgard.
The power of thunder grew stronger.
Countless lightning bolts densely integrated into Thor's body, almost instantly healing his severe injuries and continuously boosting his divine power.
Suddenly, a golden light pierced through the void, breaking through the dark sky covered by the clouds.
Instantly merging into Thor's body.
In the dense clouds, it seemed as if countless shadows of gods were appearing, celebrating for him.
"What is that? The recognition and blessing of Odin's divine power?"
Heimdall's face is full of disbelief because from this moment on, it signifies that King Odin has truly abdicated.
Thor rightfully inherits the throne of Asgard.
"Father, you..."
However, at this moment, Thor's consciousness suddenly leaves Asgard and arrives in a lush green meadow.
In front of him, an old figure sitting at the edge of a cliff attracts all of Thor's attention.
...
"Thor, you've come." That old figure turns around, smiling and greeting Thor.
"Father, why are you here?"
Even though Thor is in a coma, his consciousness can still vaguely perceive what is happening outside, but he doesn't know everything.
"Thor, there are some things that are inevitable, such as, I have reached my limit."
As Thor approaches Odin, Odin slowly speaks, his calm tone revealing the news of his impending end.
"No, this can't be! Father, you're so powerful, how could you..."
Thor's face is full of shock and sadness, but more so, he is unwilling to accept it.
"Thor, be calm. Everything is destined by fate."
Odin looks at Thor with love.
"Father, I..."
Thor approaches Odin, sadness in his eyes, even a hint of fluorescence flickers.
"Don't mourn for me, you must stay strong, lead the people of Asgard, and rebuild our homeland."
Odin's eyes reveal a trace of reluctance. Thor's future will face not only the loss of himself.
"This is Earth, look, it's peaceful there, everyone's faces are full of smiles, bravely building their homes."
Odin points to the bustling scenery below the mountain and says to Thor.
"Father, let's go home..."
Thor doesn't have the mood to look at these scenes. At this moment, he just wants his father to return home with him.
"Home? Yes, Asgard is our home."
"But Asgard is not a place, it's the people, wherever the people are, there is Asgard."
"Here, can also become Asgard."
Odin does not respond to Thor, continuing to point to a piece of empty land below and saying slowly.
"People, are Asgard?"
At this moment, Thor, who has inherited the throne, carefully contemplates the meaning of this sentence.
"Thor, remember, a true king never initiates war, but when war comes, he does not fear it."
"War? Father, what war?"
Thor raises his head in surprise, but finds Odin beside him has closed his eyes, a golden light suddenly bursts from his body.
The next moment, the old figure gradually turns into little specks of starlight, drifting into the void, gradually dissipating.
"Father!"
Thor shouts in grief, but he cannot bring back the already departed soul.
Roar!
Suddenly, amidst the sorrow, Thor suddenly feels a howl as if coming from hell.
Suddenly turning around, but finding a pitch-black crack suddenly opening up.
A figure with a graceful figure and tattered clothes slowly emerges from it.
"Oh, it seems that old man is dead already."
"Such a pity, I couldn't see his expression of pain with my own eyes."
The imposing woman looks at Thor and slowly speaks.
"Who are you?"
Thor looks at this unfamiliar figure with caution.
"Who am I? It seems that old man has completely erased my existence."
"I am none other than the eldest daughter of that old man, Hela, the Goddess of Death!"
The woman, full of dominance, runs her hands through her hair, and her disheveled hair instantly transforms into a strange black war helmet.
"What? You're my sister? That's impossible, absolutely impossible!"
Thor is full of shock, finding it hard to accept this news.
"Oh, you're his son? Doesn't seem quite like it..."
"But, it doesn't matter, kneel down..."
"What?"
Thor widens his eyes, incredulous.
"I said, kneel!"
Hela's authoritative voice, accompanied by a black sword, instantly pierces through Thor's body.
"Hmph, it's just a consciousness after all."
Watching Thor, pierced by the black sword, disappearing in an instant.
Hela can't help but look up, gazing at the sky.
"Asgard, your queen has returned!"
The next moment, a black column of light descends with a bang.
Asgard.
Thor suddenly opens his eyes, looking at the familiar scene and the Asgardians worshiping him.
"Not good."
The next moment, Thor hastily lands in front of Heimdall, his face tense.
"Heimdall, quickly take everyone away from here!"
"What's wrong, Your Majesty Thor?"
Heimdall asks with confusion.
"My sister, Hela, the Goddess of Death, has returned."
"And war, I'm afraid, is imminent."
Just as Thor speaks, a black column of light suddenly descends from the sky.
...
