[Superman] Chapter 155: Separating Universes with Both Hands!
🕑 Added 2024-06-22 06:08:28 +0000 UTC"What exactly is going on? Why are two universes suddenly starting to merge together?"
Peter looked at the two universes that were merging with each other, filled with confusion.
This situation had occurred very suddenly, and even Peter found it difficult to discern the true reason behind their fusion.
"Never mind, whatever the reason for this sudden situation, I just need to resolve it."
But at the next moment, Peter didn't dwell on why the universes were merging.
Taking advantage of the fact that the two universes had just started to collide and their merging was still in its initial stages, Peter prepared to forcefully separate them with his immense power.
This way, he could eliminate the collision crisis facing his universe and preserve the reality of the other universe from being destroyed.
"However, those who have already arrived in our universe may be permanently stuck here..."
Thinking this, Peter didn't hesitate either.
Every moment wasted would only make the fusion of the two universes tighter.
And with more people arriving in their universe due to the universes merging.
The next moment, Peter transformed into a stream of light and appeared before the slowly merging two universes.
Originally insignificant compared to the immense size of the two universes, Peter's body suddenly began to expand.
In just a short moment, he had expanded to a size several times larger than both universes combined.
Looking at the two slowly merging universes, Peter first flexed his hands, then glanced at the DC universe on the left, which looked completely different from the Marvel universe.
"A DC universe that also harbors various heroes and deities? If there's a chance, maybe I can explore this world that's completely different from my current Marvel universe!"
DC and Marvel Universes, both known as the most famous comic book universes in American comics.
Having experienced the reality of one universe, Peter naturally had a curiosity about the other universe of the same caliber, DC.
However, now was obviously not the best time to explore the DC universe out of curiosity.
Now that he had discovered the existence of the DC universe, he also had a chance to personally explore it soon.
At this moment, the most important thing was to separate the two merging universes with his own hands.
Immediately, Peter's gaze gradually focused, no longer hesitating.
His hands seemed to directly transform into ethereal existence, inserting themselves into the centers of the two merging universes.
They reached the very point where the realities of the two universes intersected.
"Finally... found it!"
It's easy to merge two universes, but separating them is extremely difficult.
The point where the realities of the two universes intersect was chaotic, like two basins of water stirred together.
Fortunately, the realities of the two universes were not completely identical and were only in the initial stages of merging, not yet fully assimilated.
It was like two basins of water with different colors mixed together.
Although for an ordinary person, it would still be impossible to achieve such precise separation according to their original colors.
But for Peter, while this was somewhat troublesome, it was not entirely impossible.
As he fully sensed the reality of the two merging universes.
His hands each supported one universe.
Immediately, a terrifying power that made the universe tremble burst forth from his hands.
Creak, creak...
The two universes that were slowly merging began to slowly separate amid a resounding tearing sound that echoed throughout the cosmos.
...
Meanwhile, within the universe, the battle between the two factions continued to unfold.
In the sky, Thor and Superman clashed at supersonic speeds, too fast for ordinary humans to track.
Tremendous forces exploded in the air, as if countless missiles were bombarding the skies over New York City.
The entire city was shrouded in thick dark clouds, accompanied by Thor's anger, which continuously unleashed dazzling thunder and lightning.
"You certainly have some skill, but you can never defeat the brave warriors of Asgard!"
Finally, after a chaotic battle, Thor and Superman separated from each other, standing thousands of meters apart in the air, gazing at each other with serious expressions.
After the confrontation, both had gained a full understanding and acknowledgment of each other's strength.
There was no doubt that their powers and abilities were almost evenly matched.
However, their previous encounter had been merely a simple collision of strength and physical prowess.
As the God of Thunder, Thor possessed undeniable divine power.
Next, they were about to engage in a final showdown that would truly determine the victor.
Indeed, as Thor spoke, endless thunder erupted from the gathering storm clouds in the sky.
The scene was apocalyptic, causing Clark's expression to become even more serious, though he showed no signs of backing down.
"Ah!"
With a roar that echoed throughout the entire city, Thor unhesitatingly hurled his Stormbreaker, gleaming with silver lightning, towards Clark in the distance.
Humming!
The axe whistled through the void, rapidly spinning towards Clark, with its silver lightning elongated in the void, forming a brilliant silver trail.
However, its speed was already at its peak, flickering like lightning in the void.
The next moment, it was already in front of Clark!
But whether Thor had not learned his lesson or had no intention of truly killing Clark, the axe did not aim for Clark's head but rather his chest.
Clark remained unfazed, as if he had been anticipating this moment for a long time, suddenly extending his hands to catch the Stormbreaker, which was already in front of him.
However, the raging power contained within Stormbreaker apparently exceeded Clark's expectations. Despite his strong grip temporarily slowing the axe's speed, he still felt a ferocious power emanating from the axe.
The axe he grasped continued to tremble, and the lightning lingering on it became even more ferocious at this moment.
Fizz, fizz, fizz!
Endless lightning ravaged, crackling and popping in the void!
"Stop it!"
Facing such a violent force, it successfully stirred Clark's inner competitive spirit.
Instead of dodging, he toughed it out against the rampant lightning and thunder, tightly gripping the trembling Stormbreaker.
In an instant, his entire being erupted with an unmatched power!
"Hmph! Don't waste your effort. I can split planets!"
Watching from afar, Thor's face flashed with anger, manipulating the endless thunder gathering in the sky, and slammed it towards Clark!
Crackle! Crackle...
Thunderbolts continued to explode in the void.
The dazzling lightning, like silver dragons, continuously struck towards Clark's position.
The thunderous explosions seemed to cause no harm to Clark's body.
However, the Stormbreaker, after being baptized by the thunder, instantly erupted with even stronger violent power.
The raging lightning continued to rampage, and within Stormbreaker, an even more powerful force suddenly emerged.
Clark, who had been able to withstand this power, was now being forcibly suppressed by the power of Stormbreaker.
The axe's electrified blade, shimmering, was inexorably approaching Clark's chest.
The raging lightning had even broken through his bio-field defense, directly impacting his body.
He wore a sky-blue Kryptonian battle suit, which began to crack under the onslaught of the raging lightning and the sharp edge of Stormbreaker.
Even though Kryptonian material had extremely potent self-repair capabilities, it still couldn't fully repair the damage he was sustaining at this moment.
Hiss!
A tear appeared on his chest in the tight-fitting blue suit, revealing Clark's strong chest muscles.
"No!"
Looking at the crack on his chest emblem, which symbolized hope, Clark seemed to completely unleash his body's potential!
A golden light gradually appeared on his chest, causing the emblem to shine with a golden pattern.
The golden pattern flowed around Clark's body, almost instantly converging all over him, completely enveloping him.
"Ah!"
With Clark's roar full of unwillingness and anger.
The dazzling brilliance, like a star, suddenly surged through his body.
The radiant light even made the entire city as bright as daylight.
...
"That's... Clark!"
Countless heroes and villains who had just arrived in the Marvel universe looked up at the sky at this moment, gazing at the towering figure radiating light like a deity.
The previously confused crowd seemed to immediately see hope and without hesitation, they sprinted towards the direction where Clark was.
"Who on earth could push Clark to such an extent?"
Batman, who was actively engaged in combat with Tony, immediately disengaged from Tony's side upon sensing the solar flare released by Clark.
With a solemn gaze and his chest heaving, Batman looked towards the void with slightly hurried breath.
"Heh heh, are you ready to surrender?"
Tony looked at Batman who suddenly stopped fighting, a hint of pride in his eyes.
For some reason, Tony felt an impulse to beat up this guy wearing a bat mask upon seeing him.
"No, I just feel that our fight has no meaning."
"Perhaps it should end now!"
As the light that illuminated the entire city slowly faded away and Batman's breathing gradually stabilized, he withdrew his gaze from the void.
Then, with a serious expression, he said to Tony,
"End? Impossible, unless you, this sneaky guy, can take off your mask and drop your weapons yourself... Damn it, you're not playing fair, launching a surprise attack!"
Just as Tony was about to arrogantly demand to see Batman's true face, a dazzling light once again struck from behind Tony, causing his expression to suddenly change.
Whoosh!
A massively powerful missile hurtled down from the sky.
Tony could only turn around and release a magical shield to protect himself.
Boom!
"Damn, doesn't this guy realize this could kill him too?"
Along with the roar of the missile and the Batwing roaring through the sky, Tony's expression turned grim.
"Sorry, I only care about the outcome, not the process..."
As the Batwing roared overhead, Batman seemed to have anticipated everything long ago. Taking advantage of Tony turning to defend against the missile, he fired his special grappling hook gun towards the Batwing streaking through the sky.
His cape fluttered in the wind as he darted into the night sky.
"Fuck it, you won't get away!"
Tony realized he had been duped, but there was nothing he could do. After all, he hadn't anticipated Batman would use his own life as a bargaining chip to achieve his goals.
...
Accompanied by the solar flare released by Clark,
Countless heroes were converging towards Times Square in New York.
However, Thor was not dazzled by the shining solar flare.
"Heh heh, you have indeed exceeded my expectations!"
"Now, you qualify to be my opponent."
Thor gestured to summon back his axe, which had been flung away by the solar flare. His expression was solemn yet tinged with excitement in his eyes.
"Wait, what's that?"
However, Clark did not respond to Thor, but instead gazed at the sky behind him.
At the same time, countless people engaged in combat on the ground seemed to sense something, almost simultaneously ceasing their battles and gazing towards the void!
"What... what's going on? Could it be the result of that dazzling light just now?"
Captain America blocked Aquaman's trident with his shield, looking up at the sky.
There, above the sky covered by thick clouds, massive and elongated cracks appeared unexpectedly!
Numerous cracks crisscrossed in the void.
Yet, they seemed not to affect Earth's sky but directly affected the end of the universe.
"Hey, did you do that?"
Thor also noticed the enormous cracks that suddenly appeared behind Clark.
Beyond the cracks, it seemed like endless nothingness.
It was as if the entire universe was about to be completely torn apart at this moment.
Furious spatial storms emerged through the cracks before everyone's eyes.
Even beyond some cracks, fleeting phantoms swiftly passed by.
There were dazzling galaxies resembling discs, shining stars burning continuously, and planets with diverse environments...
As their gazes traveled incessantly, it felt like everyone had entered another universe reality, guided by a peculiar perspective.
Until finally, their gaze settled on a unique planet.
"Is that... Earth?"
"But why are there two?"
Countless people stared at the two Earths glimpsed through the cracks, their eyes filled with shock and confusion.
"No, this is not my doing..."
Just moments ago, the two who were battling were now frozen in the sky.
Clark looked at the massive cracks almost piercing through the entire universe, his eyes flashing with unprecedented seriousness!
"The universe seems to be forcibly torn apart by some terrifying force..."
Countless people from both universes stared at the sky at this moment, the massive cracks appearing at the end of the universe, as if doomsday was about to come!
Suddenly, a virtual shadow resembling a gigantic human hand covered the cracks at the end of the universe.
The next moment, the cracks that traversed the entire end of the universe slowly closed as if being smoothed over by that giant hand.
Suddenly, accompanying the appearance of the giant hand, the two Earths merging together also began to slowly separate!
"Oh no, the universe is forcibly dividing, we might... be forever trapped in this universe!"
Meanwhile, as the Flash sped through the city, upon seeing the scene in the void, he seemed to realize something ominous!
