🕑 Added 2024-06-22 05:52:56 +0000 UTCEarth, beyond the confines of space.
A figure clad in sky-blue tight-fitting attire suddenly materialized in the dark expanse of the starry sky, drifting above the boundless cosmos.
In the dark universe, the Earth beneath emitted a faint blue glow as it slowly rotated.
Suddenly, a beam of light gradually rose above the horizon, the dazzling sun instantly shining upon this figure floating in space.
Bathed in the boundless energy of sunlight, he was enveloped in a golden glow.
In an instant, his tightly closed eyes abruptly opened, a flash of light fleeting within them.
He turned slowly, his gaze spanning hundreds of kilometers, looking towards the shimmering green glow upon the deep blue planet.
A hint of puzzlement flickered in his eyes.
Immediately, boundless information flooded into his mind.
The next moment, his gaze became profoundly serious.
In an instant, his entire body disappeared from where he stood.
He descended like a meteor falling at extreme speed towards the ground...
Meanwhile, on the surface, two opposing groups gazed up into the sky as if sensing something, slowly raising their heads to look towards the heavens.
Crackle!
Accompanied by a thunderous roar that tore through the night sky, illuminating the entire city.
A figure streaked across the night sky, thunder following in its wake.
Sonic booms reverberated through the air.
Concentrated clouds were dispersed directly by the figure at that moment.
"Is that... Superman?"
Captain America and others gazed expectantly into the void. At this moment, without a doubt, a terrifying figure surfaced in their hearts.
However, the outcome left them somewhat disappointed.
Swoosh!
Amidst a chilling whistling sound.
A colossal figure almost instantly streaked across the night sky, abruptly halting above the crowd, crimson eyes scanning those below from a commanding position.
"Excellent, it's Clark!"
"Now, you're finished!"
The sky-blue tight-fitting attire, the flowing red cape in the wind, and the symbol of hope on his chest.
All made Wonder Woman and others instantly recognize that the soul and belief supporting the Justice League had arrived.
As long as he existed, the Justice League would never fail!
...
As Clark's figure gradually descended, a towering and majestic presence floated at the forefront of the Justice League's ranks.
They seemed to rekindle hope, standing behind Clark with eyes filled with fierce determination, as if fearless.
"Unfortunately, this is not our Superman!"
On the other hand, Captain America's group, upon seeing the arrival of this person who was not their universe's Superman, though a tinge of regret flashed through their hearts, they did not retreat in the slightest.
Even though they might now face one of the most powerful heroes from the DC Universe.
Yet they, too, felt no fear.
"Clark, we..."
Wonder Woman gazed at the figure ahead, hesitant to speak.
"I understand."
Clark's voice rang out, involuntarily filling with hope.
Then, he looked towards Captain America and the others, the crimson glow in his eyes slowly dissipating.
"Everyone, let's stop here!"
Clark understood everything almost in an instant. He knew that at this moment, each of them was a hero protecting their own universe.
The battle between them was almost meaningless.
"Sorry, we will defend our universes to the death!"
Captain America stepped forward slowly, facing a god among men with nothing but mortal flesh, firmly gripping his shield, his gaze unwavering.
"Yes, we will defend our homes to the death!"
With the declaration from the people behind Captain America, a fighter jet streaked across the sky.
Pew pew pew!
The next moment, accompanied by flashes of blue energy shimmering around Captain America and his group.
Several figures suddenly appeared hand in hand in front of them.
"Professor, thank you for coming!"
Looking at the bald-headed old man in the wheelchair, Captain America's eyes also revealed a hint of respect.
He had learned about Professor X's experiences, the elder who had dedicated his life to securing power and dignity for his mutant brethren, which earned him profound respect.
"Hello, Captain. I didn't expect us to be fighting side by side so soon!"
Professor X, also maneuvering his wheelchair, arrived beside Captain America, greeting the captain warmly while looking towards the figures ahead.
"It seems this time, we cannot resolve things peacefully!"
Clark gazed at the sudden reinforcements from the other side. Though his eyes remained calm, he knew things couldn't continue like this.
He believed the opposing side had countless reinforcements rapidly approaching.
Continuing this conflict would be highly unfavorable for them.
"Unfortunately, we cannot allow our universes to face any potential threats."
In reality, both sides understood clearly at this moment that there was no hatred between them.
Yet, they found themselves compelled to wage war.
Captain America and his team aimed to protect their universe from invasion and destruction by outsiders.
Meanwhile, Clark and his allies fought for their own freedom, unwilling to entrust their safety to strangers' hands.
Even so, they all desired to leave this unfamiliar world as soon as possible and return to their true homes.
The clash between heroes from two universes had become inevitable.
...
"Barry, please leave this place and notify our comrades who have not yet arrived or have just arrived in this unfamiliar universe to join us..."
As tensions continued to escalate between the two sides, Clark instructed the Flash behind him before the actual battle began.
"Understood, Clark!"
The Flash hesitated for a moment, understanding that despite his speed being crucial, there was a more important role for him than joining the fight.
Immediately, he transformed into a bolt of lightning and sped swiftly towards the city.
"I'll take care of this guy!"
The mutant who had just brought Professor X and others here, a devilish figure with blue skin shimmering with blue energy, disappeared in an instant with a flash.
His figure then flickered continuously in the void, chasing after the Flash who was sprinting rapidly towards the city.
"We are the Justice League..."
"We will never give up, we will ultimately prevail..."
Aware that war was now inevitable, Clark's entire figure floated calmly in the air, his eyes calmly glowing with a captivating red light once more.
Just as everyone stood poised, preparing for the imminent battle,
Suddenly, the sky gathered thick clouds.
Crack!
Dazzling lightning tore through the night sky, thunder exploding loudly around them.
"Hmm?"
Even Clark, who maintained a calm demeanor in the face of the impending battle, couldn't help but slowly raise his head.
His superhuman gaze pierced through the dark clouds, looking towards the figure accompanying the lightning.
Crack!
The lightning struck squarely at the center of both factions.
And the next moment, all eyes were drawn to the figure who arrived with the lightning.
"Who is that?"
At this moment, everyone in the Justice League camp couldn't help but gaze solemnly at the figure radiating tiny electric arcs.
The momentum emanating from this figure was no less than Clark's.
"Sorry for being late... but at least I made it!"
The formidable figure, wielding an axe shimmering with electricity, slowly rose.
His sharp gaze swept over Wonder Woman and the others, finally settling on the figure floating in the void above the ground.
...
"Hey, friend, are you pretending to be Superman?"
Thor looked at Clark with some confusion in his eyes.
In fact, he wasn't accustomed to familiarizing himself with the enemies he was about to face.
Looking at the guy in front of him who bore some resemblance to Superman from his own universe, Thor naturally jumped to the conclusion that this person was playing Superman.
"Hmph, you short-sighted fool, let me make it clear to you, Clark is the real Superman!"
Seeing this sudden intruder undermining the soul of their Justice League, Aquaman couldn't tolerate it and shouted directly at Thor.
"Hmm? The real Superman? Unfortunately, I don't feel that kind of power belonging to a true god among men emanating from him!"
"To me, this guy is at best a powerful impostor!"
Thor planted his axe firmly into the ground, looking disdainfully at Clark, and with an indifferent expression, he spoke slowly.
Undoubtedly, Thor had the qualifications to say so at this moment.
Because he had faced the most powerful Superman in this universe before.
While Clark from DC was undoubtedly strong, for Thor at this moment, they were entirely different concepts.
He still remembered the overwhelming feeling of powerlessness when facing Superman in this universe.
Even now, although his power had increased several times since then, he still didn't feel qualified to look up to him.
"Hmph!"
Superman considered himself sufficiently merciful; nothing, not even insults or taunts, could affect his inner calm and emotions.
But at this moment, when others directly called him a fake, a hint of anger he couldn't suppress surfaced in his heart.
Then, he coldly stared at Thor, the intense red glow in his eyes intensifying at this moment.
"Impostor? Very well, then let me show you my true power!"
Intense red radiance surged in Superman's eyes, erupting instantly into a brilliant red beam.
It pierced through the space between the two of them, blasting towards Thor.
"Perfect timing!"
Thor roared excitedly, raising the burning axe in his hand to block in front of him.
Sizzle!
Along with the high-temperature heat rays continuously burning on the axe, a terrifying aura spread outwards.
The dazzling light flickered, so bright that some people present couldn't bear to keep their eyes open.
After a few seconds, the dazzling light gradually dissipated.
In the void, the red glow in Clark's eyes faded gradually, and his anger was slowly suppressed.
However, as everyone's gaze returned to normal,
"Heh heh, is that all you've got?"
Thor slowly lowered the slightly reddened axe in his hand, his face filled with excitement tinged with mockery, slowly addressing Clark in the void.
...
"What? How is this possible?"
Wonder Woman and the others looked at Thor, who hadn't suffered the slightest damage, feeling deeply shocked.
It wasn't rare to find someone strong enough to withstand Superman's heat vision, but it was uncommon for someone to withstand Clark's attack almost unscathed.
Especially now, this guy dared to continue provoking.
"You've truly angered me now!"
Superman's mercy was reserved for the weak civilians and humans.
For someone with power daring to provoke him, Superman wouldn't suppress his anger.
Intense fury unleashed Superman's restrained power.
A terrifying momentum burst forth from his body.
An invisible pressure instantly enveloped everyone present, as if a god were about to unleash his wrath.
"I'm sorry, what you're facing is Thor Odinson, the firstborn of Odin, the All-Father of Asgard..."
"The current king of Asgard, the ruler of the Nine Realms..."
"The God of Thunder who controls the power of lightning—Thor Odinson!"
Facing Superman's anger, Thor also showed no weakness.
Slowly lifting the axe in his hand, accompanied by a low growl, the clouds in the sky began to roil and churn.
Countless thunderbolts flashed within the clouds, but none erupted, as if brewing an immensely powerful force.
The clouds rolled, winds stirred.
The entire city seemed to be shrouded in impending doom.
The terrifying aura swept over, causing an inexplicable sense of panic.
"For Asgard! For the glory of the gods!"
Thor's momentum continued to rise, and endless electricity shimmered around him.
"Let there be thunder..."
With Thor suddenly raising his axe.
A thunderous roar echoed across the sky.
Lightning roared, tearing through the night sky.
Like a silver dragon traversing the void, it descended abruptly.
Boom!
The dazzling light illuminated everything around.
The vast Times Square now appeared as bright as day.
"Ah!"
This lightning strike seemed like a command, causing everyone from both factions to almost instinctively roar and charge at each other.
Floating in the void, Clark led the charge like a falling meteor, fists clenched, rushing towards Thor amid a series of explosions.
Almost simultaneously, Thor gripped his axe shimmering with endless lightning, exerting force with both feet, leaving a huge spiderweb-like crack in the ground, resembling a cannonball, charging towards Clark.
Boom!
The moment they collided.
Terrifying energy suddenly burst forth, emitting a radiant light as dazzling as a star.
Visible shockwaves spread out with the light, instantly sweeping across the entire square.
Crack!
The violent energy shattered all the glass on the surrounding skyscrapers, along with the large screens broadcasting the battle scenes, all shattered with a thunderous crash.
After their initial clash, the figures of Thor and Superman each ascended into the sky.
On the ground beneath their feet, members from both sides engaged in individual battles. Under the surging terrifying power, energy crackled, causing even the ground to tremble incessantly.
As the field of vision gradually narrowed, slowly leaving the Earth's surface engulfed in the intense battle, it even departed from the universe, extending beyond the cosmos.
Peter's figure, now standing amidst boundless emptiness.
Before him, two gigantic spheres connected to each other.
The two spheres were slowly converging, with parts of each already merging together.
This was the process of two realities continuously merging universes!
