[Genshin Impact] Chapter 184: Bad Guys
🕑 Added 2024-06-12 16:16:26 +0000 UTCTo be precise, the Fire Abyss Mage was not watching Nolan and his companions but rather the brown backpack that Klee carried.
"Why does this little girl have such a powerful treasure!"
The Pyro Abyss Mage felt shocked and then a bit greedy.
Any of those explosive treasures she casually threw out seemed to rival its own full-force attack. If it could obtain that treasure...
It would easily complete the mission of disrupting the peace of the Seven Nations in the future, and even climb ranks effortlessly within the Order, becoming the elite among elites!
"That magical backpack that can produce explosive treasures continuously, this mage must find a way to get it!"
The Pyro Abyss Mage thought so cunningly.
By the grassy shore, the four sat around the campfire, the aroma of meat and seasoning wafting with the smoke.
"Mmm, the monster bird meat is so tender and refreshing, almost like the texture of Anemo Slime!"
Noelle took a bite of the meat skewer, and the right amount of oil and seasoning exploded in her mouth, causing her to squint her eyes and reveal a satisfied smile on her fair face.
"It's really delicious!" Klee held a bird meat skewer, her hands oily from eating. "Sucrose Sister and Honorary Knight Brother are so good at grilling!"
"No, it's just simple grilling, nothing too fancy," Sucrose waved her hand, blushing a little, then modestly said.
Nolan was busy preparing the several black-banded fish Klee had bombed, smearing them with various seasonings and skewering them on sticks to roast over the charcoal fire.
In his personal opinion, barbecue was simple as long as the seasonings were right, and as long as you avoided burning it, the taste would be basically the same.
After all, his cooking skills were barely passable, and he couldn't do it to the extent of being praised too much by others.
A cool breeze carrying moisture from the lake blew over, feeling refreshing with a hint of chilliness.
As Nolan and the others ate their barbecue and felt almost full, they suddenly heard a "Ya!" sound.
This sound was familiar to everyone present; it was the alert sound the Hilichurls made when they spotted enemies.
As expected, a bunch of Hilichurls appeared on both sides of the forest, attracted either by the aroma of the barbecue or for some other reason.
Anyway, They looked at the group and charged over with axes and wooden clubs in hand.
"Ah, where did these monsters come from!"
Sucrose and the others quickly stood up, ready to fight back, with a hint of nervousness evident on her face.
"Be careful, let me block them!"
Noelle took out the Favonius Greatsword, and at the same time, a translucent shield enveloped her, then she pushed off the ground, causing the grass to fly.
She charged like a bull, knocking two small Hilichurls in front of her flying.
Then she collided head-on with the only Hilichurl Berserker among them.
The strong arms of the Hilichurl Berserker pressed against Noelle's Geo shield, but its immense force still pushed it back uncontrollably!
Deep marks were left on the grass by her feet.
Noelle... has such great strength!
Nolan, preparing to aim and shoot with his bow and arrow, couldn't help but be amazed at the situation over there.
After all, in his Golden Eye of Judgment, Noelle was only at level 32 at this moment, while the Hilichurl Berserker she was grappling with was level 41!
Truly a girl with innate divine power. Nolan sighed, and his arrow was released.
The next moment, it hit the forehead of a crossbow-wielding Hilichurl.
Even the water-type Hilichurl Shaman in the rear had no chance to use its 'Prayer for Rain' to heal.

"Hmph, Klee will also help defeat these bad guys too!"
Klee directly pulled out a black bomb from her bag of wonders or was it her Vision? and was about to run forward to throw it at the Hilichurls.
Suddenly, she felt something pulling her back, no matter how she ran, she couldn't move forward.
Klee looked back in confusion and saw a strange, fluffy red creature pulling her backpack.
"Kekeke! Little brat, hand over your backpack to this mage, I'll make good use of it!"
The Pyro Abyss Mage chuckled, intending to snatch Klee's backpack while the others were occupied with the Hilichurls.
"Ewww! Bad guy, Klee won't give you Klee's backpack, Dodoco, let's take it back together!"
Klee, realizing that this strange creature wanted to steal her backpack, glared at it angrily.
At the same time, she also said a word to her "first friend" Dodoco hanging by the side of the backpack.
She used her small hands to pull on the straps of the backpack, trying not to let it be taken away.
The first to notice the situation here was Sucrose. She saw a Pyro Abyss Mage actually trying to snatch the backpack from Klee and immediately became nervous.
She raised her hand, intending to attack with Wind Elemental Attack, but suddenly realized that it might endanger Klee, so she had to dismiss that idea.
In a moment of urgency, Sucrose shouted, "Klee, don't worry, Sister Sucrose will help you."
She swiftly moved her legs, clad in over-the-knee stockings, and ran over to Klee, pulling on the backpack together.
"Darn it!"
The feeble Pyro Abyss Mage couldn't overpower them for a moment.
"Since you're asking for death, don't blame this mage for being impolite!"
The Pyro Abyss Mage, furious and ashamed, suddenly let go, causing Sucrose and Klee to fall to the ground with the backpack.
It waved its staff, and red fire elements gathered in front of it into a huge fireball, which it then pushed gently towards Sucrose and Klee.
"Yikes!"
Sucrose, who hadn't had time to retaliate, instinctively cried out in panic and hurriedly shielded Klee.
"What!"
Nolan heard the commotion not far behind him and also sensed the danger facing Sucrose and Klee.
That Pyro Abyss Mage was indeed cunning, actually sneaking around to their rear.
The top priority was still to find a way to block that fireball. If it hit Sucrose and the others, especially Klee, causing her injury, then the Acting Grand Master of Knight of Favonius would definitely not forgive Noelle, who failed to protect Klee, and Nolan himself would also be blamed without any surprise.
Moreover, even if he got injured himself, he wouldn't want to see girls getting hurt in front of him.
So Nolan didn't hesitate much, directly unleashing his fastest speed to stand in front of them. With a "bang," the scorching fireball hit his chest.
First, his clothes were burned with a hole, then a burning sensation crazily rushed to his brain!
Nolan gritted his teeth, trying hard not to make a sound. And in the moment when the fireball disappeared, he condensed a vortex of wind elements in his palm.
With a light tap of his boot, he dashed forward, and the vortex slammed into the Pyro Abyss Mage's elemental shield!
