[Superman] Chapter 82: Pushing the Stars with Bare Hands (Long Chapter)
🕑 Added 2024-02-18 17:24:32 +0000 UTCSeeing Peter actually smash a planet with one punch, countless fragmented boulders drifted in the starry sky.
There was even a hint of shock in Odin's eyes.
"This human's power is truly unbelievable!"
This was the first time he had seen someone able to destroy a planet relying solely on the tremendous strength of their physical body.
Even he could only do so by relying on vast divine power...
However, shock aside.
Odin had no intention of holding back.
With both hands tugging forcefully, huge golden chains spanned across the sky.
Creak!
As the golden chains suddenly pulled taut, ripples like water waves flickered around the void.
Boom boom...
Amidst a terrifying spatial tremor.
Two planets of varying sizes were pulled over from distant galaxies.
"Come, let's see how many planets you can pull over."
With the boundless power surging within, Peter felt no fear.
In contrast, Odin had already rapidly swung the two massive planets up.
The two planets like meteor hammers slammed towards Peter, sandwiching him in between.
Boom!
In an instant, like Mars colliding with Earth, the two huge planets crashed into each other.
The terrifying impact resonated across the galaxy.
The powerful collision erupted into a flash of light, comparable to a shining star.
Almost no human could have survived such a terrifying planetary collision.
However, Odin's expression did not show any joy of victory.
He still frowned, his massive body standing erect in the cosmic sky.
With his powerful divine senses, he could still feel that ferocious aura had not been extinguished.
Sure enough, Odin's senses were not wrong.
With a terrifying quake, the golden divine chains connecting the two planets were instantly snapped apart.
The two planets, now each reduced to half their original sizes from the collision, instantly erupted with an even more dazzling radiance, like that of a true star.
The two closely impacted planets also exploded entirely at this moment.
Fragmented rocks became countless asteroids, hurtling towards Odin's gigantic body.
Pew pew pew.
Odin's expression was unchanged, waving his hand to form a golden light barrier that blocked the incoming debris.
After dozens of seconds, when everything calmed down and Odin dismissed the energy shield, all he saw before him was Peter, his body flickering with the dazzling radiance of a star...
...
"Odin in his prime truly lives up to being the Ruler of the Nine Realms."
Peter had doubted before whether the Odin that seemed like a withering old man could have ever ruled the Nine Realms.
But now, he had no doubt that Odin did possess the formidable might to rule the Nine Realms.
"But now, even the true Ruler of the Nine Realms cannot stop my edge."
The next moment, Peter's entire body flickered with intense golden light, like a bright meteor rapidly streaking across the starry sky towards Odin's massive body.
"Not good!"
The terrifying speed Peter erupted with made Odin's expression change.
Without any hesitation, the massive figure swiftly retreated while both hands swung rapidly in front of him.
A series of golden lights swirled out, some forming golden light curtains in front of him.
And many more directly transformed into golden spears, thrusting towards the streaking Peter.
Thousands of golden spears almost covered the entire sky, surging towards Peter's body.
Crack...
However, the golden spears formed by divine power seemed as if they were made of plastic at this moment.
They shattered inch by inch upon contact with Peter's figure, turning into scattered stars.
In less than a second, tens of thousands of golden spears had completely disintegrated.
Only a few hundred golden light curtains remained blocking Peter's path.
Peter's figure didn't pause at all, already approaching the speed of light, and at this moment, he surpassed the speed of light directly.
Truly becoming a streak of swift light, he crashed into the first golden barrier.
Boom!
Almost instantly, the first divine power barrier was easily torn apart.
Before the barrier had even fully collapsed, Peter was already before the second, tearing through it as easily as the first.
Like the Three Body civilization's water droplet probe easily penetrating the human space fleet's defensive line.
Peter's light-form also easily shattered hundreds of golden barriers in less than a thousandth of a second.
In the instant the last barrier collapsed.
The astonishment on Odin's face could no longer be suppressed.
But now, it was too late for him to dodge.
As Peter's punch infused with terrifying power heavily struck Odin's gigantic body.
Like an ant toppling an elephant, it seemed extremely inconceivable.
Odin's figure was blasted away, disappearing at the edge of the cosmic sky in the blink of an eye.
Peter naturally did not naively think his single punch could defeat Odin now.
Just as he was about to turn into a streak of light to chase after.
He suddenly sensed a strong spatial fluctuation behind him, and an acute aura opposed to his own.
Whirling around instantly, he threw a fist back unhesitatingly.
Boom!
A huge golden spear phantom sliced across the cosmic night sky, instantly colliding with Peter's fist.
The terrifying impact instantly shook the entire galaxy.
"Hmph!"
Wielding the colossal Eternal Spear, Odin gave a muffled grunt as his massive body uncontrollably retreated several steps.
Looking at Peter's tiny figure, his eyes were filled with shock.
He didn't expect his sudden sneak attack to still be unable to gain the slightest advantage in power.
The brief clash made Odin realize Peter's strength was truly too terrifying, and he was completely unsuited for close combat against him.
So the next moment, Odin's body surged with brilliant golden divine power again.
"Haah!"
With a roar, the terrifying divine power shook the galaxy.
Countless divine power around him transformed into golden chains again, diving straight into the surrounding void.
"Ah!"
Accompanying Odin's angry shout, dozens of golden chains instantly pulled taut, and the space around him simultaneously produced dozens of rippling waves, like water.
"Could this guy have pulled over every planet in this galaxy?"
Peter looked at Odin erupting with tremendous divine power in surprise.
But the next moment, reality confirmed Peter's doubts.
Sure enough, with intense fluctuations in the surrounding space.
Massive planets were dragged out by the golden chains.
In just a few seconds, dozens of planets had appeared around Odin.
Planets of varying sizes, pulled by the golden chains, actually began rapidly orbiting around Odin.
Odin now, shining with golden light, standing erect among the stars.
Was like the most important star in this galaxy's system.
"Alright, you're the real Sun God!"
Seeing Odin standing amidst the planets, Peter was greatly shocked.
At this moment, with the sudden appearance of so many planets, the surrounding gravity was already in great chaos.
Countless asteroids were drawn in by such powerful gravity, rapidly converging and continuously dancing with the orbiting planets.
Fortunately Peter had his biological force field to ignore the chaotic gravity.
"What can he do like this, other than looking more impressive?"
At this moment, Peter looked curiously at the juggling Odin.
But the next second, Odin showed him with actual actions.
As the planets danced, Odin suddenly stepped in the void, pressing down on Peter like Mount Tai.
It was like encountering a gigantic madman with a dozen hands, each wielding a butcher knife and slashing at you.
This oppressive feeling would be unimaginable if you hadn't experienced it personally.
And right now, Peter had this strong sensation.
Odin standing amidst the stars made him feel completely overwhelmed.
But Odin did not care if Peter felt frustrated.
As he drew closer, a massive planet emerged from the orbiting group and smashed towards Peter.
"Nevermind, smash first, talk later."
At this moment, Peter directly became a planet-smashing machine, unhesitantly punching the incoming planet.
Boom!
With a terrifying rumble, the planet exploded violently.
"This guy actually has a follow up."
But behind the shattering planet was an enormous golden spear.
To Peter's surprise, it pierced through the shattered planet debris directly at him.
In haste, Peter once again threw a punch.
Boom!
Under Peter's fist, the huge golden spear shattered inch by inch, turning into golden starlight dissipated in the universe.
However, before Peter could catch his breath, another planet swiftly followed, crashing towards him.
"Not finished yet?"
Once again, he shattered this planet with a punch.
But behind the shattered planet, there was another even larger one crashing towards Peter.
"You asked for it!"
The next moment, Peter's figure directly turned into a streak of light, swiftly retreating, and instantly disappeared in this starry region.
"Hmm?"
Odin watched as Peter's figure disappeared in an instant, hastily releasing a powerful perception, wanting to sense where Peter might suddenly appear.
In his view, Peter would definitely not choose to escape.
However, after waiting for several minutes, Odin still didn't detect Peter's presence, as if he had truly escaped.
"Could it be..."
Odin was about to spread his perception to a farther place when he suddenly noticed a distant star shining with dazzling light, seemingly becoming stronger at this moment.
"What's that?"
"How is this possible!"
As the huge star flew rapidly towards him, Odin finally confirmed that Peter had indeed not escaped.
Instead, he had gone to the center of the galaxy, using his mortal body to push across the interstellar space with his hands, coming at him with that shining star.
"Is this guy really human?"
At this moment, Odin couldn't help but deeply doubt who between him and Peter was the true god!
