[Superman] Chapter 81 One Punch, Shatter the Star!
🕑 Added 2024-02-09 18:45:07 +0000 UTC"Wow, what kind of monster is that?"
A few days ago, Thor, the God of Thunder who had once invaded Earth, reappeared on Earth.
This event had already triggered widespread coverage by all human media outlets.
Moreover, the massive crater created by Peter's punch from before had been revered as a sacred site by countless worshippers.
Now, another figure claiming to be the King of the Gods arrived with even greater momentum, instantly shaking the entire world.
Swoosh!
A breaking sound tore through the sky. A figure instantly appeared before Odin in the void.
Looking at Odin bathed in dazzling golden light, as if a real god had descended to the mortal realm, Peter showed an excited smile at the corner of his mouth.
"It looks like you're going all out this time."
At this moment, the vast divine power in Odin's body had almost turned into substance.
The golden glow dyed the entire sky. The terrifying majesty made people want to kneel down and worship.
"Let's go to a more suitable place. Midgard is not fit to be our battlefield," Odin's voice full of majesty entered Peter's ears.
"You're right. Earth is indeed not a suitable battlefield."
"Especially for us!"
With Peter's agreement, Odin almost without hesitation raised the Spear in his hand.
The next moment, a golden pillar of light enveloped the two, and they disappeared from Earth in the blink of an eye.
"Do you think Superman can still win this time?"
Looking at the disappearing figures of the two in the void, countless people were filled with intense curiosity.
"Of course, our Superman is invincible, the great hero who protects humanity, he definitely won't be defeated!"
"Have you forgotten? The guy who came a few days ago was just as arrogant, but what was the result?"
"Wasn't his weapon snatched away by Superman and placed on top of the Stellar Technologies building? I heard it's still there."
"However, what happened when a divine weapon was placed there?"
Just like the Heavenly Sword in the True Martial Hall, no one dared to covet it. (T/N: I call this BS!)
Similarly, the battle-axe placed on the rooftop of the Star Tech Tower was also left untouched by anyone.
...
In a huge galaxy hundreds of light-years away from Earth, a golden pillar of light suddenly cut through the boundless universe, illuminating the entire starry sky.
As the pillar of light dissipated, two figures suddenly appeared in the universe.
"There is no life on any planet in this galaxy, which makes it very suitable as our battlefield."
Standing in the void of the universe, Odin slowly spoke.
"In that case, let's not waste any more time and begin directly."
Peter had been waiting for this battle with Odin for several days, and at this moment, he was already a little impatient.
"Please wait, there are some things I need to ask of you, Your Excellency."
Unlike Peter's impatience, Odin, with his dignified voice transmitted directly to Peter's ears, had no sense of urgency.
"Alright, speak quickly if you have something."
Even with Odin going all out, Peter still had the most basic respect for him.
"In this battle, regardless of the outcome, I hope Your Excellency won't trouble Asgard again."
"Don't worry, I never actively seek trouble with others. This time, it was you who provoked me first."
Peter almost agreed without any hesitation.
"Additionally, if I die, it may lead to a powerful entity breaking through its seal, causing Asgard to suffer, and even potentially engulfing the entire Nine Realms..."
Odin's expression turned somewhat grave. Currently, this was his only concern.
"You mean your daughter, Hela, right? Don't worry, as long as she doesn't provoke me, I won't meddle in your family's mess."
"What I mean is..."
Odin's expression was somewhat surprised, seemingly not expecting Peter to know about this matter.
"I know you want me to help Thor and save Asgard."
Peter seemed to have known Odin's true intentions for a long time.
"But unfortunately, I don't have that habit, unless..."
"Unless what?"
Odin asked expectantly.
"Unless that guy, Thor, can set aside his pride and ask me for help, perhaps..."
"This..."
Odin's expression froze at the words, seeming like he had more to say.
"Enough with the chatter, I'm eager to get started!"
The next moment, Peter didn't continue to listen to Odin's rambling. His entire being instantly emitted a terrifying aura.
"Lastly, if Loki does something that harms Midgard in the future, I hope Your Excellency will spare his life..."
Watching Peter, who was already prepared for battle, Odin hastily uttered his final words.
"As long as you defeat me, anything is negotiable!"
Peter, however, had no hesitation. His entire body turned into a stream of light, cutting through the dark night sky of the universe, and rushed towards Odin.
"In that case, let me show you what it truly means to be the ruler of the Nine Realms."
After the majestic voice, a dazzling golden light enveloped the entire starry sky.
At this moment, Odin's suppressed divine power was released without reservation for the first and only time.
Like a golden sun, it illuminated the entire star system.
...
Ignoring Peter's transformation into a stream of light, a golden barrier almost instantly materialized, blocking him.
"Turtle shield?"
Peter stared at the substantial golden barrier with his eyes, then unhesitatingly threw a punch at it.
Boom! In the silent space, a terrifying wave instantly swept in all directions.
Crack!
The huge golden barrier formed by divine power was directly shattered by Peter's punch, and spider-web-like cracks rapidly spread across it.
The next moment, it collapsed with a loud rumble.
As the golden energy dispersed, a magnificent scene unfolded in the starry sky, with feathers-like golden lights floating around, forming a beautiful picture.
With the barrier shattered, Odin's figure reappeared in front of Peter.
However, at this moment, Odin, who was originally of normal human size, had become immensely huge, comparable to a small star.
Golden light radiated from his body, turning into golden chains that penetrated into the surrounding void.
"Damn, he's using his big move!"
Even Peter was shocked by the scene before him. Indeed, Odin in his strongest state before death was indeed challenging.
The next moment, under Peter's gaze, the golden chains that penetrated into the void gradually pulled.
Then, as the chains delved deeper into space, huge ripples were stirred, and a massive planet seemed to cross space and suddenly appear in front of Peter.
Odin's eyes gleamed with star-like brilliance.
With a single wave of his hand, the golden chains in his hand suddenly tightened.
That planet, like a massive meteor hammer, smashed towards Peter with a loud roar.
"Even if it's a real planet, I can still shatter it with one punch!"
Peter's gaze sharpened, and the immense power within him was unleashed without reservation for the first time.
Clenching his fist, he punched towards the planet hurtling towards him.
Boom!
Like a dazzling firework, it blossomed in the universe.
Under Peter's serious punch, the planet burst apart suddenly.
Countless fragments turned into small and large asteroids, rapidly flying in all directions!
...
